The Polynesian Resort

We had a suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths in a corner unit. Lots of space, great windows, fire place, full kitchen, etc. Liked that there was indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and games as activities to do since we were visiting in winter. The hotel has close access to everything in ocean shores.

The trail to the beach seemed like it had not been maintained. The pool water was not crystal clear - not sure if the chemicals were balanced. Bring your own coffee.

We had a third-floor room with a view of the ocean and a nice balcony to sit on and watch the deer feed. The rooms were nice and comfortable, the bedroom has two queen-size beds, and the living room/kitchen area is roomy enough for all to sit and enjoy. The kitchen had all the plates, cups, bowls, and utensils we needed. The fireplace was a nice touch and we did enjoy a fire using the supplied Presto-log.

The only complaint I had was the bathroom tub took forever to drain, and the venting could have been a little better to help defog the mirror. Other than these minor inconveniences, the accommodations were nice and comfortable.

A table in the room was held together with duct tape and fell apart when a bag was placed on it ..I fell and hurt myself

Last time, pool had a small life jacket which fit my child perfectly. couldnt find it this time. Nevertheless, pool and spa have never been closed when I stayed and are enjoyable. Room was basically an apartment and suited my larger party perfectly. It was quite ideal.

As a former hotelier, it is a shame to report that either due to money or limited staffing, stayover housekeeping and complimentary breakfast services have been practically eliminated. Also had so many fleas in room it suggests vacuuming was not done properly.

The room was good. It was clean, although it is in need of updating. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was in good shape and clean. We didn't use the pool and didn't see a hot tub. One area was marked for construction so we wondered if they were updating the hot tub???? No breakfast. The restaurant on the property was only open Tuesday - Saturday which was strange because we were there on a three day weekend.

The walk to the beach was longer than I expected and it wasn't a straight walk because of the muddy path. Next time will get a room at the place across the street for less cost. It's much easier to drive to the beach than to walk in Ocean Shores.

our room was quite comfortable with a fully appointed kitchen and separate bedroom and living area. I travel with a service dog, and it was very convenient to be able to walk out our back door to relieve her.

while the hotel provides coffee in the lobby, and there is a kitchen in the private suites, it would have been nice to have some breakfast items available on the property. It is necessary to drive or walk a couple blocks to the nearest café for breakfast. Fortunately, the weather was beautiful, but this would not have been very pleasant if it had been stormy.

The property is older but well maintained. The room is spacious with a nice deck to relax on. There are burners and pans to cook with and there is a nice sized coffee pot and a fridge that is larger than most. The wifi and tv systeem is excellent and the pool has extended adult only hours. The location is perfect for exploring this area of Washington and the percieved value here is outstanding when compared to other venues in the area. The staff is well trained and helpful. This property is well managed.

The only suggestion I have is that the lighting in the pool area is poor, but is not a deal breaker. The spa is brand new and the sauna is excellent, and is well stocked with plenty of clean towels.

The room was exceptionally clean. Being someone with allergies, it was wonderful to know that someone deep cleaned the room. I will be staying there again. They also have a nice small playground with swings. I really liked the game room. I plan on return with the grand-kids and if the weather is not so nice, the kids would have fun here as well. The staff was great. Everyone i met was eager to assist.

The size of the 2bdrm 2 bath pent house suite compared to the cost was excellent! With 6 people we never felt crowded. We paid $960 for 4 nights over the 4th of July. The kitchen was very adequate to cook for 6 people. The beach was a very short and easy walk. The pool, spa, and jacuzzi were nice. We liked that they have adult only time. The arcade and pool table were also a great addition. We felt the room was clean and had no concerns. We left beach items strapped to the top of the car and had zero concerns for safety. The staff was very friendly. They don't offer in room service due to Covid and staffing. We just made a list of replacement items and picked up at the front desk. We didn't mind at all. Very budget friendly hotel that we will be booking again!

The room was a bit dated. There was paint peeling on the doors. The hallway carpets outside of the room really need a good cleaning as the stairwell smelled. None of this was enough to stop us from booking again though. Not a 5 star hotel, but we weren't needing that.

Almost everything was awesome fun easy to get to most was within walking distance.

The phone in the room was very dirty I cleaned it with my Clorox wipes. And I spilled a bit of water on the bathroom floor when I wiped it up with the bath mat towel -the Bath mat towel picked up a lot of dirt. We had just arrived. The fridge leaked a couple of cups of water into a bowl that had some cream cheese in the fridge. No blenders to make smoothies. Please consider getting steam mops it sanitizes the floor cleans them quickly and it's chemical free. Please consider putting blenders in thank you The booking promised free Continental breakfast. Which they no longer have. 😳
