Inn of the Pines

I absolutely loved our stay and Jay at the front desk was an awesome guy. Our room had a hot tub and after long days ice fishing it was an unbelievable way to spend New Years. I was disappointed with the connect restaurant/bar. Beware we planned our stay according to our plans (New Years). We wanted a place to celebrate and not have to drive. The bar closed for “locals only” New Year’s Eve and did not have anything posted about being closed for anything except New Year’s Day. (To be expected) We were glad we asked if the restaurant and hotel had the same owner at dinner because they are not the same owner. We did not feel they welcome us (outsiders) as their mission statement states on their SEPARATE website. We WILL be going back to this hotel but will probably find other food and entertainment in the area. We spent our midnight toast 2023 using the Orange Juice we got for the next morning. Thank You -Jay for your impeccable service and bright personality you are a great guy and I love you and your wife.

Liked · The size of the room and the amenities were perfect. I liked the shower and the sink outside of the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and everything was quiet during the night. The restaurant was excellent!

service at on arrival and great motel worth it and there are new air conditioning lot of space for my boat parking and more i would like to come again i talk to my friend next time to they will be here with us and enjoying the motel and resturant and bar

We love coming to this motel. We love the feeling of being far away from everything. Totally worth the two hour drive for us.

The only thing we had wrong with our room, we found a dirty diaper stuffed behind one of the chairs.. I think when cleaning the staff should check everything. Something like that could definitely attract bugs…

Close to our family. Our heater/air conditioner was very noisy not too happy about the unit. The room was very large with 2 queen beds, nice bathroom, micro & refrige added convenience. Restaurant only served dinner no breakfast. Would stay again if needed. We also have land in Big Flats, but too early to open and start up the well.

needs to be clearer about where front office is. drove around building twice. check in guy stunk like booze.. singing songs.. smelled like body oder bad.. kept calling me honey and sweetheart. ended up not sleeping there.. did not feel safe

The owner was very freindly The king suite was Excellent It was quiet except th idiots that let their ddors slam to go smoke other wise excellent stay

The location and place is really clean. We wanted to eat at the restaurant but couldn't fit it into our schedule at the state trapshoot. Next year we will stay two nights instead of one.

The lights over the sink did not work.

We got caught up saying good bye to family at the Friendship Cafe for breakfast the day of check out so the staff gave us an extra half hour to do so!

I don't believe there was hair conditioner when we entered the room.

Clean. Northwoods nice.

Nothing. Hotel was perfect. Great value. One suggestion, coffee/tea available 24 hours a day in lobby or coffee/tea in room service.
