Ramkota Hotel - Casper

The wait staff in the bar was AMAZING, Lindsey did a great job :) She was friendly and remembered me as well as my preference when ordering.

I felt that the corners and deeper cleaning could have been done better in the rooms. I found multiple hairs in my room that were not mine as well as a great deal of dust/dirt in the corners of every room. The elevator made me feel like I could catch a common bug just touching the floor buttons and walls.

The property itself was very nice. Big open area, close to places to eat, but we also had dinner in their restaurant. The dinner was okay but nothing special. The rolls on the soup and salad bar were cold and hard. Breakfast was in the restaurant in the morning and that was a disappointment. They could have done and offered so much more in the space they had available. It was just an average coffee, muffins type of option. A very "average" experience.

Even though they seemed to be a bit understaffed, they still quickly got me checked in. The kids liked the shallow pool and it's conveniently right off the interstate if you're just needing to stop for the night. They forgot to put a packnplay in our room so I told the front desk and then went to eat. By the time I got back it was in the room.

The view wasn't great but I didn't get the room for a view so it didn't bother us.

The room was huge and accommodated our family of five. Beds were comfy Hot breakfast was great and staff was friendly. We ordered dinner from the restaurant one night and the food was delicious! Going down to the bar for a drink was a fun bonus. The pool is pretty cool but the deepest part was around 3 1/2 feet so my 12 year old was a little bummed about that but my younger ones loved it.

There was way too much chlorine in the hot tub. It irritated my skin and my family as soon as we got in it. The elevator was really sketchy and we thought we were going to get stuck in it one time, so we used the stairs instead. The place could use some repairs and updating but for the most part it was a good place to stay and I would recommend it.

The pool side rooms are convenient for parents of older kids. They have access to the pool without having to go down the hallways of the hotel. They free buffet breakfast that is included is nice as well. The staff who make sure the breakfast is available and clean up were exceptional.

The water in the tub filled up quickly while the shower was getting warm. This was something that I alerted the front desk of upon check out. This may be an issue that they have never been made aware of. The front desk staff was quick to assure me that they would get it looked at immediately.

This is the only place we stay when we're in Casper. Awesome amenities and staff is down to earth and amazing. Last time we stayed our baby was only about 6 months old and really didn't do good. The staff were really caring and offered to help when my husband appeared down stairs around 2 in the morning trying to calm our baby down. We apologized the next morning and they assured us everything was ok of course we still felt pretty bad. We love Ramkota Hotel. Sweetest breakfast attendant ever.

Loved the pool area! Deepest is 3 feet and 3'6" in one corner. So nice for my little girl to be able to play without me having to be in the whole time. Two fun little slides and a nice hot tub. She had so much fun! The restaurant in the lounge was sooo good! Nice to have a restaurant in the hotel so you don't have to leave for dinner after traveling all day. The service was fantastic too. They were so busy! You also got a free glass of wine as well. Bed was pretty comfortable. Front desk was really good too. Probably my favorite place to stay.

The rooms aren't the best. Kinda felt dirty. Carpet is old and edges not clean, bathroom tile work and grout getting gross in the room I was in.

I chose this hotel specifically for it's proximity to the Werner Ct. area. Also the cost was very reasonable. The bed was comfortable, and every thing in the room worked.

The building is old, which is okay, but it needs repairs and seemed dirty. There was peeling paint, worn spots in the carpet, etcetera. I suspect it wasn't as dirty as it seemed; the dinginess is probably due to its age. The restaurant wasn't open so we had to eat in the bar and the service was terrible. The bartender had a friend (significant other?) sitting at the bar who got more attention than her customers did. Also, the front desk said it was Italian Night, it wasn't; so, the front and the restaurant and the bar are not communicating well. Still I did enjoy my stay, it served my purposes for work, and I will come back in the future.

The pool right outside our door. Restaurant in the building. Food was good. Beds were comfortable.

The pillows were flat. Our waitress at the Remington restaurant was rude and inattentive. Had to have her redo our bill for dinner. Kept trying to charge us for items we didn't order and when brought up she became rude and short with us.

Breakfast was minimally OK, eggs a bit cold, tour bus involved so difficult to judge true capability. The front test person (young woman) was super helpful. The room and hotel are tired but OK, elevator is slow, something to consider if on floors 5-6.

It needs an overhaul, but it was clean in the room. AC was loud, but we turned it off and was OK temp wise. For the money, it is OK, reviews led me to believe it was a Holiday Inn Express equiv. Not but we slept fine.
