Hampton Inn & Suites Madison - West

We are late sleepers and we were pleasantly surprised that the breakfast was fully stocked even in the last half hour before it ended. The kitchen crew did an incredible job and even gave me a tray each day so that I could carry multiple plates and cups back to the room. The pool was the reason we booked this hotel and it did not disappoint! Our almost 2 year old daughter had a blast! We loved the splash park and the fact there was so much shallow water. The ramp into the pool is perfect for accessibility. Excellent job!!

The only negative was the mattress was firm for our taste and a little loud when first getting in. The room was amazing though, plenty of space for our toddler, including the pack and play that the hotel provided upon request. I worked a couple of days from the room and the wifi was excellent and the desk chair was very comfortable.

The guys who were working the front desk when we checked in at night were AMAZING! They were genuinely friendly, helpful and interacted with us in a way that felt like we were being taken care of instead of simply checked in. I also purchased a drink later from the snack area and the gentleman who was helping me made a note to grab me a becerage that was more cold because he had just stocked the fridge. Details like that made this stay remarkable.

The pool area was very loud. I don't know if that is something you are able to fix, but it was hard to enjoy the pool experience because of how loud it was.

The location was perfect because it was literally just a few minutes away from friends and family members. My bedroom was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. I also had a really nice view and decided to take a picture of the outdoors using my iPhone. I will definitely be returning because I had a great experience.

The breakfast was limited. It would have been nice to have other meat options, such as turkey sausage or turkey bacon and even potatoes. Having to go downstairs to purchase snacks in the main lobby was a bummer because there were no vending machines on the floors, not even for beverages.

Quick check in and out, gracious front desk staff, nice touch to send text to check on how our room was, a spacious King Suite room which was an upgrade from Genius. Thank you! Close to Hwy. 12 so easy access to continue our journey home the next morning. We received a 15 percent off coupon from the Hilton Hamilton for use at the Bonefish grill which was a short drive away. Dinner was delicious and I was able to make dinner reservations online.

No hair dryer in room which staff did get from another room. I wondered if dryer is wiped down after use as it was transported in a cloth bag/portable. TV probably needs to be replaced as there were several golf size spots that showed on all stations, including the Masters that my husband was watching. Lol.

Everything we experienced at this property was very nice. Our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable.The breakfast was the best we’ve seen in hotels that offer free breakfast. The room and bathroom were very clean. I would give high marks to the housekeeping staff.

No complaints at all. I didn’t get to experience the pool or the exercise facilities as I was in Madison for outpatient surgery.

Great selections for breakfast. I had requested extra pillows and a box fan. I had called 30 minutes prior to my arrival and everything was in the room.

Was excited to have pool features for my 4 year old daughter. Unfortunately after Friday they no longer were operating. The beds were hard and the pillows no support. Took 3-4 pillows to create one.

Great staff! Awesome breakfast! Fabulous pool! Good location to Henry Vilas zoo and other kid attractions. Very clean and well maintained facility. Would definitely come again. 👍🏻👍🏻 ☺️

The pool was awesome, however, the pool deck was very slippery. The pool floor was rough. We had a skinned knee. 😒

It was clean and attractive. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. The bathroom was nice.

The outlet near the phone by the bed didn't work so my phone was not charged for the day. This was a big inconvenience. Also, it would be desirable to be able to close the drapes besides the shade. There was not much removal of moisture from the shower.

The room were very large! The bathroom was large as well and clean. It was well stocked worth all the things we needed. The room was clean and extremely comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to meet our needs, friendly and professional. I'll visit again.

They don't have microwaves in rooms anymore, only if you get a suite. Rooms are only cleaned if requested. I'm assuming it's due to the pandemic but I could be wrong. There was only one rolling computer chair to sit in. There were no other chairs to sit in. Usually there's at least one upholstered chair to sit on.

This was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at, and we travel a lot. Clean, affordable, friendly and professional staff, comfortable and clean room, and an amazing breakfast! Great location.

I just have a personal preference for thick pillows, and the pillows were quite thin.
