Baymont by Wyndham Madison

The location is convenient. We found out later they actually had a shuttle bus that would have taken us downtown but we did not find that out until the following day. It would have been extremely helpful had we known that upon check in! It feels like you are in a residential neighborhood but it is actually close to the beltway. Felt very safe and the hotel was secure with a variety of key scanners to the different sections of the hotel i.e. pool and fitness room, outdoor entrances! The breakfast area was busy and some people chose to take it back to their room because there was not a lot of seating but adequate food and selection.

This hotel was by far the best hotel I stayed at in a long time and I do stay in hotels quite often because of my job. I would rank this hotel above so called higher end hotels like Hilton

I certainly don’t expect my room to be cleaned every day on a extended stay but it would have been nice if the trash could have been picked up. Also hallway noise can be heard very easily as most nights I could hear children running and screaming in the hallways.

Liked the size and modern look of the room, The attention and courtesy of the check in people answered any questions and issues with courtesy was very nice to have.

The breakfast was just warm and had to wait for more food to be put out. Were quite a few people waiting. and the people who were eating were done and just talking possibly waiting for some food also. Only had 1 choice of fruit because that was all gone also. So breakfast was a disappointment.

The staff was excellent from the check in to the checkout. The front desk could probably us a bit more help during busy days especially since the rooms were more expensive. I noticed the lobby rugs had spill stains on them when we checked in but the next morning they were being cleaned and they looked great.

It would have been really nice to have an additional full length mirror in the room. Is there a reason why there are no sugar free pop options in the machines? These are not huge items but nice to have.

Breakfast was fine, bathroom was bright and clean. Nice hot tub.

The demographic of guests was surprisingly sketchy which unfortunately made things a little uncomfortable. Did not expect this at an otherwise very nice hotel. Also, the first room we were given a key for we opened the door and someone was in there already, so that was a little unsettling thinking that could possibly happen to us being the ones being walked in on.

Comfortable and good location. Check in and check out was quick. The price was decent.

Was told breakfast was from 7-10 arrived at 9:15 everything was gone and cleaned up. The shower needs a bit of maintenance, the caulk lines are badly cracked and rusted/moldy. Cleanliness of glass and shiny surfaces streaky and very spotty/ dirty, like it was wiped with a dirty towel. Snow plowing outside was very loud at 1-2 AM.

I like how the location was perfect and how the hotel was set up. Wow everything was easy to find the pool, the front desk and our room. The air conditioning was great and the staff were very friendly, and they worked very hard. Nice decor as well.

The room had some hair in certain spots, and the showerhead was a little dirty. The Buffet could have been better. 

Great price, which I received just a day before my stay. Friendly and helpful staff. I got in late and asked if I could have a late check-out, as in 1:00 p.m. (since I had a few meeting’s to attend online). The gentleman at the desk said definitively “Yes” and noted that for the day staff. He also gave me a complete run-down on the pool hours, which I expressed an interest in. I called him from the room a short time later to mention that a leg on a table was damaged (tilted). A service man came to the room mid-morning to fix it. (I asked him if he might do that after my departure, since I had meetings to attend, and he said “absolutely.”). Because of my meetings, I missed breakfast by about 30 minutes. When I came downstairs at 9:30 to see if there was still something I might find besides coffee, the gentleman in the preparatory room let me grab a plate with some leftovers I could warm up (eggs & potatoes) along with a yogurt & orange. When I finally turned in my keys at 1:15, the new staff at the front desk remained absolutely friendly. Is this my kind of hotel that I would return to? It certainly is.

The room could have used a smaller (second) chair for the desk/table.

The breakfast is AMAZING !! Plenty of variety for both kids & adults. Facilities were very clean. Pool is well kept and water was the perfect temperature. Stayed here on a Friday as a halfway point on a trip then again on a Sunday for the same reason and it was consistent both stays. Love that they have Dove products in the bathrooms as well

nice lighting in room and nice bathroom. decent seating and clean looking. Mattress was soft.

the walls on the third floor appeared to have been scrapped by somebody and it looks like they dented the door frames. our bathroom door didn’t latch correctly but did stay when closed which was good. breakfast was ok but they didn’t seem prepared for such a busy weekend so not a lot of choices and beverages ran out. Second bed was crammed up against the ac unit which wasn’t very comfortable.
