Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Beloit, an IHG Hotel

We traveled to Beloit WI, for a mud run and stayed one night. Since we checked in early enough we went and explored downtown Beloit. Over all: We were happy with the hotel and delighted with the town of Beloit. Would we stay again: Yep

Breakfast was not served early enough, although we were told at check that since we needed to leave by 6:00 AM and breakfast is not served until 7:00 AM, if we stopped at the front desk when checking out, the front desk clerk would be able to grab us some of the pre-packaged foods to take with us. However, that was not the case. The front desk clerk at check out told us that she did not have access to the kitchen so we would need to wait until 7:00 when the kitchen clerk came in. However, we watched her bring out the coffee, so I didn't believe her. No worries though we stop at McDonald's and went on our way.

The location is fine. The rooms are large and and were very clean. We really liked the walk in shower.

The desk chair in our room was broken, the back would not adjust and it was tilted way too far back. The person at the front desk replaced it for us as soon as I called about it. The fitness room was a problem. There was no lock on the door. There was no sanitizer in the room to clean the equipment after use. There was no hand sanitizer. There was no source of water in the room. There was a good variety of equipment and free weights available.

at checkout the receptionist dismórfico give me a receipt. She said Booking.com would send it. That is not true, because the other hotel in Gainesville was booked with Booking.com and they gave us a receipt. I felt as though she did not go through motion of printing my receipt. I left very un satisfied.

We had to go thru construction to get to the hotel - we were able to check in early and start enjoying time with your friends and family.

There is no mirror outside of the bathroom, when you have two females you really need another mirror. There was a party in the area where you walk in (to the right). Apparently the cleaning crew hadnt arrived yet - when we went down for coffee there were beer cans, skoal containers, wine glasses, chairs everywhere .... very unseemly.

We had an over night stay, The hotel was new and very clean. The staff was very outgoing and helpful. Alot of people were staying at the hotel that night and we didn't hear a thing from other guest. The breakfast was hot and a variety of great choices. If you're staying in Beloit this is the place you should stay.

Nothing really I didn't like. The hotel way exceeded my expectations.

The room was spacious and everything seemed clean and well maintained. There was a good variety of breakfast options and the staff were friendly and willing to help.

Not the property’s fault - but Uber / Lyft in the area is almost non existent.

From the minute we walked in the door, Chelsea and Brandon we on it in a big way. They are definitely customer oriented and were most probably selected for their front desk positions for their competence and ebullient personalities. They were so helpful to us getting in and settled and set up for our stay with their directions, travel guidance, shopping referrals, heavy luggage cart maneuvering and dining recommendations. We have some handicap-able issues and they made our check-in easy and a true joy and led to a wonderful nights stay. We wanted to take them out to dinner and repay their strong efforts to make our stay such a pleasure. We’re staying at nothing but HIE&S’s from now on during our 6 week cross country trip. The employment manager who hired Chelsea and Brandon should get promoted!

Bed was comfortable. Room decor was attractive, and the view from the window was nice.

Walls were thin -- I could hear kids running around in the halls at all hours. Someone closed a door and I thought they were coming into my room.

The staff when we checked in were very knowledgeable and friendly. The location was great! Everything was so clean! Bed was comfortable and bathroom was nice. The breakfast was fresh, delicious, plentiful and the area was clean.

Front desk personnel was great. Very friendly and helpful. Abdel was great at the front desk.

Breakfast was bad. I have stayed in many Holiday Inn’s and this was the only one that disappointed with it’s kitchen staff.
