Best Western Plus Aberdeen

We stopped for one night on our trip around the Olympic Peninsula. A typical (in a good way) BW accommodation conveniently located close to the regional highway, Walmart and local businesses. Breakfast was a nice addition, especially when most hotels have stopped offering them indefinitely.

One thing I would improve is the interaction dynamic at the reception. During our stay there were two female receptionists (I apologize for not remembering their names). The younger employee was completely overshadowed by her colleague. It was impossible to hear any of the hotel rules she was explaining to me because of the extremely loud phone and in-person conversations the other receptionist lady was having. The next morning I almost jumped when being greeted by the same overly expressive receptionist whilst on my way to breakfast. Every staff member has been really nice but I feel like reception should be a safe space, not a source of discomfort. Just a suggestion.

Steve at the front desk was great. We had to check out really early and he provided a '"to go" breakfast bag for us to take. He was friendly, personable, kind, and had us out the door in no time. Couldn't have asked for a nicer experience.

The only negative is you need to be aware that the hotel is next to an active train track. I was on the opposite end and it wasn't too bad.

The room was exceptionally large and comfortable. There was plenty of hot water, and the bed was very comfortable. The parking was ample, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent: it included eggs and bacon, along with numerous other items. The hotel also has a swimming pool and jacuzzi. Overall, an excellent and relaxing stop after touring the Olympic Peninsula!

I don’t have any negative comments.

This was a clean updated hotel. The carpets were clean, the breakfast was hot with attentive smiling employees. The rooms were updated and clean. Even though the hotel was booked full we felt welcomed at each interaction. Aberdeen is lucky to have Best Western there.

Perfect stay. We stopped here in the way from ONP to Portland. The hotel was large and spacious. It was a small gym, pool, laundry facilities (pay in coins), free parking. The room was clean and super comfortable. It had an iron and hair dryer and coffee machine. We really enjoyed our stay.

I loved things weren't bolted down. It was so clean! Front desk gentleman was very welcoming and kind.

I wasn't able to spend any time in the pool or jacuzzi. It was full of teenage boys! Not the hotel's fault, but was a huge let down! I really needed the relax time in the jacuzzi.

Located near places to eat and next to a Walmart. Check in was quick and staff was friendly. The pool was nice and comfortable. We travelled with 2 small children so having a swimming pool meant both the kids and us could relax for a but after a long drive. Breakfast was good.

For whatever reason American hotels always have shower heads at elbow height.

Very friendly and competent staff. The room was spacious and very clean!!! Really nice decor with plenty of storage. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker made it even more pleasant. I travel a lot for business staying in nice hotels, I was here on vacation and the room was on par with those, pleasantly surprised 😊

The location is a little less appealing, with some homeless people walking through the parking lot, but they didn’t bother us…it’s a good distance to and from Ocean Shores, but not too far to visit the beach.

We missed the breakfast … it was gone by the time we got up and we had to go to Starbucks.

Booking.com put my daughter’s name as the main person reserving the room instead of my name, therefore the person checking me in could not find our room reservation. We had just driven 300 miles from Central Oregon, so that was a bad start!!!

The spa tub suite was unbelievable, the tub is big enough for two and the jets feel amazing!!!. The room was incredibly clean; it had everything you need a mini-fridge and microwave alarm clock it even had a fireplace that was a nice mood setter if you're treating yourself to a spa day or going away with the, Miss or Mr this room will get you in the mood, plus you have a nice view of the water and close to everything in town. The front desk staff were all friendly, the grab and go breakfast is more like a snack but it was nice to have. This hotel is super quiet except for if your near the spa tub rooms you can hear the water and tub jets running kind of loud through the walls but bonus you cant hear the train.
