White Lace Inn

The owners have had a long track record of caring for their property. The Victorian theme was carried throughout the furnishings which were top notch. We stayed is a suite which included a jacuzzi, a bedroom, bath, and TV or sofa room. The ante room in our building had a Keurig coffee machine which was nice to use in the morning as well as an ice dispenser and a nice selection of all kinds of tea. The breakfasts in the morning were well-prepared and definitely a step above the usual breakfasts we were used to at your usual motels. The parlor room included a piano and a guitar for those that wanted to use them. The service staff was extremely friendly and helpful. A delightful stay!

We absolutely loved our stay! The main house was beautiful inside, so many lovely touches! The decor was very true to the victorian style, and a lot of it was original to the house. The house we were in was adjacent, and just as cute. There was a gorgeous garden in the middle of the two houses, with apple trees and a pond. Very well maintained and lovingly cared for. We were served breakfast in the morning at the main house, homemade and delicious. All the staff (the owners) were lovely and accommodating. I cannot say enough good things about our stay, and we will definitely be coming back in the future.

Honestly, nothing. The experience far exceeded my expectations. I was thrilled with this trip as it was my first experience with a B&B.

Very nice surprise staying at the White Lace Inn. Very comfortable and charming room located in the Guest House. Because of the rainy weather during our stay, we were not able to enjoy the gardens and outdoor spaces which looked so inviting. Breakfast was amazing and the owners were great. Location is great with only two blocks to get to the downtown shops and restaurants.

Weather kept us from enjoying the grounds and a bit too warm to start the fire in the fireplace in our room. This would be great in the colder months.

The breakfast was awesome! the perfect portion that didn't feel too heavy and got us fueled up for the day of visiting state parks. I also loved being greeted by a full pot of coffee in the morning, and let other travelers know to definitely get the cranberry-orange juice mix.

There was nothing I did not like. The fireplace was cozy, and the bathroom was clean. The bed was also extremely comfortable. For the cost that we payed per night I could not have asked for better accommodations, and as a bonus it was so much more of an experience than a hotel.

The breakfasts were plentiful and tasty and varied during the three mornings of our stay. I had stayed at the White Lace Inn and had fond memories of it from that visit 23 years ago. The images remained with me as well as the warm reception of Dennis and his family. I was anxious to return one day and we were able to fulfill that during our recent tour of Michigan, the UP and Wisconsin. I'll look for a reason to return some day. Our room was spacious, clean and nicely appointed. I was pleased with having the sitting chairs and roominess of the suite room we had. The WLI is quite convenient to getting around Sturgeon Bay and for exploring Door County.

I like the Inn as it is. That said, as with everything you can always improve here and there. However, whatever those things are I missed them!

The White Lace Inn exceeded all of our expectations. The homes the inn encompasses are beautifully maintained with love and furnished with exquisite pieces of furniture. The room itself was more spacious than we expected it to be, containing a full sitting room and two fireplaces. The host (Dennis) was very friendly and great to talk to, he really made us feel at home. The breakfast was the icing on the cake, a blueberry and pear cheesecake-french-toast with sides of locally made sausage and cranberry poached pears. It is hard to beat the location, being a block away from the main street through downtown.

I wish we could've stayed for longer!

the room was perfect, the breakfasts were light but creative, warm and delicious and the grounds are well maintained and gorgeous

I will always prefer coffee available in my room, i know its not a bb standard and that is one thing that often leads me to pick a standard hotel

The room was very charming and private. I loved the furniture and decor. It was like being transported to a romantic cottage. Very large room with a beautiful fireplace, spa tub, and lovely patio with seating for 2.

There wasn't enough lighting near the spa tub to create the ambiance I was looking for.

Cute and charming! Short walk across the parking lot for breakfast, which was different each day. Friendly owner. Cozy room with a nice hot shower! Just over the water in Sturgeon Bay, and a short drive to everywhere we wanted to go.

Didn't get to try out the fireplace (but that was really our fault as we were too busy!)

It was a beautiful property with four old homes and a common yard with gorgeous flowers in a very convenient area. The rooms were large, the bed so comfortable, a huge bathroom with fireplace (would be so nice in the colder months) and a delicious breakfast.
