Motel 6-Oak Creek, WI

I loved that there are no carpets, most motels & hotels have carpeting that is dusty, & smelly. Motel 6 has hardwood floors, great for people with allergies to dust, the floors were CLEAN. The access to a great restaurant steak house ''The Brand'' I believe, & Speedway make for good eating. The night staff ''Liz'' is very nice, they were all pleasant people. We started staying at Motel 6 in 2011, we came to Milwaukee with our 3 cats going to the veterinarian and will be staying again.

No refrigerator in the snack room on first floor. The housekeeping staff could be larger, running out of tissue, is not a good thing, but Speedway is right across the intersection, which helps. That's about it. Including tax in prices helps the customer figure out total cost without surprises. Knowing up front is best.

Very nice hotel they work really hard to keep the place clean but I especially like is the rooms have a luxury flooring not carpet and they have modern up-to-date furnishings and everything is very clean. The hotel looks kind of like a remodel the bathrooms look up to date not kind of weird looking or anything and it was very nice.

I’m a elderly woman and had a house fire I was iffy about staying here but the front desk staff reassured me I have no worries and that I would be safe. I ended up extending I haven’t ever seen a room as clean as mine or such friendly staff & people in a place it’s great to see that now a days. Very hard working people here.

I liked the responsiveness of staff, very helpful! Nice bed. Very clean.

Well, sub-par coffee & only regular roast ( not incl. Decaf). That is very outdated now! Another thing I'd like are a couple of benches not far from the door. People meeting someone or waiting for their Lyft have no place to sit, out front!

Coffee in the morning! Room was nice great ac unit kept us nice and cool in the hot heat. Staff was friendly & helpful!

Could use new carpet in hallways other than that building was very nicely cleaned and kept up by staff thru out the day and night!

Staff was very friendly. The poor front desk guy was alone but made us feel very welcome

The bathroom door in 1 room wouldn't open from the inside, thankfully no one was alone in the room. We reserved 2 king rooms & 2 twin rooms but only got 1 king, we made it work. The smoke detector in 1 of the rooms was sitting on the table without a battery.

The staff and house keeping wonderful people. Very respectful and understanding and mean well. Vanessa ,Kiki, Jose, poncho are wonderful people and is very professional. House keeping do they Thang keep me with sheets my mother love it here she 66 year old her name is Shirley we are homeless but the team you guy's built here is phenomenon. Love you guys and thank you for allowing us to be here Her Daughter

The receptionist was helpful. Very large parking lot even for commercial (large) vehicles. Quite area good to relax.

The big outside signage could have been raised a little higher because nearby hotels and other taller buildings are shielding the visibility of Motels 6 signage from afar.

Even though there were few items missing or not enough in my room. The front desk lady Tanya was very nice to get me the stuff. She was very friendly. That's make a better experience to stay in the place.

The shower head was not working properly. There was a weird smell around the sink like something crawl in and die in there. There was no garbage bin, shampoo or hangers in my room. Also I booked with 3 adults staying. There was only 1 set of towel.

The person at the desk was so kind and helpful. There was a snag with our reservation (error of the booking site not he hotel) that she quickly resolved.

No mini fridge or microwave in room.
