The Sound Hotel Seattle Belltown, Tapestry Collection

A beautiful, modern hotel in the Belltown area. The spacious room was very clean, comfortable and stylish. We appreciated the free bottled water in the room. The reception staff and door attendants were all so lovely and friendly. We were checked in by Gustav and he was superb! We took a drink from the bar up to the rooftop terrace and sat in the sun enjoying the great views of the city. The hotel location was great for walking to The Space Needle and Pike Place Market, also Westlake Station. We didn't eat at the hotel but just along the road is a lovely restaurant called Lola.

Breakfast was excellent with freshly scrambled eggs, fresh cut fruit, high quality coffee made by hand, and really everything you want. Room was good sized with very comfortable beds and a large modern, clean bathroom. There is a good-size space with lots of windows for lounging or using a laptop on the 7th floor that includes a large balcony. There is also a gym on the 4th floor, but we did not use it

To get the room service, a request must be made by 11 am. Otherwise they do not clean the room.

Every hotel staff member we interacted with was friendly and interested in our well being. The hotel also has a little outdoor sitting area which was very nice to enjoy in the evening after returning to the hotel. The room we stayed in (two queen bed) was also on the larger size when compared to comparable rooms at other hotels.

The mandatory valet for cars has its advantages and disadvantages. A valet would have to bring the car to the front of the hotel if we needed to access it for any reason, even if we didn't need to drive it. This is specific to the amenity and could be experienced at other hotels as well where access to the valet lot is not permitted.

We liked the localization which was near everything: Pike Place Market, Space Needle, Pop Museum and etc. The staff were very kind and the food was great. The comfort of the room was superb along with a nice bathroom. The mini shop at the entrance of the hotel was very handy in case you needed anything. The receptionists were also kind and the reception itself was comfortable because it had a nice living hall.

The Sound was great! It was clean, the room was spacious for a family of 4, and it’s centrally located to various points of interest in Seattle. Also our nightly drinks at the bar, Currant Bistro, was great, especially because of Julian the bartender. Jami was great too! Every staff member we came in contact there was so kind and just the most helpful. They even had umbrellas for guests to use during our stay! With the frequent rain, that is very convenient.

The location was great and it was almost walking distance to many of the iconic attractions in Seattle. The staff were super nice and helpful and room was very clean and also designed very elegantly.

The only downside with not only this hotel but any hotel in the downtown is just the parking spot which was a hassle. Although the hotel did best by providing valet parking, still it was very expensive

Good sized rooms, and even though it was boutique sized it had all the amenities important to me - gym, valet parking, bistro attached. We had 4 adult men sleep in the 2x queen room and we were all comfortable.

The only thing to call out is the lack of self serve parking available. Luckily we stayed Sunday to Monday and the street parking is free all day Sunday. Just had to remember to pay for parking in the AM for the few hours before check out.

This was by far the highlight of our trip. Gustav at the front desk was exceptional and made sure my partners birthday was special. We both have partners that have birthday within days of each other and he made everything perfect for us even before our stay. The room is gorgeous and modern, as well as quiet. Additionally the price is as amazing for the hotel and it’s location. The view from the room also was as great! When we go back we will definitely be staying here.

There was literally not one complaint.

The breakfast was great and tasted great as well! The location was prime, and definitely in a perfect spot to walk places and such! I really loved all of the amenities and all of the help we received from staff with any accommodations.

I didn't like how the 7th floor terrace closed at 10pm but that isn't something to complain about, i just wished it stayed open. I didn't like how the restaurant was closed for a couple days back to back. The bar should have stayed open at least. I just think its a waste of business and the space and its definitely losing money that way.

Great location - in the midst of downtown and many attractions are walkable from the hotel. Super friendly staff. Very clean rooms. Comfortable beds - firm mattress with soft fluffy pillows so it balances out. Mini fridge in room. Standard rooms are large and include both a leather reading chair and then another seating area by the window with a table that easily moves around if needed. Bathrooms are also spacious and very clean. One morning I had breakfast down in their coffee bar area - a tasty breakfast sandwich they heated up.
