There was an advertised restaurant at the Inn which was closed. I am assuming since the covid onset. I would have prepared better for our stay had I known that I would not have restaurant service. The cafeteria food had changed drastically since my last stay and was very confusing and disappointing. I could not get the soup that was supposed to be available and all other selections seemed to be not of my tastes. I did like the mac & cheese with cauliflower. A spa was also mentioned that I did not locate. I don't think there was one there.

Getting the soup at the cafeteria I wanted. The hotel clerk when we signed in did not seem to be very professional and spoke out in general to waiting clients rather than apologizing to each party as they checked in. All other personnel was very nice and professional. Helped and had answers to all of my questions.

The room was clean. I would say walking to Pike Place was not difficult. There are some restaurants that are within walking distance. The only challenge coming back, from anywhere downhill, was the steep slope up to the property. Overall, it was a great time spent there if you're looking for just a place to stay for your vacation in Seattle.

Only there was no reason to open the blinds in the hotel because it was just a medical facility facing our room. Again the steep slope but that can't be helped. Wasn't too much of a bother to my friends and I.

I ended up with a lovely room on the 9th floor, just a few steps from the roof top patio. Big room, comfortable bed, great location, and a jacuzzi tub! Day staff at the hotel was lovely

Not sure where it said they don’t clean the room unless asked. I stayed 6 nights - too long for that! Asking for extra supplies from the night staff was futile, although the day staff was very accommodating. The bathtub use regrouting, but not awful. Doubt I could have gotten a nicer place for the money. Highly recommend

comfy beds, quiet, friendly staff, historical location. Beautiful garden and rooftop terrace.

Not really a bad thing but the place was for sure haunted. We stayed in room 402 and there is a large closet for whatever reason in that room. I accidentslly slammes that door when shutting it the night before, then made sure it latched. Needless to say, it was remarkable that i closed the door, and that i hadnt been able to find a light switch. My best friend woke up in the middle od the night and the door was wide open. A light was on, shining from inside the closet.

I booked this hotel for one night because my other hotel was overbooked. I was a bit skeptical because of other reviews, but was happily surprised. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and comfortable and the rooftop terrace was a great bonus. Very central location but not too busy or loud, easy to reach by bus which was very welcome as walking up hill from downtown was very steep.

A security deposit was booked on my credit card without being mentioned during check in. The room decor is a bit dated and some updates/reparations were very patchy.

It is an old building, old furniture, old walls, etc but everything very clean, comfortable and convenient, a nice retro touch to fully enjoy a night or two in Seattle. The cool area of Capitol Hill to hang out in the night is walkable distance. We did that in the night, through nice streets and feeling safe. The staff was very friendly and we even got wonderful tips about bookstores, places to visit, etc etc Thank you so much!!

Only one elevator and usually busy but that's not such a big deal, not such an important detail to complain about. The place was very good in general and for a good price.

the location. it was located with the hospital. I was a patient there for early morning appointments. when you walk in, don’t be taken back by the lobby. it’s not that nice, but the rooms are great. I’d suspect it would get excellent ratings if the lobby was fancier. Keep in mind that this is an old building and it’s not easy to do a bunch of changes. All that matters is the clean rooms and the friendly staff… all but one woman in the early morning. She needed an attitude adjustment. The other two staff members where outstanding folks.

the room was so nice. it was large and had lots of windows. it was very clean as well. I loved the shampoo , etc products they use as well

started in a terrible room 503 which smelled of hospital , there was coffee and tea for one when we were two, there were only paper and plastic cups .. the paper one burned in the microwave and it was so noisy and airless… however the staff changed us to room 507 so so so much nicer with real glasses, good ventilation .. and quite perfect PLUS when they realised one was having surgery at the hospital they came out with the patient’s rate, even tho we had booked on booking.com. wonderful
