Staypineapple, Hotel FIVE, Downtown Seattle

A very nice individual hotel concept. The location is in the middle between downtown and the needle. We discovered Seattle by feet. The hotel offers parking places behind the hotel.

This hotel is better then some 4 or 5 star hotels I have stayed in. Every staff member is so friendly. The room was amazing and the bed was the most comfortable, my wife wants to buy the same duvets for our home now! The free water bottles was a nice touch as it was a really hot day and they even gave us a free alcoholic drink each to kickstart our 4th July adventure.

Everything about the room was fantastic. Wish the bar was a little cheaper. Hotel parking is crazy expensive and there are cheaper alternatives nearby. Only other thing I could suggest is a small fridge in the rooms to keep drinks and snacks fresh, but that would probably increase the cost of the room

Nice hotel on 5th Ave right between the shops/restaurants/public transportation and the tourist attractions such as the monorail and the Space Needle. Way less homeless people then around 3th Ave. Two must go to shops TopPot Doughnuts for a donut and a coffee and Bartell Drugs for a clean affordable grocery to buy some food and beverages for your hotel room.

Nice hotel, but if you want some improvements: A fridge on the room would be nice, however there are bags of ice cubes available to keep your beverage can cold (just a little bit too much hassle for multiple drinks). A cheap/complementary bottle of water in the room would be nice to avoid using the nasty chlorinated water.

There was a little hiccups when we checked in as apparently Booking.com did not transmit my reservation to the hotel, but the staffs at the hotel were very accommodating and helpful to coordinate with Booking.com and let us check in earlier and apologized for the inconvenience even it's not their fault. Location is a spot on, it is in downtown but in a quieter area and "safer" area of downtown, closer to Space Needle. Bed is very comfortable, room is very clean and cute, and thank you very much for the unlimited water which is rare to find at any hotels in North America. These little amenities are highly appreciated.

The heater in the room is very noisy and hot, and as actually the room is warm enough when we stayed (in March) so we turned the heater off.

The staff was exceptional they were so helpful they gave great recommendations on places to stay directions on how to get to places. They were top-notch and the general manager Amara treated us like we were best friends she was so sweet and helpful. The hotel was so cute all the decor was pineapples and although they didn't have a restaurant they still offered snacks and complimentary beverages. There was so many things close by to eat and to see that we didn't miss the fact that there was no restaurant in the hotel. The location was great everything was well lit we felt safe was a great experience. I would definitely recommend it.

My only suggestion was a makeup mirror in the bathroom other than that it was fantastic

Comfortable room , really nice location. The hotel had onsite parking which was helpful on out case having driven a long way to get there. Nice having shuffle board and small selection of drinks in the hotel lobby area.

There was additional daily ‘facilities’ fee that we found out about on checkin. I had no issue with parking fees, and taxes. But essentially the rate we paid in advance wasn’t the full amount: we were asked to pay an additional 25 per night -we got a game of shuffleboard out of it!

We loved the location, how cute the rooms were, how spacious the King Suite was, how friendly the front desk staff was, how they offered free water, how they decorated the rooms, how they offered Pineapple water and Pineapple cookies, how they offered each guest one coaster / free drink from their front desk refrigerator, and how comfortable the duvets were. Bed was very comfortable. Walked to a great pizza place near the Spheres. Restaurants near by. Would stay here again.

The room was fantastic. We paid a bit more and got a seperate seating area which was really good for our 6 night stay. The cleaners were excellent and front desk staff generally helpful. Towels, toiletries etc provided were of high quality. The location was great for Seattle Centre, Lake Union and the seafront. The road was busy but the windows were good enough to shut out the noise, and the air con quiet enough to cope with the heatwave.

Due to staff shortages the bar was shut and a few things were out of order for a few days. It looks amazing but sometimes it felt like it was style over substance.

Great hotel, very clean, friendly staff. Unlimited free water bottles, very good free coffee in the morning. The room is a little small but it was fine for me, personally, I spent the whole day outside, anyway. Conveniently located between the touristy neighborhoods (15 min walk to Pike Place Market) and the residential downtown/midtown and the Amazon Campus. I like walking so it worked great for me. Also, many bus stops are very close to this hotel if you travel without a car. Many great coffee shops and restaurants/takeouts are close to the hotel. Awesome Asian food. *The rooms and the lobby have rather bright, red-and-yellow color scheme, probably not to everyone's taste. I liked it, I found it balanced. There are breakfast sandwiches, snacks, and alcohol for purchase. You also get a coaster or two (depending on the duration of your stay) that you can exchange for a complementary free drink: wine, bear, or non-alcoholic (juice, bottle coffee, sparking water).

Sometimes, I could hear some neighbors talking and watching TV in the evenings, so the walls and the doors are not soundproof. But it was quiet at nights, I slept well.

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst holidaying from Australia. Quirky, fun pineapple theme throughout- plush cute dog on the bed, pineapple pic on pillow, bathrobe etc. Free welcome drink of your choice from a selection. No free breakie - but has a few things you can buy- drink, pastries in packets in a fridge in the foyer. Coffee was sometimes available but not always in the foyer. Room was clean and had nice decor. Wifi worked well. Staff were very friendly and helpful-they happily printed off our bag labels for our luggage for our Alaskan cruise. Hotel is in a good location- easy walk to space needle, restaurants- lots of choices, handy mini mart, good coffee/donut shop.

Bed was a bit hard for us- but that is personal taste. To watch movies you had to log into your own Netflix etc account- a few free movie channels would have been nice.
