Best Western Plus Wausau Tower Inn

Pleasant staff. Cleanliness. Affordable. Comfortable bed. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Room already cooled upon arrival. Plenty of body wash, and shampoo/conditioner provided. Great location...near all. Accomodations to late check out. Bar with great menu. Large window view.

Although there were options, the breakfast was missing basics...such as bananas/oranges, potatoes, bacon or sausage, and bagels/cream cheese. Maybe stay open till 10 am? The cloth chair in our room visibly had stains.

it was quiet and convenient

one of the staff members, I think her name was dede or cece, was very unprofessional. I went up to the front to voice a concern about my booking and she was standing there playing solitaire. I got quiet she looked up and said I’m listening and went back to playing her game. I was stunned at how being the face of the hotel she thought that was ok and appropriate. She didn’t take care of my concern. I was also suppose to get a call from the manager 3 different times about the same issue and a refund I was suppose to get and I never got the call or the refund. the staff does not follow through with their guests.

The staff is one of the kindest people I’ve encountered in a hotel setting. They greeted me with a big smile and were super accommodating. Because of their flexibility, allowing us to check in early and check out late, we were able to accomplished what we were there for. Thanks a million Best Western Plus Wausau Tower! Location was also great, close to everything we needed.

Wish there was a swimming pool but not a deal breaker.

The staff was extremely friendly. The bed was extremely comfortable. They had a bar and food available.

The breakfast attendant did not show up for work. That required the front desk clerk to scurry and try to get breakfast prepared while watching the front desk at the same time. He called his manager who came in to help. Some customers did not get breakfast which was supposed to be included. This was not the hotel's fault. They did the best they could for the situation.

The staff was very pleasant, the room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. Their was a recumbent bike in the room which I have never seen before but liked very much.

The overwhelming smell of cleaning products on the level and there was a used washcloth in our shower. The bathroom could have also used a coat of paint on the ceiling.

Easy to get to. Close to other businesses. Cool retro design. Bed comfortable Staff was super super super.

Room was a bit grungy. Dust on most surfaces and bathroom floor wasnt clean. Overall could have used a thorough cleaning. Stairwells smelled . Odor from lower level permeated up like there was a dumpster in the area/ Maintenance areas not separated.

it was in a nice and convenient location and I enjoyed the breakfast as well as our room.

the elevators were broken and the new apartment blocks the view. also I felt like the breakfast was more limited than other best westerns I’ve been to.

The room was very nice. Bed was very comfortable. Did not hear too much of the construction going on right next door. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

The bathroom flooded a little because the shower curtain wasn't long enough and/or the shower basewall wasn't high enough.

I appreciated the staffs’ friendliness and willingness to get breakfast ready earlier on Saturday 10/16/2021 when some of us requested it. (There was cycling event early that morning and myself and others were able to eat before getting to the event.)

The front door to the building was too difficult to open. The automatic button was not functioning either.

Came to Wausau for the Bill Falls Blues Festival. Location was great, very friendly people, comfortable room. It was nice that they were on the shuttle line and offered breakfast.
