The hotel was clean and the staff that we interacted with were nice. Breakfast was pretty good as well with a good selection of food.

This hotel was a little too foo foo for my taste. It felt like if one was to say the wrong thing, an all out riot would break out and their car would be looted and burned. This feeling did not come from the staff but instead the people who stayed at this location. If you prefer socialism, I think you'll be able to find many people of your kind here.

The room was clean and well stocked with towels and toilet paper. We loved the amenities in the room with refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, stove, and dishes. The front desk manager was very accommodating to help us with our reservation trouble. We were very pleased overall.

The breakfast was awful. The eggs were rubbery and had no taste at all. The waffle machine was not the best. The coffee was weak. It was a poor offering.

Great hotel, really helpful staff and great amenities. Room was clean and comfy. Would definitely stay again if passing through Madison.

Not a deal breaker but the top sheet was too small foe the bed and did not hang over the sides making it hard to share the bed without someone getting cold. It seemed like a mattress protector style bottom sheet without the elastic. Like I say, it was an odd yet minor thing and ultimately did not detract from our stay.

The staff was super friendly and check in was quick. I like the fact that the people at the front desk texted me asking how I liked the room. My upstairs neighbors seemed to be having a party and I was able to text the front desk. They had the situation handled in 15 minutes.

The only thing that was annoying is that there was no fan on the ac/heater. I'm used to hotels that have a fan setting. Super minor inconvenience though. It would not keep me from staying again.

I loved the cleanliness, the gym, the available fruits, coffee and tea in the lobby free of charge all day long. Very thoughtful. Big parking lot. Convenient shopping area nearby.

Breakfast variety. Would have preferred more meats or cheese, they only offered one kind daily which is fine for 1or 2 nights, but I stayed 6.

Check in was easy, room was clean, breakfast is awesome

A week ago I spent the night in the same hotel, booked with booking, checked in and out at the same time. Last week they had no issues printing me off an itemized receipt to submit for expenses with my work. This time the front desk attendant didn't even try when I asked. She didn't even touch the computer. Just told me I'd have to wait for booking to send it.

Michelle checked me in and was so friendly and texted to be certain my room was okay and reminded me that if i needed anything to just ask

When i went to check out there was no one at the desk. I looked thru kitchen door and asked if anyone could help me. Young woman said “oh guess that’s me.” And didn’t utter another word whole time but did roll her eyes”. Rude

Breakfast was perfect for us. It had a good variety and met our needs perfectly. The location was excellent for our needs to be close to our daughter’s home and to the event we attended in Verona.

We were pleasantly surprised as this was our first stay at Tru, but won’t be our last.

Very Clean it was Great!

You need to let when they book that the pet charge was $75.00 . We had no idea till we checked in! We have a 7lb yorkie I was not going to stay but we had been on the road so didn’t want to look for something else!! The Room charge was only like 125-130 before taxes

Lauren checked me in and was very sweet and informative regarding amenities. The room was quite cheerful and accommodating. It is on the small size but I was only there to really sleep & shower so it was perfect. I loved the walk-in shower and the soap/shampoo/lotion containers! I also liked the black out shade vs the gaudy curtains in other hotels. Oh! One other thing I really appreciated was the outlet in the bathroom had a nightlight in it!! Perfect!!

Just a couple of minor things that as I am getting a bit older & have arthritis in my hands I found the soap/lotion containers at the the bathroom sink to be a tad difficult to use but I Love the idea! It could be because I’m short that made them a bit hard to manage but I did! The ones in the shower were fine & I liked the idea of not having to lug my own bottles in there. Oh and an exhaust fan would be nice. The only other thing was I wish the reading lights by the bed were a little more dimmable and that there was a switch on both sides of the bed instead of just one side.
