Cedars Inn

This is the 4th or 5th time we’ve stayed at Cedars Inn, always Labor Day Weekend when we see DMB at the Gorge. We’ve always been satisfied, but things are even better at Cedars this year than the past. Staff was especially friendly and breakfast is better than before. One thing we like is walls are thick and you can’t really ever hear noise or other guests. Also appreciate they offer water bottle filling station instead of single use bottles and have done away with most of the throw away plastic and styrofoam you sometimes see at hotel breakfast. It’s about an hour to the venue but the advantage is being close to the river and many fun day trips available between shows. In that regards, it is one of the best values available for a concert vacation.

Shower heads maybe waste too much water but prefer these to low pressure not enough water to rinse with so…

The young lady at the reception area went above and beyond to help get me into a handicap room to make my stay more comfortable, as I was having a surgical procedure done at the Hospital. The handicap room is set up very well for all handicap needs and get this one, the shower actually has awesome water pressure. The rooms on the first floor facing the parking lot have sliding doors for easy loading and unloading. Bar none one of the best breakfasts I have seen served for the value of the booking in Wenatchee. Popcorn served from 4:00-7:00 with all day coffee.

It could be a little quieter between rooms.

We came to road bike race Tour de Bloom for 3 nights. The location was perfect: close to all 4 races and super close to downtown. We really enjoyed evening walks on the riverside trail, local mall and dinners at Olive Garden restaurant which is 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. AC is a huge bonus as well. Staff was very friendly and we felt welcomed! There is also a covered pool on the property and it did seem to be great to spend some time there, which we just didn’t have :) Overall a very pleasant experience and we are looking forward to stay in Cedars Inn next year 🙏✨

A bit more extra meals for breakfast would not hurt but overall having breakfast at the hotel was very convenient

Breakfast was excellent. Clean facility excellent location

i arrived at 1:30am. I told the night counter man twice that a vehicle in the lot had left their lights on. He said there was nothing he could do. I went outside and got the plate number so that he could reference the plate to the room number. He refused to commit to trying to help the people, and in the morning the lights were still on. The clerk had nothing to do all night, I feel like that would be a worthy use of his time to save someone a dead battery. Morning counter staff were fine, not bad not exceptional.

The staff was super nice! Popcorn was available in the lobby for several hours, and there was a separate fresh baked cookie time. Coffee and a decent selection of tea were also available in the lobby 24/7, as was a big basket of what seemed like homegrown peaches. The pool and hot tub areas were nice and they were open 24/7! There was a lot of selection at breakfast, including hot food, a pancake station, and a waffle station. 11/10, would love to stay again!

The carpet in the room could have been cleaner.

The room was clean. I liked the variety of pillows on the bed. The bed was comfortable. I liked the view of the mountains and the river, but of course the busy road was in the way of that.

When it came time to leave, there were not enough luggage carts. Maybe they can have more and bring them out on really busy days and times like Sunday mornings. We ended up packing everything down from the third floor ourselves and making multiple trips. I was disappointed that the Jacuzzi was cold the second night. I had slipped on the ice in Leavenworth and it would’ve been so nice to come home and soak my muscles in the Jacuzzi. It was actually one of the reasons I chose Cedar Inn. The pool was actually warmer! Maybe during really busy mealtime someone could help the food prep gal? Maybe more lounge chairs in the waiting room?

The room and bed were clean and comfortable. The view from the room with a balcony was fantastic. I loved the 24 hour pool facilities - very clean and perfectly temperature controlled. The breakfast option were really fun, and the coffee was ready all day! The beautiful landscaping around the property is also worthy of note. Coin laundry machines on sight. Amazing location. I would come back again.

Be sure to keep the TV volume down at night, since the walls between rooms are a little thin.

In spite of smoke outside, our room and all facilities were untainted and air quality was excellent throughout. Even enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, and breakfast was ample and a great extra. Front desk staff were extremely courteous and helpful.

The pedestrian bridge to downtown restaurants was quite convenient, but poor signage made it challenging to find an easy route back to the hotel after dark. Sketchy parts of town along the River made it more worrisome and we walked an extra hour or so returning from an otherwise enjoyable evening out. City needs to do something about this situation, potentially unsafe for visitors!!!

We love just about everything. One of our favorite is warm cookies in the evening. We also love the breakfast. The mini waffles was a big hit.

The biggest issue for us was the temperature in the pool area. If your not in the pool you are dripping sweat. We should be able to sit in there and let our kids play without feel like I'm gonna pass out. I got so hot i felt sick. I also don't like the new sofa bed in my room. The couch itself was hard. The fabric is a bit rough.

There are SO many possitives here to list. We were driving down from BC to California and back staying in 10 or more motels along the way. Cedars Inn was a wonderful last motel on our journey! We stayed in rm 303 upstairs with Balcony and view of the Columbia River. The Room was clean, big and bright with king sized bed. The bed was firm and comfortable not a soft foam mattress which was great. There was a mini fridge, micro and good sized TV. There were several perks here that no other motel had ... free tea and coffee and popcorn in the lobby and free chocolate cookies after 7pm! A super little perk. Also there is guest laundry facilities a sm pool, free hot breakfast with waffles, eggs and sausage. Very friendly staff as well!! Thank you.

Everything was perfect for our overnight stay. The water pressure was a tiny bit low but overall fine.
