Best Western Plus Milwaukee Airport Hotel & Conference Center

This was my second night of two: Rooms close to Hot tub / Pool / Gym areas, and convenient location right outside of Milwaukee. However, it is the outstanding staff that keeps me coming back to this location. Despite being understaffed each time I have visited, the team across all three shifts has shown a willingness to work together and get it done for the customer. I greatly appreciate the positive attitude shown by everyone. Vanessa, Hayley, Erica, and Antonio were fantastic though I had the most experience with Lexi and Heather who were beyond amazing, being always more than willing to offer a smile or help however possible. Thank you for all the patience and dedicated service to your customer.

Staffing was insufficient (which effected breakfast) but I do not hold it against the great employees I interacted with and will return!

This was the first night of a second two night stay I had at this hotel. Though there were continued Staffing issues, the team of Lexi and Heather were amazing to cover 2nd and third shift, while Vanessa, Hayley, and the morning staff did everything they could to keep pace with the support they had. I again am very thankful to be able to interact with such great people willing to provide a high level of service through their own unexpected challenges.

Staffing issues remained, putting stress on the dedicated workers willing to go the extra mile!

Cassandra at the front desk was extraordinary. When I wanted to change rooms upon arrival with half of my things already in the room,it was a no problem attitude of kindness. She even offered help with getting my things to the new room. The breakfast attendants were also great both days. The morning reception lady was also very helpful. I needed the window shade unstuck and she had someone there in minutes.

The fitness equipment didn't all seem to work. I didn't have time to ask for help. I was trying to get a quick workout in before a meeting. The next day I swam laps in the pool for exercise instead. It's a nice indoor pool area.I dropped and broke a glass bottle in the bathroom by mistake and told a housekeeper who was mopping in the hall. She said she'd have to call a supervisor. I came back that night and the broken glass was still on the floor. That was disappointing.

The breakfast host was a very enthusiastic individual and very inviting. It was a good way to start the day. It would have been to identify what type of meat were the sausages. While I assumed that it was pork, I think I missed the sausages, which looked otherwise tempting, if they were beef. The waffles were a good option as a warm breakfast. While there were fountains on the property, management should consider a free bottle of water for guests in the rooms.

Our hotel room was located very near the pool. While I did enjoy the proximity of the hotel room to the pool, there was a large group of guests using the pool fairly early in the morning (6-7 am-ish) who were rather noisy. This is obviously not necessarily a hotel's fault, but there should have been a sign or an attendant reminding pool users to respect guests around the area.

The team has been outstanding overall having to deal with unexpected challenges not only from staffing but also other customers. Again, Vanessa, Hayley, Lexi, and Heather have been there all of my visits and have not waivered in their dedication to great customer service.

Neighbor of mine was a bit scary this time, but there is a door divider ;) . Staffing trouble remains but the positive attitude of the dedicated staff outweighs their inconvenience!

The swimming pool facilities looked well upkept and nice, I unfortunately was not here very long to enjoy them. The location to the airport was ideal, I had a 17 hour delayed flight overnight and needed a last minute hotel. This one was affordable, the location was great. They had a shuttle service that picked me up and dropped me off at the airport. Free breakfast (waffle - yum). Quick and efficient check-in process.

The hotel was a little confusing to find my room. I wondered out past the pool and eventually found an elevator and made it to my room but it would have been nice to have a map maybe, or a little bit better directions.

The staff was extremely friendly. no matter where you were in the motel, you saw staff smiling, cleaning, answering a question. The breakfast was a full breakfast, and very good. Staff in the dining area were so friendly. The pool and hot tub were relaxing at the end of the day were relaxing.

I had requested a first floor room due to mobility issues. my room was on the 3rd floor, quite a distance from the lobby/breakfast. I did not request a handicapped room as there are ppl less mobile than I. Additionally, there were no extra blankets or pillows available.

The room was clean and comfortable, if not the most high-tech. The bathroom was fine, except the bath water knob was ridiculously hard to turn on - you had to pull it, and you thought you might break it. But once you figured it out, the shower was hot, plenty of water pressure, and set at a good height. The pool was fine; the hot tub was not very hot but relaxing. The staff was great, very helpful and accommodating. The front reception area is nice and comfortable. The shuttle service was excellent. They have very reasonable extended parking service rates, which was fantastic - so convenient!

There wasn't much not to like. Yeah, the water knob was a bit wonky, but not that horribly bad. The front desk snack area was kind of cramped and not particularly well-stocked, but it had the basics and such.

The rooms were very spacious. The bathrooms were clean and had a fan. The water pressure was very strong and the hot water was instant. The business table they have in the room was big enough to work and eat on and they had a very comfortable office chair. The pool was fun to see with people and kids swimming. The best part was the breakfast. First time in a long time that I’ve seen a hotel have BACON. Bacon, Scramble Eggs, Sausage and Toast. I ate so much Bacon.

All the water dispensers in the hotel were empty. there is one public water fountain in the pool area but it’s a little dirty so I didn’t use it. The pool area was a little noisy but after like 9pm people were in their rooms.

Awesome amenities. Great pool, jacuzzi and pool side area. The beds are comfortable and the blankets are thick. Hot breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage and waffles amongst other grab and go options. Staff was super nice and helpful as my 87 year old grandmother locked herself out of the room when I was not there and the staff let her back in without a hassle even though her name was not on the room. Very nice people.Very accommodating. Our room was handicap accessible and had a shower chair in the closet. Super bonus if traveling with older family members. One of the better options in the area. Location was across the street from a great Mexican Restaurant with an awesome bar area. The hotel bar was also very nice and the staff treated my grandmother like a VIP. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Milwaukee.

I the area is a bit sketchy but not too bad. Pillows in the room were a little hard. No real complaints.
