Stephen the concierge and Suzie on check in are exceptional staff - they are an asset to your hotel! Free parking was a wonderful surprise which I appreciated. I was there for a conference so it was brilliant that we could walk everywhere. The Italian restaurant was amazing and food delicious but the staff were tricky to get hold of to order drinks. They didn’t check on our tables we had to wait and chase them down. The manager did kindly allow me to take home the leftover olives though which made me very happy! The set up for our conference party was incredible! I was very impressed with the set up it looked awesome. The food for our conference was 11/10! The best food at a conference I’ve ever had! The variety of options, flavours and dessert bar were next level. I was so full! Hopefully our conference will be there again in 2024 and the resort can offer accommodation package discounts for us all.

The buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. We sat outside every morning with the company of some very cheeky magpies. Do not leave your food unattended!! There are a number of different dining options for meals on-site. Although we didn't partake, they do a high-tea at the Panorama lounge, which looked both delicious and popular. The views from our room were fabulous. All the staff at the Resort who we met, were very friendly and helpful. Our room had twin queen beds, which were very comfortable.

Unfortunately, the tap in our bathroom was very stiff and there was a bit of an unpleasant smell coming from the handbasin drain. We blocked the smell with a wet face washer!

We booked 5 rooms for 2 nights for a weekend birthday celebration of my son's 30th. What a fantastic weekend we all had. The resort has absolutely everything you need, we didn't need to go anywhere all weekend. We played golf and tennis. The golf course is really good, enjoyed it immensely. There are plenty of bars and restaurants and the staff are wonderful. We had really good and friendly interactions with them all weekend. There were 9 people in our party and all of us enjoyed our stay, our NZ guests raved about the resort. Highly recommended, would stay again without doubt.

Honestly there was really nothing.

Extremely efficient and friendly check in staff. As we were celebrating a milestone wedding anniversary we were offered a complimentary bottle of wine which was a nice surprise. Then in our room champagne and chocolate strawberries! Chilled to perfection. Room was quiet, modern and spotlessly clean very comfortable beds lovely linen and pillows. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful and acknowledged our special anniversary. Dinner was superb at Amici and Andrew went out of his way to make our evening memorable. Complimentary house made chocolates also were a lovely surprise. Breakfast was delicious with hot and cold options- so many choices it was hard to choose. We took advantage of late checkout to further enjoy our stay. Undercover parking was also a bonus. Great from beginning to end! Would highly recommend.

Bathroom needed updating but definitely functional.

From the time, which I walked into the door greated by the staff, I realised how much luxury I was in at this resort. I had a beautiful room overlooking the golf course. and nothing was out of place no scuff marks nothing broken. Just perfect. At dinner, even though I was dining alone, I did not feel alone for a moment as the staff continued to check in on me and have polite conversation. I had the perfect cocktail with olives as a side. Carbonara for dinner. With a beautiful French rose. Stop calling me babe or helpful and check out. This one be a preferred place to stay on the Gold Coast for me.

From the moment we entered the Royal Pines Resort & greeted by Sue at reception, very warm & welcoming, very professional & extremely courteous. An Incredible lady thank you Sue. I was then greeted by Stephen the concierge very polite, courteous & professional. Nothing was too much trouble for him assisting us in every aspect. Always greeting us when he saw us during the days. Thank you Stephen you were amazing. - the staff was friendly and approachable -overall the place was clean and pleasant

- the air con wasn’t self controlled. The room would get cold when we didn’t want and when we needed air con we couldn’t turn on. - the water temp for shower was very temperamental, if not careful you couldn’t easily burn. It’s not very friendly - the spa bath was not cleaned, when we first turned it on, dirt and hair came out of the spa vents - we got a microwave hire for the room, the microwave was very dirty on arrival

Very pleasant room, even if a tad tired. Would stay again for an overnighter, despite our negative comments in the areas we did not like. Longer stay would present problems as the shower area is not sufficiently safe for disabled use - in our particular case.

The airconditioning was not fully functional and did not bring the room temperature down to an acceptable level. Fridge was a bit past the use by date. While the room was exceptionally clean and fresh, it ceratinly showed numerous signs of wear and tear around the edges. Disabled bathroom was good but not safe enough for us to use properly. Insufficient grab rails.

Spacious grounds and garden good quieter position with good access to the coast if you have a car rooms very very spacious, delightful in this era of squashed up rooms

getting from car park to foyer, then across to lifts to access rooms was a bit too far. finding a luggage trolley would have been difficult. Staff shortages in bar meant that I had to go out from 1 bar, go downstairs, purchase my non alcoholic drink, then go back upstairs to rejoin my party... Buffet breakfast was awful, even cooked to order omelet was horrible. Room service/housekeeping incomplete which meant we had to ring for replacement items

Wonderful resort, great breakfast, excellent service from staff. There is a great play area for the kids, amazing poolside vibe and even a soccer pitch with A-class maintained lawn. Kids loved exploring around the resort and making lots of friends. Restaurant options were also really good, with a gorgeous Italian option and the cafe had a yummy wellness salad. The spa bedrooms are great if you are travelling for work, with a sunken lounge and office space.

It is really popular, so book everything well in advance.
