Super 8 by Wyndham Madison South

my husband and I stopped here last minute on our drive from North Dakota to Chicago. it was very cheap I was surprised at the rates which of course made me very happy. I was slightly worried about the condition of the building because of how low the rates were, but to my surprise it was wonderful the woman who checked me in was so sweet and so funny very welcoming. the room was absolutely perfect it was clean it smelled fresh my sheets were fresh. the location was not too far from major highways in and out of the city and very easy to find. the complimentary breakfast was very good compared to other hotels I've stayed in that were much more expensive my husband and I enjoyed it very much. overall would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family everything was up to par however the staff being so welcoming and enjoyable really pushed it over the edge for me. a thank you to that woman that was working that night she started my vacation out on an amazing note I appreciate you very much you definitely have a great heart! ❤️ p.s. to my surprise one of your promoters plays tormund in the game of thrones series on HBO which made this branch of hotels my new favorite 😂❤️❤️

It was nice that the hotel has a pool and hot tub. The front desk were friendly and told me the distance of things we wanted to do, it was very helpful. Online I asked the hotel for early arrival, top floor, and late checkout. The accommodated with every request.

I don't understand why hotels serve breakfast from 6:00 to 9:00. I am on vacation and would like to sleep until 9:00ish If checkout is at 11:00, why not serve breakfast until 10:00.

I actually requested to be moved to a different room TWICE and the staff accommodated me and I ended up in an awesome room. They were very friendly to my little dog also.

I've stayed at this hotel a few different times and it is a good value. The staff has always been nice. HOWEVER, every time I stay there there's a crowd of people smoking at the back exit, and it is dirty, and a ton a litter, and a couple of cars undergoing repairs... I feel the exterior property needs to be cleaned A LOT better and they need to pick up the trash that is all over the place.

The food wasn’t that good compared to other hotels

Wyndham prides themselves on being the best. If they’re going to buy up all this little hotels they need to clean them up. Make them more inviting not scary. Lights were dim bedding dark doorways in hall dark and chipped up carpets old. Just stand by your word of being the best

I like the nice hot whirlpool..thats a plus..Good Atmosphere, good location for the most part. Clean rooms, housekeeping was great.. nice hot shower. Over all experience was good .

I wanted to take a bath, no plug .Had to take shower, I have a fear of falling. Door stuck so I had to push firmly to open. Card, took several times to open door. Housekeeper walked in on us, by mistake. It's ok though.

it’s quite and staff is friendly, breakfast was great

the pool was dirty there were bandaids in the pool hair dirt. the hot tub was nasty the floor is coming up and you see the dirty from that floating in the hottub the water looks green like they just pour bleach in it to clean

clean and the air conditioner was excellent I will stay 2 weeks more I will let you know in general but till now Great option in price and location

No negative for me if I want better I should go to a 5 stars

I love the friendly staff friendly from front door to the cleaning/janitorial staff. I love the indoor whirlpool and pool. Breakfast is awesome & very filling.

Nothing Everything was great.

Breakfast was fair very limited choices the biscuits and gravy were cold not the best but fair breakfast

Cleaning service was below average I kept asking the front desk and the head maid to please clean my room just to return to a room that wasn’t touched

Location was excellent. The room was so beautiful and very clean. we were so very pleasantly surprised. the pool and hot tub were great after being on feet all day at the Garden Expo. I would definitely recommend.

the hairdryer in the room was missing the protective guard over the fan and it sucked my hair into the fan. Breakfast was mostly starch.
