Hilton Garden Inn Wisconsin Dells

This Hilton Inn has a great location at the beginning of the Dells Parkway and you can walk to a few restaurants or take a short drive anywhere in the Dells. There’s an indoor pool and bar on site. The staff was great. There’s a coffee bar in the morning and a nice breakfast with stuff cooked to order. Breakfast is not included, but it’s only $13, which is totally reasonable for what you get. There’s plenty of parking for free. There’s also wifi, though I didn’t use it. The room wasn’t small, had a balcony, and a small living room area. I didn’t hear any loud noises at night, which is sometimes a problem at these vacation spots.

I have no complaints about the place. It’s a bit more expensive than other places nearby but I’m glad I paid more for a stay without problems.

We booked back in February 2022 for a wedding pricing was high, but we had a whirl pool tub room which was very nice but still seemed high and no breakfast was included we would have had to pay extra for breakfast. I feel like if you pay almost $300 per night that the breakfast should be included. I also think the tv remotes should be upgraded or batteries checked because it did not work well and there was only one remote to work both tvs.

The beds were super comfortable. The pool area was fantastic. I liked the little extras like the soaps, shampoos, laundry bag, etc.

The only thing I would like is to be told the dollar amount and to confirm the last four digits of the credit card number when I checked out. All the clerk said was, "You're all set!" I think it would be better if the customer is told the amount and the card that was used, just to be sure.

The bed was super comfortable. Our children/grandchildren were involved with softball tournaments and enjoyed the pool and lounge area to relax and chat with friends. We enjoyed the area for meeting new friends.

The lamps on the side of bed were too low from ceiling and I kept hitting my head when getting out of bed. Bathroom had a slight moldy smell around sink. The hotel is getting a remodel and these items will be remedied.

It was conveniently in the middle of everything. I liked that it was just a hotel with a pool that way I wasn’t held at doing a water park everyday during my stay. I also liked that it was walking distance to a lot of different activities and restaurants. The hotel was great as well. The staff there was cleaning on a regular bases. We stayed 3 nights and every night we saw staff cleaning the halls and rooms. The staff was also wonderful at regulating the pool. The first night there were some rambunctious children, and the staff came in and handled the situation without anyone complaining. They rectified it themselves. It was a nice vacation.

The only thing I could say which isn’t a big deal is the unsupervised children in the pool. Really in all honesty, it’s not the hotel’s fault. You need a room key to use the pool.

The breakfast has really good. We were greated with a smile every morning. There was a menu to order from and our choices were made to order. There was also a serve yourself area with juices oatmeal, waffles, toast,bagels etc. The room was huge. The first thing I noticed.... no musty/moldy smell. The carpet was barefoot clean. Plenty of towles, the little courtesies were neutrogena. The refrigerator was clean, dry and serviceable microwave as well. The beds were soft and squishy and the pillows too.

I know I have to say something about what I didn't like for everyone that may think this one of those " it cant be a real review so I'll say what could have been better... tv selections but who wants to watch tv on VACA.

My husband & I liked our room at Hilton Garden Inn in Wisconsin Dells, it was a fairly quiet room for being on the first floor and short walk to the side door to the other parking lot, pool, and front desk. We would have preferred a free breakfast w/ our stay, but for the $10.95 price a day , it was good . We also enjoyed the pool and outdoor whirlpool and the staff's attention to fixing our tv screen's brightness as well . Thank you!

A bit short staffed at breakfast time on weekends so we had to wait for getting our check taken care of

The hotel was very clean. We had a whirlpool room with a fireplace and the tub was super clean. We had plenty of towels and space. I also appreciated how quiet it was. This was a getaway stay for my boyfriend and I. Sometimes you hear hallway traffic or even outside traffic being near a main road. It was quiet and we could enjoy the balcony. I also really appreciated the Hilton honors app. Being able to check in and out on my phone and also accessing a digital key was super convenient and easy.

The beds were a bit hard and stiff, the pillows were flat. The shower had minimal water pressure and I felt as though I was showering in a child's sprinkler.

I love this hotel and location. Staff was so friendly! Smoke alarm went off at 4:30 a.m. which startled us but turned out someone was smoking in the hallway so not at all the hotel or staffs fault, but the gentleman at checkout apologized for the inconvenience. Second stay at this location and will definitely return in the future!

I have no negative thoughts about this property whatsoever!

clean property, nice staff, good room service, excellent amenities. the air/ heat unit stopped working in my room they weren’t able to resolve it while I was there during the stay but they did offer a room switch and discount on next time.
