I liked the cool art that was in the motel, and it seemed fairly clean. The room was nicely decorated, and the ocean view was pretty awesome. It seemed like a very secure place. There was a safe, and you had to have a key card to get in the hotel or use the elevator, which was nice.

I didn't like how expensive drinks and stuff were there it was a little too pricy for my liking. A soda pop can was 4 dollars, which is really overpriced. Another thing is the homeless population outside of the hotel. I'm not sure if you guys have control over that or not, but the first thing that happened when I parked outside a homeless man walked up to me and tried asking me for things. It's a little startling.

The tech-forward room features, the location in the city, and the ease of the check-in/out process were great! Those were as-advertised and we really enjoyed these elements of the hotel.

We had a 'courtyard view' room but the view was not quite what we expected (it was only a view of the opposite gray exterior wall) and we could not see the sky nor receive direct sunlight in the room. Since we didn't spend too much time in the room during the day it wasn't a major concern, but we felt it was worth mentioning as an observation. Additionally, all that separates the bedroom and toilet/shower is a thin translucent curtain and frosted glass and no ventilation fan, so there isn't the most privacy between the two spaces. We didn't mind the small space of the room, but do keep in mind that it is very narrow and really only allows space for one large suitcase open at a time.

The location was perfect for my trip. It is walkable from the Light Rail, and it is within walking distance to the Ferry Terminal.

There should be coffeemakers in the rooms. There was free coffee in the lobby, but regular only, no decaf. I only drink decaf due to a medical condition. The staff offered to make decaf if I could wait (for beans to be ground I think), and bring it up to my room, which was very nice. But why not avoid all that, and just have little drip coffeemakers in room? Also, lack of a breakfast, even though I knew that ahead of time, was kind of a bummer, esp. since food is being laid out and sold in the lobby.

I wish breakfast was included and not $20 flat rate each day you want breakfast. granted it is for buffet which is good, but not everyone can always eat $20 worth of food in the morning and it felt like a waste to only have one plate or less for $20 a day. sometimes I only want something small. if it can’t be included, people should be given option to pay for a plate if they can’t eat too much. would be nice there was hooks inside the shower and a little shelf outside shower where toilet is. beds are very very firm if you like that! I’m not the biggest fan, but just my preference.

The room had a beautiful view of the city. Check-in was very easy and we loved how they gave you the option to choose what view you wanted for your room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the facility was great for a co-working space!

The location downtown was alight. Sadly there are a lot of homeless people in the area but I think that's just common for downtown Seattle unfortunately. For the price we paid, it would have been nice if breakfast was included. The room was small but that's expected.

This was just the coolest hotel. If you're a solo traveller or couple who are mostly out and about but want to come back to modern luxuries, this is perfect. The room is small but big enough and the bed is huge. A giant window to gaze out at Seattle. Screen share for Netflix after a long day sight seeing. So close to the waterfront with so many bars and restaurants around. An amazing shower and modern amenities. Everything controlled by an iPad. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe and walked everywhere day and night. Also able to walk here from the train station coming from the airport.

Loved it all, honestly!

The location was really great. The staff was very nice, especially the woman who helped us check in when my reservation did not show up on the check-in tablets. The bartender was also kind.

I did not like that conditioner was not in the shower. Every other hotel I have stayed at for the last several years has soap, lotion, and conditioner. I didn't realize that there was not conditioner or lotion or soap until I was already naked in the shower. There were two shampoos (one of which the friendly staff informed me later was also soap) but no conditioner. A little notice or sign before arriving and I would have brought my own stuff.

I loved how Seattle funky it was. Total Seattle culture and different from any other hotel I’ve stayed at. I loved the check-in and the little things in the room like the iPad that controls everything in the room! The color changing lights in the shower, so fun! The tv, lights, window curtains and climate are all controlled by the iPad. The soap, shampoo, decor and books were all super cute. The staff was friendly and helpful and the lounge area downstairs had a warm, inviting feel to it. I drank my coffee and read my book on the couch yesterday morning!

The one thing that would keep me from coming back or going to my other favorite hotel….the pineapple hotels…..is that the rooms were WAY to small. I feel like if they would have made them just a little more spacious hands down it would be my favorite choice for when I stay in Seattle. it was workable but I could barely dry off in the bathroom, let alone get dressed. my friend and I were touching if we tried walking past one another. the beds were comfy and everything else was amazing but this was A BIG ISSUE FOR ME CONSIDERING THE RATE.

This hotel has a chilled but organised vibe. Perfect for business or holiday travellers alike. The room is like your own little capsule on a space craft, with nice details, like an ipad for controlling the light, ventilation etc. Really cool that you can chromecast to the TV. But the best thing about the hotel is the team - the bar and reception staff were so friendly, accommodating and helpful, effortlessly making me feel like I was at home with friends. Keep up the great work citizenM team!

I would have liked a bit more choice and variety on the food menu. Also, the breakfast was a bit limited in variety - some more hot options would have been nice.

This is a great simple concept. a little like a no frills with lovely staff and some cool tech. Breakfast was great for a vegetarian but it’s the same every day so longer stays may become monotonous. it was a little bit cheaper than other more established places.

It is a little cheaper than other hotels and when you really examine it, you can see why . I wonder whether it is really good value? no gym, no pool, no leisure facilities and while the rooms use the space well, the actual floor space is tiny. I would not have been comfortable with anyone else in the room.
