Coast Hilltop Inn

Ron, the manager, was wonderful. Engaging, warm, funny and helpful. The room was spacious and I liked that they had real plants on the main floor and they were all in good condition. It was clear that someone cared about them, and that meant to me that they also took care of the rest of the hotel.

The breakfast was extremely ho-hum and not up to par with what I've come to expect at hotels. There were no freshly cooked eggs and no fresh fruit. To be fair, there were bagels, dry cereal, ready-to-make waffles, yogurt and breakfast sandwiches in cellophane ready for the microwave. This is probably fine for many, but for over $200/night, I expect some fresh food.

The location of the hotel was convenient to the highway and town. The room and bed we’re comfortable and included a loveseat and small dining table, microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast was good and the view across town and the hills from the dining room was wonderful. A great perk to us was the free level 2 chargers which let us drive to Pullman in our all electric car and then leave in the morning with a full charge! Excellent plus for this hotel! We will be returning soon.

I liked the croissant egg sausage cheese sandwich but 2 minutes was too long to microwave it - the cheese ran all onto the plate. Spouse liked the bagel, hard boiled eggs and coffee. Simple, adequate American style breakfast choices.

Orange juice in a can. Was drinkable but sad. Struggled with the TV remote, was RCA for a Seiki TV and we were trying to hook up our Apple TV box with an HDMI cable but could not get the remote to select inputs - on the plus side, the helpful lady at the front desk came and showed us how to use the buttons on the side of the TV to achieve our desired connection.

Room was wonderful , comfortable and clean.

Check in service was very disappointing. The room was not ready until after 5pm for checkin. We understand staffing issues but the front desk clerk very cool and almost unpleasant. Offered no apology. When we did finally get a room, (that we had booked far in advance) the night clerk was the opposite , very friendly and apologetic. Very disappointed with day clerk. Not the experience we thought we would have. We travel to Pullman regularly and thought we'd try your hotel.

Breakfast sandwich good first and orange day one Hard boiled egg great but bagels dry and hard old on day two. Saturday morning very busy. So no hard boiled eggs. Did not eat bananas over ripe now. Skip sandwich. Had yogurt but could have been less sweet. But overall better choices than many hotels.

Improve pillow? A bit hard. My sister last day had a bad neck pain. Luke warm shower Saturday morning. Room 343.

Perfect location, great price, facilities were clean and exactly what we needed. My daughters enjoyed the pool and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. When we got home; we realized that we left my daughter's Apple watch in the room; and of course, the manager called me and said he would mail it to me. It arrived that week. Very impressed with this manager and staff; I wish we could remember his name. Will definitely be staying here again when we have to go back to WSU in July. Thank You Coast Hilltop Inn for making our first stay in Pullman a huge success!

The prooerty was clean and well appointed. i likes the layout of the hotel and the room I got.

This is a weird thing. I rarely use vending machines.But this trip an event ran much longer than anticipated and I needed to get right back to the hotel and get some writing done. I was hungry, but didn't want to make another stop so figured I'd grab a snack from the vending machine. I found the soda vending machine, but could not find the snack one. The next morning I took another stairwell and found it. But when I tried to locate it again, couldn't find it. Clearly, I have directional issues. But yeah, searched three floors and missed it.

Exceedingly friend staff members at the front desk are very welcoming. Everything is clean and nicely maintained. Hearty breakfast options. Great place to stay when visiting Pullman!

Love staying here on non-event weekends. However, like every other property in Pullman, there's no way to stay here on event weekends. The cost goes way up and the availability is impossible. Not unique to Coast Hilltop Inn, but still a bummer.

We loved this property the minute we walked in. Surprisingly beautiful! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location can’t be beat. This establishment sits right on the river walk trails which is such an easy way to get to parks and playgrounds. What a wonderful place to stay!

No breakfast but there is a Starbucks in the lobby area.

breakfast was fine, simple but enough. easy to find and access property. quiet area. polite staff. comfortable room.

our air conditioner didn't work right - so the room didn't cool down as well as it should have, and this town was in the 90+ degree weather. They tried to fix it, but it didn't help much.
