Barwon Heads Resort

Lovely rooms. Bed was comfy and huge, could probably fit 3 medium adults. Lol. Pillows were soft. Apartment had everything you need. They came and replaced the towels everyday and made the bed, which was nice. Smart TV was handy. Was a great location if U like golf and if you have a car. We didn't have a chance to swim or eat at the restaurant. My husband did use the gym. I didn't walk to the beach because I couldn't find the walking track. Lol

The only thing we didn't like was the couch wasn't all that comfortable, but that's not a huge downer.

The location was good. The space in the apartment was good compared to other family units we have been in.

The seating capacity in our unit was not sufficient for 4 adults. One of us always had to sit on a dining chair or the floor in order to be able to gather together in the "lounge area". I was expecting at least two double couches, not two and a single.

Family friendly , exceptional restaurant and food . Amazing pool and spa . BBQ area and utensils Fully equipped kitchen . Air con . Amazing view . Close to everything you need and more . Golf range a few steps away . Truly amazing place would go back again and again thanks so much barwon heads resort for a all round great experience. Kind regards

We enjoyed our stay at Barwon Heads Resort. The people are friendly and the place is clean. We enjoyed our room with the view overlooking the golf course in tranquil surroundings listening to the waves in the ocean which wasn't far away.

Heated swimming pool rather than unheated and a ladder for climbing in and out.

Most of the dishes we used was damp and dirty, I assume it was washed and then just placed in the cupboard. There is no dish dry rack, this is crazy.. then there is a dishwasher in the unit, but not dishwasher tablets is supplied. The unit wasn't necessary clean and spotless when we arrived

There needs to be a dish rack! There needs to be dishwasher tablets, this way you can also ensure that when people leave, they will ensure the dishes are cleaned. There is NO hot pool, you will have more returning customers if this can be addressed, even if just the smaller pool is heated... but heating both pools should be a game changer. The basketball court is really nice, but caan be better maintained as well as the outdoor sports equipment Why is there not a short putt-putt or adventure golf course and perhaps a golf practise net?

Great location and have stayed numerous times.

The room was in line with other rooms that we have stayed in previously. However, the couch and dining chairs were really hard and uncomfortable to sit on. Given no other chair options it was hard to sit in for long periods. Otherwise room, venue and location are ideal.

Well laid out and spacious one bedroom apartment. Had essential kitchen equipment. Great balcony with a lovely view of the gold coarse. Very quiet and tranquil. Option of walking to the beach - just a nice relaxing 20 minutes walk.

Restaurant was closed. Could use a clean of the windows. Pool was too cold.

Great size rooms, had everything we needed. Would have liked to have stayed longer to enjoy the amenitees, food and go for a walk. It was conveniently located for where we needed to go and an area we had not visited before. Very quiet at night.

Single beds a bit small when you have tall boys.

Excellent location for a keen golfer, right next to Practice facilities, comfortable room, suited my requirements.

I could not comment on the bed comfort as I had a very poor night's sleep, due to one of my health issues keeping me up most of the night, which meant I wasn't able to play golf that morning, which was no fault of the bed.

Staff were so friendly, beautiful location and great walk to the beach. Clean room.

For $300 a night the mattress on the bed was very very old and in need of an upgrade, it had a massive dip on one side from use over the years. Also having to take out our own rubbish was very strange.
