BayVue Hotel, Resort & Suites

Most of the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The check in and out person was awesome. The kitchen staff was awesome. The pool and hot tub were clean and well kept. The carpets were clean, walls were clean without stains.

We rented two rooms. One room the refrigerator did not work, one room the tv was not programed for channels. When we mentioned this to the front desk they did nothing about it. On our last night my husband and I rise early and went out the door to get fresh air. No one was at the front desk. A lady was sleeping in her car right outside the door. Turns out she was the front desk person. No coffee was made like the morning before. The fellow was awesome. Made me fresh coffee when I went down at 5am. We never saw the person in the car after she woke up and went inside. The phones were ringing off the hook. No one was there to answer.

Cozy and homey vibe and the staff seemed to care. It wasn't perfect but when something wasn't working like the hot tub bubbles, someone came quickly. They were friendly. Super close to the ocean and donut shop and pizza across the street and a couple minutes to mini golf and close to Quinault too. They had breakfast included. Eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, yogurt, coffee. It also had a constant fan option in the rooms so you didn't get woken and the showers are nice and powerful. Upstairs unit had great view and downstairs was close to pool and fast walk to vending machine and breakfast. Drapes could do better darkening and windows better soundproofing but honestly, we liked the place and even didn't mind so much waking to the sound of seaguls. Oh and good size fridge and microwave and coffee maker.

Bathroom had a couple ants and needed painting on the trim. Overall refresh.. I was unable to get my rooms even on the same floor as I requested but it felt comfortable and safe for the teens to walk around from one room to another. We enjoyed our time.

Location is amaaazing..beds were super comfy and the staff were super attentive and helpful. Loved Jamie, she is such a hard worker and provided excellent customer service. The evening guy was super helpful regarding the need for more pool towels. Pool and hot tub were perfect. Although, the quest machine keeping the pool area dry which was a smart touch could use a filter change. This was minor and for how much amenities and great service they provide is an easy fix for a busy staff. The breakfast was plentiful and I felt safe in our room. The best location for a hotel in town. Loved the 3rd floor ocean view and will definitely be bringing my family back!!

the breakfast was great but i like when i spoke with the desk lady and she was able to recommend a great place to eat dinner. also we arrived at about 230pm and online it said we couldn't check in till 4pmbut the lady on the desk was able to get us checked in earlier and that was so much of a convenience to us so we could stow our belongings BEFORE going to the beach for rest of day. I greatly appreciated that acclimation.

the check in time was originally 4 pm and that seems awfully late in the day, but we were able to rectify that. Another SMALL issue was that the trail leading from the back of the building was seriously overgrown and under maintained. It was almost like hiking through a dense jungle it was slightly dangerous to use especially since it was already dark and we were using flashlights. I just felt as it was a marked beach access trail it should be better maintained but in the end it DID get us to the beach so I'm not complaining.

This property surprised me, only because being in a small ocean town my expectations are lowered a bit especially booking last minute. This was a great stay! The beds were extremely comfortable, and the hotel was very well maintained. I would definitely recommend this stay if you are looking for a convenient less expensive option for a good experience!

The windows could definitely use some maintenance, I understand it might be tough getting to specific windows on the property. With so much activity from the birds the ocean view is dwindled a bit from the bird poop all over the window.

The reception from Angelica was outstanding. She not only called us when our room was ready ( early) but she was genuinely happy to help us with everything. The location was great and the view from room 313 was really nice. Breakfast was really convenient and the staff worked hard at keeping things clean and restocked. Fresh lemon water in the lobby was a really nice addition.

Though not the fault of the hotel, the seagulls left a mess on the cars in the parking lot. We asked where a car wash was and the hotel let us hose off our car in their lot.

Breakfast was really good, a good mix of choices. The lobby was bright and welcoming. The location is amazing. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. The room had a couch and a little table and chairs that was nice.

The room could use a little upkeep. The bathroom is a little dingy, and the headboard of the bed has obviously not been cleaned in some time. The decor in the room didn't really fit the wall, it looked very out of place. The waffle makers in the breakfast room were also awkward to get to, blocked by a garbage can, and are easily blocked if one person is using one.

Breakfast was great. The staff were nice. Things were mostly clean. I was happy with almost every ☺️.

There was some sort of steak bone or something on the floor. My service dog found it and started to eat it. Luckily there wasn't enough meat for her to get sick. Please make sure everything is indeed clean. Things could have been worse if there was more meat on that bone or if she choked on it. Oh, also the shower curtain seemed to have some dirt on it. Kinda gross, but not too big of an issue.

Location and staff were excellent. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday was delicious and with a variety of choices. Saturday the tables were cleaned quickly after guests left. On a future trip we will ask for a room closest to the beach. Our room was okay and we could see the surf, but also overlooked the parking lot of several other hotels.

When I called to confirm the reservation on Friday Morning there was no mention that the pool and hot tub were closed. Breakfast tables on Sunday were not cleaned in a timely manner after guests left. We had to wipe our table down before sitting at it. Windows were dirty. Did not like the fact that there was no screen on the window that opened and it opened fully. A child ( or an inebriated adult) could fall out.

Our room was bigger than most with two queen beds and a sofa bed. The beds and sofa area were separated by a half wall. The sofa area had a table and chairs, tv, kitchen sink and counter with microwave and frig under. In the bedroom area had another tv and bathroom sink was separate from toilet and shower. We were traveling with our 8 and five yr old grandchildren. After all day on the beach, we could come in, shower, play in the indoor pool and walk to pizza.

It is a bit dated and the ac was pretty loud.
