Luxury Old Quarter Hotel & Gym

Super friendly and welcoming staff, especially the reception manager Linda. I received lots of good information for example about great local restaurants but was also given good advice about the city already before arriving. Room was very clean, comfortable and decorated very cutely Vietnamese style. The bed and pillows were also super comfortable and I especially enjoyed the quietness in the room (absolutely no noice from the streets even as the location was central). Ac was also very good. I enjoyed the fitness room which had fan, ac and very good treadmill. Also the location near the lake was really nice!

The location of this hotel is perfect, right in the middle of the Old Quarter with walking access to all the shops and restaurants. The Old Quarter never sleeps!

My room did not have a window. I’ve noticed in Vietnam that this is not always clear when booking. I was offered to pay for an upgraded room with a window and when I saw the room, it actually would have made no difference as the window opened onto a wall so there was no natural light anyway. I booked this hotel specifically for the gym which was a huge disappointment. A tiny room, like a broom closet, so small that the door wouldn’t even close, containing an old treadmill, a bench, and 2 weight plates! Very very disappointing.

Room was great (executive room) - large, with a nice balcony. Bed was soft and comfy. Shower had good pressure and nice tub with it. Location is superb for all things in Old Quarter and close to the lake. 5 minutes walking gets you anywhere you need to be in OQ.

There is no provision for food at all. No breakfast, nothing. So you have to fend for yourself. The room, for being 35m2, could use a full-size mirror on one of the empty walls so one doesn't have to walk to the bathroom, then stand on the bathtub, to use the mirror. Also, on one morning, I was awoken by a knock at the door. It was someone I assume from the hotel showing around 2 people, perhaps prospective guests, what my room looked like. When I hesitated as I had just stood up in my underwear from bed, he pressed "just 2 minutes" - so I relented and let him showcase the room. This should not be necessary. That was supremely annoying.

It was one of the best hotel I’ve stayed at. It was very clean, staff were friendly & helpful , great location, nice room setting and deco.

Staff are so friendly and helpful. Location is very central in the Old Quarter with cafes, bars, laundry all nearby. Daily housekeeping with fresh water, sheets and towels. Wifi worked well and beds were comfy. TV had a few international channels with some good films on. Water was hot and pressure was good.

There was a slight musty/damp smell but having the air con on helped a bit. There was no air con in the bathroom though so there were lots of mosquitos that entered threw the ceiling vents and we had a quite a few bites. Also the bathtub rocked from side to side slightly. It’s a bit more run down than the pictures suggest (marks on the walls, mould in the bathroom) but all in all still good value for money.

The stay was fantastic again. And Linda and her team were wonderful especially Saffron and Chloe.

Minor issue there wasn’t the option to have 2 key cards for our room, which was little annoying if one person wanted to go do something else etc. We booked a tour to Ha long bay via the hotel Some of the chairs on the coach were broken other tourists pointed it out too. The food wasn’t great and no options to change it and our guide wasn’t very attentive at least not with everyone on the tour. It was a bit chaotic in general but I don’t think the weather helped But the hotel itself was great and can’t fault the actual stay.

Cosy room in an excellent location. Room is tucked away from the main streets so it was quiet. Bed was very comfortable. What I loved is the 5-star service here by Linda and her staff. It truly made me feel being at home away from home. I was touched by how Linda went the extra mile and took care of me even way before my trip to Hanoi. She helped with my itinerary planning and bookings. When I was sick from food poisoning, Linda and her staff took care of me, preparing my meals, taking care of my travel plans and frequently checking in to make sure that I was feeling okay. Not forgetting to mention how responsive Linda was over whatsapp even after working hours. As a solo traveller, I felt well taken care of and despite my food poisoning, I enjoyed my stay here.

Had a minor issue with the bathroom drainage but it was promptly resolved by their engineer.

Very lovely place in the heart of Hanoi, old quarter. All sightseeings in walking-distance. There is small air conditioned gym in hotel, that was perfect for my morning exercises. The most pleasure part of my staying there was communication with hotel's administrators. Special thanks to Saffron(sorry if I write it wrong) and Chloe. They meet me every time with smiles, pretty conversations and they were very helpful in every my requests and gave me a lot of advices around the city. Never met more cute administrators than Saffron and Chloe.

Nothing actually

I had a comfortable stay at the hotel and that it was conveniently located for accessing the most popular tourist attractions in Hanoi. I was assisted by receptionists, who made my stay even more enjoyable by providing me with helpful advice on food and tourist locations. The hotel staff are attentive and knowledgeable, and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure that guests have an enjoyable stay. If you are planning to return to Hanoi in the future, it would be a good idea to consider staying at this hotel again .

Linda and her team are the best hotel staff team I’ve come across in my travels. Super friendly, super helpful and made our stay the absolute best. If you want a hassle free, professional, efficient hotel to stay in you should book here. Linda will help to organise any cars you need for your day trips or to the airport. Was so convenient and reasonable pricing. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. Perfect location! Also not noisy at night. Great wifi. Good little travel gym. Really yummy breakfast. Highly recommend
