Spacious rooms in a well-planned property. The staff is warm and welcoming especially housekeeping. We had 124 and 212 with 124 a suite with a living room. The 212 was smaller but fine. We had a swim meet nearby so hotel filled with young swimmers yet everyone was well behaved and quiet. I'd recommend this hotel to family and friends. If there's a swim meet you might find the hotel full.
The first floor (literally the floor) was cold and must have been built on a concrete footer. And, of course, the weather was typical Wisconsin February with below Zero with winds. Do not recommend the first floor in cold weather. Comfortable to sleep but you need socks or slippers in winter. My wife didn't like the shower, but I thought it was okay.

Location was great. Free parking. The whole hotel is undergoing total renovation. The front desk staff was great. Check-in was easy. They had four luggage carts waiting to be used. We had a king suite with a comfortable bed and pillows.
The lighting in the entire space was dim, especially in the sink/bathroom area. My wife was unable to apply her makeup it was so dark. Even in the main living area, there were only two table lamps. The whole room needs more light.

Everything was really nice.
The young man that waited on us in the restaraunt Fri evening was very nice but when he brought me my tab for two drinks it came to $23. I gave him 2 $20's because that's all I had. Instead of saying ill be right back with your change, he said thanks for the nice tip. Which forced me to say... I was wanting some change. $17 tip is a bit much for 2 drinks. But I did give him $10 because he was very nice. Everything else was great. The lady bartender was the greatest. She's an asset. Thank you

The breakfast was great! The pool, hot tub and marketplace were big hits with our family too.
The construction surrounding the building made it a bit tricky to enter from the main road, but that is a short term issue.

The rigidity of entering the restaurant ir pool area was a bit much. The front desk people were welcoming. The complimentary coffee was hard for them to keep up, which was a bad thing for us coffee drinkers.
