AMERON Hotel Abion Spreebogen Berlin

Very conveniently located, within 5 minutes walk to S-bahn station Bellevue. Many cafes and few restaurants in close proximity and if one may venture a 12-15 minute walk food stalls and restaurants at Arminius Market Hall are worth considering as well. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice view from the riverside apartment which was warm, clean and comfortable. Underground parking with a direct access to the hotel is a plus.

Breakfast buffet was excellent. Room decor was modern and we liked the complimentary bottle of water. Our wish to have rooms nearby was granted, although we would have preferred adjacent rooms. We liked the possibility to park in the hotel's parking garage. And the location was very central and close to public transportation.

The check-in was fine, but not very personalized. It was a bit complicated to carry our luggage from the parking garage into our room, as we had to switch elevators. When we arrived at our room with our luggage, the cleaning personnel wanted to pass with their cleaning cart and did not wait until we had entered our room so we felt a bit rushed. It would have been nice to receive a bottle of water every day and not only on the first day. Rooms were a bit smaller than expected and unfortunately did not offer a view over the Spree.

5 min walk to nearest train station,Bellevue which is on main line to airport S9,1 stop to main train station .Didn’t have meals in hotel,very expensive.Supermarket /cafe/bakery on ground floor of same building as hotel was very good.Had breakfast there.6€ for 2 coffees and 3 croissants as opposed to 25€ breakfast each in hotel.Staff at hotel friendly and helpful.Free early checkin and late checkout when we asked while there

Very slow service in bar,no background music ,felt maybe bar staff only liked you being there if you were having meals.Air conditioning was useless.

The room was really spacious. The bed was very large and really comfy. There was a coffee machine in the room. The view was very nice. Furniture in the room was functional and the placement was well planned. Air conditioning was good to have as it was very hot. Bathroom was also spacious. Hotel is by the river that gave this nice river vibe, it was nice to walk along the river. And we walked to main train station along the river the next day.

The only negative thing was 1 receptionist who left us waiting in the lobby for almost an hour after check in time and giving rooms to people that came after us. He asked us to wait more even after approaching him after his first promise that we should wait for 10-15 minutes. Later when after waiting I think over 40 minutes I approached another receptionist it turned out the first one had not memorized our case at all and I had to answer all the questions the second time - we got the keys to the room from the second receptionist straight away. Check out receptionist was also very pleasant.

Excellent location. There are plenty of good restaurants and cafes within 5 minutes walking of the hotel. Also, the hotel is in a really nice neighborhood, and is walking distance to the train station (5 minutes). The room was spacious and clean, beds were comfortable. There was a nice view of the river from the room.

Air conditioning is almost non-existent, which I'm sure wouldn't be a problem in the winter months, however, if you're traveling in May, June and July, the rooms can get very hot! Other minor issues - would be very useful to have a mini fridge and kettle in the room.

This is a great 4-star hotel. This was a work trip, and I was traveling by myself. So the room was spacious for my needs. I wish the comforters were larger - I'm a tall guy, and the comforter was a bit small for me :-). I was jetlagged, so having an espresso machine in the room was great. Staff would also leave a bottle of water every day, which was handy. The location was good as you can walk by the river and it is 5-min from S-BAHN station, which I used daily to go to work and one day for tourism. There is a small organic supermarket by the hotel, which is good for last-minute snacks. There is a Paulaner bar and a great indoor market with several restaurants (10-15 min walk). I think it was called Arminius Market Hall. Breakfast was good too. The only issue that I had with the breakfast was the menu was exactly the same for the 6 days I was in the hotel. I wish they had changed slightly as I got tired of having the same things every day. Overall, a great stay for a good price. I recommend it.

The Ameron Abion is ideally located near the train station of Bellevue and a number of bus stops, which connect it with different parts of the city, including the main station, the airport and the most famous shopping street. Nearby there is plenty of restaurants, parks, a shopping center and even a bio market and a pub are just a few steps away. The hotel itself also has a very good restaurant which offers delicious food in a modern and relaxed atmosphere. The vicinity to the river is another plus for those who like to go for a stroll or a jog. The breakfast is served in a spacious and comfortable restaurant and offers a huge variety of food for all tastes and dietary preferences. Finally, the staff at this hotel is extremely helpful and kind, even in the most challenging situations. Highly recommended!

personal preference, but beds were more on the firm side then I like. Main complaint is the setup of our room. while it was very large and perfect for our family if 4, the layout of beds was not good. the queen bed for the adults / parents was upstairs but the only bathroom, main door entrance and controls for the lights and window shades was downstairs where the twin beds for the kids were! this made it a pain to constantly have to go up and down, especially at night. the twin (kids / secondary guest) should have been placed upstairs and the adult / main guest bed downstairs.

Lovely, clean and modern room overlooking the river Spree, close proximity to public transport and many Cafés and restaurants. Good breakfast buffet, friendly staff. And in all, it was great and I'd definitely come back if I were to have an event closely again.

The entrance was hard to find, as Google for once misled me and while I booked "Ameron" it only says "Abion" on top of the building, which confused me. Also, the automated check-in via computer terminal didn't work, but staff was readily at hand to get me sorted.

Beautiful location along the Spree River. Hotel is located in an old butter factory and is gorgeous. Staff were all really lovely. Family room was very comfortable, although it could do with a bigger bed in the upstairs floor. Walking distance to the Bellevue train station on the S9. Only one stop the Berlin main station and 2 to Friedrichstabe stop. Organic supermarket, brewery and other restaurants very close by.

There was issues with the WiFi while we were there as they were upgrading the facilities.
