Howard Johnson by Wyndham Leavenworth

The staff was super friendly. We arrived an hour early and they were able to accommodate an early check-in. They gave us breakfast slips to fill out and I joked to my group about breakfast not being available at 3 a.m. (we were in town to hike the Enchantments), and they said if we filled and delivered the slips early, they would pack and deliver our breakfasts that night! We were super thankful for this. The breakfast options included a Jimmy Dean breakfast croissant or cereal, a Chewy or Nutrigrain bar, and your choice of yogurt, as well as a water or juice. Not the fanciest of breakfasts, but it was quick and hit the spot before our long journey. The hotel is in heart of downtown and close to everything. We walked to both the Alpine roller coaster and out to dinner while we were there.

Our group has no critical feedback. We didn't spend a ton of time in the room, but really enjoyed our stay here!

Good location about 10 minutes walking from the heart of downtown Leavenworth. We appreciated that they are pet-friendly and even the pet rooms were nice and clean. Spacious bedroom with two queen beds, table/chairs and a countertop area with microwave. Clean bathroom. Staff was very friendly.

The pet room smelled moderately strong of air freshener, which I suppose is better than it smelling like pets. But it was a bit overwhelming. We got used to it. Breakfast was in a to-go bag with fairly minimal options. Would have preferred a hot breakfast, but it wasn't bad.

THE STAFF ARE ALL WONDERFUL. ALWAYS GREETING US WITH A SMILE. WE LIKED THAT THE ROOM HAD A REFRIGERATOR, MICROWAVE, COFFEE MAKER, AND A GOOD SIZE COUNTER SPACE WITH DRAWERS TO PUT THINGS IN. ESPECIALLY LOVED THE FREE HOT COCOA AND COFFEE STATION IN THE LOBBY. COMING BACK TO YOUR HOTEL AFTER WALKING IN THE SNOW, AND BEING ABLE TO GET FREE HOT COCOA AND HOT COFFEE EVERYDAY IS SUCH A TREAT. THANK YOU FOR THAT. THEY EVEN HAVE PACKAGES OF APPLE CIDER YOU CAN MAKE. THEY PROVIDE THE HOT WATER TOO. AND IT'S DELICIOUS. LOVE THE BIG COMFORTABLE BED AND IT'S THICK COZY COVERS. AND ESPECIALLY LOVED THAT THE ROOMS ACTUALLY HAVE A NICE SIZE DINING TABLE YOU CAN EAT ON.NOW THAT'S REALLY RARE IN A HOTEL ROOM. ESPECIALLY LOVED THAT THE ROOM RATES ARE REALLY REASONABLE AND AFFORDABLE. HOTELS IN THE DOWNTOWN AREA OF LEAVENWORTH ARE SO UNBELIEVABLY EXPENSIVE. AND BREAKFAST IS PROVIDED DAILY.

I KNOW BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED BUT I WOULD HAVE LIKE TO HAVE MORE OPTIONS.

The mattress was amazing! Room very clean. Staff very kind all of them. The breakfast was a Jimmy Dean Sandwich which just happened to be a family favorite. Very pet friendly.

My daughter's room the people above her were very noisy. They woke them up several times up through the evening 10 pm to 2 am with their jumping and laughing etc. She complained but nothing changed it got worse.

Good location and value. HUGE room. Shower was nice, clean and great water pressure. Marshmallow covered pool, but we didn’t visit the pool so can’t really comment on its status.

Parking was a tough. And it’s LOUD. From the other patrons walking to the road department across the street. You’ll hear it all. Old appliances…like from back when they made appliances with wood panel painted sheet metal. We had to jam socks between the refrigerator door and wall to keep it closed.

Location was good.

The breakfast was the worst. I thought there wouldve been a better option. We got this hotel for the breakfast included. For the price i paid for the hotel i got a cereal box and a granola bar. Regardless of the other options it wasnt the best. To add on top of the breakfast, our milk was expired. And come out all clumpy onto the cereal. Making the meal not even edible. So truly dissapointed.

The hotel was very comfortable and not far from the centre of town. It met our needs for a night.

We were provided a breakfast in the price of the room. The breakfast consisted of a packaged meal delivered to your room. A plastic egg and bacon muffin that needed to be microwaved, watered down orange drink (juice) and sweet yogurt. Not very appealing. But for the price it was hard to complain.

The bed was comfortable and the room was well furnished and clean. Ample parking and even some spaces in converted area. Very affordable compared to other Leavenworth models.

Even though Covid no longer poses a serious health problem and all are unmasked, this motel does not provide daily room cleaning or towel replenishment services (when no one else is there) and breakfast is skimpy and take-away. Guests must specifically request more towels and coffee packets even if staying multiple nights.

We loved almost everything about our stay. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts in the morning and how we didn't need to drive everywhere.

My only issue was sinking in the bed. My husband's only issue was the air conditioning made the room colder to him, even though it wasn't set very low at all.

the room was spacious, clean, and contained all needed amenities. The price was also affordable.

The traffic on Hywy 2 is noisy, but keeping the fan on all night helped with that. Covid scares are over, yet there is still no room service given without special request and the “continental breakfast” is still given out bagged.
