Holiday Inn Seattle DWTN Lake Union, an IHG Hotel

Good price, convenient location, secure parking at a lower price than other hotels, nice sized room, clean and comfortable

We came in late evening and had the next day to spend in Seattle, leaving the morning after that. When we went to leave to explore the city we realized our room door wouldn't latch/lock. I went to the front desk and the woman working was not very friendly or helpful. She stated she'd let maintenance know but wasn't sure when they'd come. I asked if it would be possible to switch rooms but she said there were no available rooms (not true, I checked their website and there were rooms available that night). When returning to the room I ran into a maintenance person in the elevator. I told him what was going on and they came pretty quick after that. All other interactions with staff were professional and welcoming just not that one woman.

Room big, bed very comfortable, excellent location close to everything. Easy parking in the garage. Quiet room, good bathroom. A approved for next trip.

Customer service like a lot of hotels in the USA very bad, no compliments when you arrived the first time, in my culture is unpolite. But I understand the culture here. The housekeeping in 3 days never shows to clean or change towers, I know there are covid restrictions, but the covid has ended, everywhere they are treating as the normal flu now, hotels are making more money-saving on this. I called the Front desk 2 times o get some towers, but there was no answer, I have to come down. Anyway, just small things, the hotel is good.

The staff at the Holiday Inn were very friendly - check-in and check-out were very easy, they allowed me to check in early to an available room. They also offered plenty of recommendations for things to see in the area. The location was great for what I needed also - the Space Needle was less than a 10 minute walk and the Pike Place Market and the main shopping areas were a 20 minute walk away. The room had a decent size fridge under the countertop as well as a sink, microwave and coffee/tea machine. The room was very spacious and the bathroom had all necessary facilities needed.

The hotel and facilities are a little dated but the stay was still very comfortable so I can't complain!

The breakfast was expensive, but right next door so convenient (although it took FOREVER to get the simple egg sandwich). Unfortunately, downtown Seattle still has not 'completely opened' after Covid, so luckily we had a car to travel a little bit outside... but that's not the hotels fault! The hotel itself is awesome, clean and customer service was wonderful - next time, we'll have breakfast somewhere else.

We loved the location. Short walk to the museum of pop culture and good restaurants nearby. Hotel and our room was very clean. Early check-in was very helpful! Staff was always friendly and we will book the same hotel for our next stay in Seattle.

I wish simple breakfast and parking was included but it was still good to have an option for indoor parking with a fee. Our room’s view was not great (by the wall). but we didn’t complain because it was just a one night stay and we got the room early.

The location was good, too tired to do much exploring. Front desk staff suggested a good place to eat dinner and the food was really good, however, the service was awful. The front desk staff was terrific, especially great to meet Kathy (she's a riot) and Amy was quite helpful and very friendly!! Kathy helped us get transportation from the airport to the hotel and a shuttle to the cruise terminal (pier) -- so Appreciated. Then after our dinner, desserts were sent up to our room, WOW!! and so-o-o YUMMY! Thanks very much!

The traffic in Seattle was crazy, but, there were lots of special events going on in Seattle that weekend.

There is no breakfast, but there is a restaurant next door. Only one elevator works, but not big deal. There is free coffee in the lobby every morning. Location is great, can walk anywhere or you can take the bus is just around the corner.

The room is prett basic, they could leave more pods for the coffee machine. We ask for more, never got them.

The fact that they take an extra $100 for damage deposit and they did not and have not returned the monies. I have spoke to countless front desk staff telling me that the manager will reach out to me to discuss and return the funds but to this day, Dec 31/22 I still have not heard from anyone. I stayed there Dec 2nd and 3rd for two nights. This is very bad public relations, the hotel itself is ok but management sucks

Location was excellent relative to Climate Pledge Arena where we attended a concert. Secure parking was a bonus. Room was clean and comfortable. Felt safe walking around the area.

Driveway outside front door was easily blocked if cars didn't pull over to the side. Parking spaces in underground garage were all compact. Although there were numerous hand sanitizing stations, many weren't working. Room key cards only worked half the time. Expected to find info in the room pertaining to nearby restaurants and activities and; there wasn't.
