OCEAN SHORES RESORT - Brand New Rooms

The room was as advertised and very comfortable.

The front desk staff was non-existant. I emailed them ahead of time to ask about an early check-in and I never got a response. I arrived 1 hour before check-in time and went to the office during office hours to speak to someone but no one was there. I called the numbers listed on the note on the door but no one answered. About 10 minutes after check-in time, still no one was in the office and I flagged down a room cleaner. She came to the office and helped me check in. She asked if I had called the numbers listed on the note and I said I had. She was nice but the customer service could have been much better.

We enjoyed the nice clean rooms. This hotel is nicely located near most shopping and across the street from a wonderful coffee shack. The staff's discretion was greatly appreciated. The bathtub was just big enough for just two. The staff restaurant recommendations were spot on. Recommend sticking with them. The room soundproofing is adequate for most and a great feature. Definitely on my list to return.

Needed to have the floors cleaned again, which the staff did quickly while we were at breakfast. Breakfast was really light in comparison to other hotels I've stayed at.

We enjoyed the newly remodeled rooms. We had a full kitchen, which allowed us to cook the meals we wanted. We wished it had a view of the water and more amenities, especially for how much we spent. All and all, it was nice and we enjoyed our stay.

There weren’t many amenities you could enjoy. We also were not able to see or hear the ocean from our rooms because we were on a busy street and a ways from the beach. You also couldn’t call the front desk from your room.

It was new & very clean. The grab & go breakfast was a great bonus. Only wish it started at 6-7am not 8am. It was a short drive to the beach.

The online pictures of the room we thought we were booking isn’t what we got. When booking it showed two bedrooms. The one we got didn’t have even one bedroom. It had two beds but no bedrooms. The coffee in the room is absolutely terrible. But there is an espresso shop right across the street.

Last motel on our road trip of roughly 4500 miles. And another great one! The whole place seemed fairly recently renovated. Our room was spacious and very clean with a great shower, a comfy bed, a coffee maker as well a fridge and microwave. The furnishing and decoration of the room was a change of pace, definitely not your ruff-off-the-mill motel-kinda stuff. Friendly staff, WiFi worked fine. They offered a few breakfast items in the lobby but we just had coffee and made our own breakfast in our room. Lovely place, absolutely no complaints.

We loved how incredibly clean and comfortable the room was!! The bed and linens were like sleeping on clouds! We loved that we were able to park right in front of our room and the ceiling fans were a nice touch. Definitely better than most hotel stays!!

The one and only thing I would’ve changed is air conditioning. It was muggy and warm so it took longer to cool down and we didn’t want to sleep with the window open. As someone that likes to sleep cold this was a little hard to fall asleep, but definitely not a make or break.

I loved my stay at Ocean Shores Resort! The room felt welcoming, it was nice, updated and clean. It has a microwave, mini fridge, and a hair blow dryer. They include a complimentary breakfast. On the backside of the building, there’s a large grassy area with chairs and corn hole games set up. I even saw a deer wander through one morning! It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach! There are restaurants, a grocery store, gift shops, and more in walking distance. It’s easy to go from there on a beautiful drive up the coast too.

The rooms were very well updated. Bed was very comfortable. Good, central location. I already knew this was a motel, not a "resort" (no extra amenities really), so all that was as expected.

Walls/doors are pretty thin. Breakfast was very limited. Also the breakfast hours were quite late (10am), and with no regular housekeeping, no coffee replacements for the in room coffeemaker. This might have just been due to the limited holiday season staff tho.

IVery clean including the walls around the toilet shower & windows I used to paint it’s habit to look I stayed at Bay View the night before paid over $ 50 more and at Ocean Shores Resort I got the kitchenette it was way dirtier inside and out and the pool was dirty and had way too much chlorine in it and their towels had a shortage toilet toilet paper rolls were rusted. It was just gross but the breakfast was good and the staff was really nice 🦋

We very much enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean and the staff were very accommodating. The managers daughter checked us in and she was super sweet and was very knowledgeable about the area and good places to eat. We had dinner at Bennett's where she recommended and we were very happy with her choice. It was very close to the beach but did not have a view. That's okay though because it was so foggy we wouldn't have been able to see the beach anyway. beds were very comfy. We will stay here again in the near future Patricia

I really can't think of anything off the top of my head. We spent most of our time outside the room. We enjoyed everything about the room. I guess if I had to pick something it would be a bigger selection for breakfast.
