NH Berlin City Ost

Staff, bath, cleanliness, location( if you dont have a green sticker on your car to enter low emission zone in berlin), bed and bowls for dog. Even the pet policy says that its nots allowed to leave your pet in the room, upon arrival they informed us that we can leave the dog in the room for 2 hours.

They called us because the dog was barking when people passed the room. Its ok, i understand :) But… why you put all the guests ( also with dogs) in one floor when most of the rooms are empty. But in all cases, the woman was very friendly and not angry :)

Location, room size, staff, cleanness were all great.

Refilling of the coffee making tray was poor; just one coffee and one milk although we were two people. The wlan in the room was extremely poor but staff provided a router and with this it was ok. The prices for private people are just too high- on average 150 Euro pro night is expensive and affordable for business people but 800 Euro for 5 nights without breakfast for leisure is too much.

The room was very clean and pleasant. It was also quite large for hotel rooms- it wasn't small at all and there was a lot of storage space. You could tell that the hotel is old by parts of the decor, but it's completely renovated and everything is new. Thd location is also excellent- close to all public transport (u bahn, s bahn, tram, bus etc.). All in all, we had a great stay!

The only down side was that the pillows were not comfortable at all. I used both of them (one of top of the other) and slept ok, so it's possible to manage, but still- the pillows could be improved.

Read all the 1 and 2-star reviews and could not agree or believe most of them. My stay was just perfect, perhaps the price was a little high, but it is certainly compatible with the room's standards and the location, close to Frankfurter Allee, where you catch the ring train and "U" subway.

I actually found a piece of glass on the bathroom floor (picture) but other than that I could not find a thing to complain about and it was on the corner so not really offering any danger to me or my wife.

The room was quiet and clean, the staff was very nice ,patient and had find a away to answer question and request. Breakfast was generous and tasty. The placement of the hotel is very comfortable and the metro Who is located five minutes from the hotel ,can take you everywhere in the city

The hotel didn’t have a gym space

The Location was ideal for accessing the transport system, and a beautiful and excellent quality restaurant next door. And a supermarket only 5 minutes from the Hotel. Great staff, good English for non German speaking guests.

I didn't find any issues other than the pillows are quite thin and i like fluffy ones, my partner thought the bed was a bit hard but I personally liked it as I have a bad back.

Nice room, convenient location

Staff did not seem to be able to find additional coffee sachets for the room (we opted for no room service). Additional cost to stay an extra night was excessive considering it was Sunday night, 40 rooms available and no need to make up beds etc. Cost for parking in hotel was excessive.

I liked the location and ease of access to get to my room. Room was clean.

One of the things we did not like was the access to outlets. There were none next to bed to plug in my husbands sleep apnea machine. The closest outlet was across the room. We borrowed an extension cord from the hotel but it became a trip hazard and did not plug into our adapter correctly.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and secure, a nice hotel for the value!

I paid for a double bed room but it was not available at the time of our arrival so they switched me to a single. It was a little tight but we made it work. Wish we had had the double though!

Paid for the enhanced wifi so I could work better - was rubbish - not worth paying for at all.
