Courtyard Seattle Downtown / Pioneer Square

Very convenient to parking and Lumen Field. Lots of restaurants near by. Easy walking to other destinations. King bed was very comfortable. TV pulled out for easy viewing. Nice armoire for clothes. Big bathroom. Snacks, beverages, etc., available for purchase in the lobby.

Unfortunately, due to road work in front of the hotel, valet parking was a nightmare. So we decided to park our vehicle by ourselves, which turned out to be a better choice. We used the same parking structure as the hotel, plus we received a discount. Pull out sofa was uncomfortable. No microwave in our room (we didn't need it, but it was not there as advertised). Early vacuuming woke us up. Actual room was smaller than what the picture looked like. But it was fine for our one night stay.

The location is fantastic. A short walk (~a mile) to Pike Place Market; a block from the light rail; lots of restaurants and shops around the corner/block. The building is historic and beautiful; the view from the 14th floor of the bay was wonderful. The room was a decent size, sheets were very soft and it was clean. Front desk staff were great.

For some reason my room didn't cool down to the temp I tried to set on the thermostat (67 degrees). It was an uncharacteristically warm day in mid-May, and I left the curtains open during the day, so this may be why. Otherwise it was a great experience.

The lobby, rooms, and facilities were lovely. The pool was only open until 11pm, but it was still lovely. The attached Bistro is a good place to stop for a bite, if a bit pricey. Rooms and beds were very comfortable, no complaints.

Could hear essentially everything that was happening outside when in a room. Usually quiet, but when there was noise outside, you could hear essentially anything and everything, be it construction, trains, or just people.

The staff was wonderful. Every member of staff from the valet, front desk, to housekeeping were friendly and helpful. We were there for a Seahawks game and the location of the hotel was perfect. There are so many cool bars and restaurants within a short walking distance. The room was spacious and very clean. We have stayed at many hotels in that area for games and this is our favorite. This will be our game day hotel from now on.

Very comfortable and close to main area

House keeping started knocking on our door after 7am, we got one night in Seattle after we had been hiking for days in Mount Rainier and not getting enough sleep, and got a night at a comfortable hotel to sleep in, that didn’t happen were woken up several times very early in the morning and couldn’t go back to sleep, check out is at noon why are they knocking that early to clean a room!

Clean room, very comfortable bed, nice harbor view. Breakfast was included in the room price and was very good. We took Starbucks coffee and overeasy eggs with fried potatoes, toasted bread, butter and chicken sausages. Yummy!

They didn't provide any bedding for our son, who was supposed to sleep on sofa. We came at 11 pm to the hotel. I checked all cabinets, found nothing. It was too late and we were tired from road already. So we gave our kid a pillow from master bedroom. And we had a blanket with us. He made it somehow. But it seems to me that they must have full set of bedding for additional guests according to the room capacity.

Our studio room was excellent and very comfortable, the location is fairly convenient with generally easy access to Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, and most other key attractions. The room was well/m-equipped with everything one could need from a kitchen including dishes, cutlery, pans, and of course the stovetop and microwave. We didn’t try the coffee maker (why make our own coffee in the city famous for coffee shops?) but it was there too.

The on-site Bistro was closed for 2-3 days during our stay and the staff were unsure why. The immediate neighbourhood of Pioneer Square has a lot of people right outside the doors suffering from addiction and/or mental illness. Not a day went by that 3-5 people didn’t approach us looking for something - not a terrible thing, but definitely a consideration for anyone who is uneasy about that kind of interaction. The hotel, as a result, has 24 hour security and a locked front door requiring keyed access at all times.

We had a king studio which included an extremely comfortable pull-out bed. The kitchenette was reasonably stocked. The hotel had 24/7 security at their key-access front door. The location was better than we thought--less than a mile walk to Pike Place market and Pier 66. It was close enough (1.5 m) to walk to the Space Needle, but we chose to take the newly opened monorail. It was a very easy walk to the ferry terminal for Bremerton/Bainbridge. I used a bus to get to the Vashon ferry terminal. Public transit is very efficient and easy in Seattle.

Everything worked well for our needs.

Liz at the front desk bent over backwards trying to meet our needs. I had a group of 16yr old girls, so it was a little chaotic, as you can imagine. Liz took everything in stride and worked with me on finding the best room situation for our needs, helped provide all of the additional bedding we needed for the couches, and even gave my daughter a birthday card. Liz rocks!

I liked that the windows opened and we could hear the city’s hustle and bustle but one of the windows opened all the way which could be a safety issue if there were children present. We stay on the upper floors and a fall would be deadly
