Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Wausau

Booking.com did not reserve my room. I had to pay for another room, yet was charge by booking.com for the room they never reserved. The hotel and staff were excellent, booking.com was the issue. All these years of using you as my vacation search for motels and more, may no longer happen, if charges for the room we did not get reserved by booking.com, show up on my credit card. I wrote to booking on the day this took place

Pool Area and Jacuzzi were clean. Our room was very spacious. The staff was awesome: helpful, friendly, and professional! The General Manager was attentive and took care of a tv issue right away. The night shift front desk gal had great customer service and just a really pleasant demeanor. Even my teenager told me how wonderful she was when he needed her help. Great team up there! we have a season pass for Granite peak and this is our second time staying here. we have stayed at 5 other hotels and have decided this is the best one!

Stayed on the second floor but there was no elevator.

The hotel and staff were great! Rooms were clean and so was the pool area. The location is within walking distance to so many food options! The room had a microwave and refrigerator as well for leftovers! The hot tub was definitely HOT, which was nice after a day at Granite Peak (which was a short drive away!)

My only negative (please note:I DID know this upon booking) the hotel does not have an elevator. However, you have the option to request floor 1 or 2. We chose 2, therefore "chose" to take the stairs... 😂

They took safety precautions of Covid-19 and handed out a bagged breakfast. This was a nice touch instead of just canceling breakfast like another place I have stayed recently. I liked that they kept the pool and spa facilities monitored for safety of guests as well.

When I arrived after check-in time, my room was not ready when I entered it. There was a dirty washcloth on the bed and post it notes from the maid all over the bathroom sink and counter.

The courtesy of the staff was outstanding. The room had everything we needed. As a bonus, the hotel is right next to a very nice walking/biking path.

Stayed here. A few times. Staff is always been friendly rooms have always been clean. Thank you.

I stayed in room #210 the door barely latches. You can see through the door in the jam not very  secure

Because of Covid-19 the regular breakfast was unavailable, but the substitute meal to be consumed in the room was not very good for a diabetic so I had to go out to a diner for breakfast. The coffee was much appreciated, but the fresh fruit was missed. The room was very clean, comfortable, quiet, and the staff was very friendly

The only thing I was a bit unhappy about was I didn't have access to the pool or spa area without any explanation, even if it was the Covid-19 spike in cases it should have been posted or explained upon check in, as was the explanation of the breakfast.

proximity to our family and rib mountain, the beds and pillows were the comfiest I have had at a hotel, and I’ve been doing a lot of traveling over the past two years.

grumpy front desk worker (male with short hair), front desk worker with glasses was very nice advised phone in room didn’t work, his response was use the one in the lobby … advised TV remote and TV not working said they are all different to play with the TV

Breakfast- prepackaged items were tasty but maybe you could offer a choice of a boiled egg or egg, bacon and cheese biscuit. Those can be purchased prepackaged. Really liked having coffee in the room. Thankful for the microwave and refrigerator.

I felt the halloween decoration were too much. Fall decorations would have been pleasant rather than spiders and creepy stuff surrounding me. The person checking us un should greet guests with " hello, welcome to wyndham Hotel". Do you have a reservation I can look up?" What we got was" name and reservation?"
