Hotel Tres Reyes San Sebastián

Great location if your ok to take a bus into town. Personally we found it a great way of escaping the hectic tourist centre. Staff were polite and helpful. Hotel was spotless.

The layout of the hotel was a bit odd - access to the pool through the indoor car park. Sun was gone from the pool area by 5.00pm. Not enough seating area around the pool.

Facilities were fabulous, pool impeccable, terrace drinks and lunch was great and service was lovely, all staff really made us feel welcome. Particularly excellent experience on check in. We had travelled from Roscoff through the night and arrived in San Sebastián at 10:30. We were treated very kindly, told we could park and store our luggage. Then informed the breakfast restaurant was still open until 11:00. This was such a fabulous start, we were able to relax and enjoy a lovely breakfast, coffee and refreshments. The maitre’d was super attentive and waiting team provided excellent service. Finally, your team prioritised our room to allow us to check in early and we were delighted to be able to check in, get to our room and have a shower and unpack. We were also very impressed with public transport all a short walk from the hotel. This helped us explore!

Our only feedback for improvement: although our breakfast was nice, we would have appreciated a few more vegetarian options for the hot / cooked food. Therefore it felt a little expensive due to the limited vegetarian choice compared to what the meat eaters are offered. We would have had breakfast more than once if we felt it was value for money.

It's not often I write about the hotels I've stayed in but, on this occasion, I thought it would be a good idea as I stayed at this hotel in San Sebastien and followed through with another stay in Pamplona at their other hotel. There was quite a contrast between the two. I rate this hotel quite highly, the front desk where the staff interacted with a copious number of clients including myself was very calm, friendly, courteous and informative they are an excellent asset to the hotel the same could also be said for some of the staff working in the catering and serving areas. The hotel is very clean, and fairly modern I did not see any area which gave me cause for concern. There is a gym and a swimming pool. The bedrooms are spacious with Netflix and Youtube available for those inclined to watch TV. The garage is well placed for securing your car with easy access to the hotel. Good bus service to the centre of town I liked the staff and the hotel and would no doubt use them again.

There is a restaurant on the premises and though everything appeared clean, tidy and organised with pleasant staff in attendance I felt that the dinner menu left a lot to be desired especially when it was the same limited menu the very next day. To be frank I expected more from a 4* hotel I was bored with the choice available. The wine list made available to you unless you specifically asked for something more upmarket was unimpressive. I like good wine and unfortunately, the choices were rather dull and not for my taste. Some chairs on the ground floor near the reception area were really quite uncomfortable for me to sit on for too long maybe it's time to refresh the ground floor a little and invest in some new chairs.

We booked this looking for interconnecting rooms and a pool for our children (4&6). The rooms were great and well laid out, we had lots of space. Beds were comfortable, good bathrooms and nice decor. The bus was a short walk which was great, taxi and easy 10 mins back. This is not a resort hotel, the pool is overlooked by the car park and hotel restaurant. If you want a base to be in SS then it’s very functional and comfortable.

The minibar was completely empty and very little was left in the way of tea/coffee choice. No English breakfast tea in the room for example. Breakfast was ok, everything was quite middling- hot buffet was averagely cooked (fried eggs but egg white not cooked, bacon cooked but some only just); fruit was tasteless, croissants very average. Again, functional and you could eat, just not brilliant

The hotel was really nice and clean and the room was comfortable for a two night stay whilst exploring Donostia-San Sebastián.

We were travelling with our dog and it said it was pet friendly. AFTER I had booked I had a message to say dogs were only allowed under 15kgs (mine is 18kgs) but they would allow an excpetion this time AND it cost 30€ per day cleaning fee for the dog (with all due respect our dog is cleaner than most guests they will have). This is extortionate and the highest extra we've paid during a three week road trip. I wouldn't have booked here if this had been mentioned before booking! I already paid over 600€ for two nights!!!!

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, both our rooms (Delux Double and Suite) were fabulous and very comfortable, with a modern and new/ pristine feel. And most of all the staff was lovely and very helpful. The hotel is located in a residential area away from the centre which makes it quiet and picturesque. It wasn't an issue for us as we had a car. And because early June is still off-season, there was plenty of car space on the street. There was a complimentary mini-bar in our rooms stocked with drinks every day which was a superb touch. And there is a coffee machine with pods restocked every day in the rooms as well. We enjoyed a drink at the outside bar most nights and it was lovely. My parents enjoyed the continental breakfast offering and said it was quite nice, but being veggo I stayed away as the options are limited. It was great to be able to bring our small dog too.

Everything was great and I would definitely go again! Some things to note: Be aware that the pool doesn't open until mid/end June. The price for pet stay is 30 Euros per night which is a pricer than usual (However we appreciated the convenience) If you are vegan and wish to eat at the hotel, there are some options but it is very limited.

Clean and quite hotel. Free parking right outside the hotel, nice views of mountains.

They advertise a pool but it was closed.... OK, small thing. The location of the hotel is a good 15mins drive to city centre or 4.5km. No car.... get a bus and add another 35mins to centre. The toilet/bathroom/shower is a glass window. There is a shutter system on the bedroom side of the room. Also, we found the room to be very very hot from the sun and needed air-conditioning almost all day to keep it cool. Could not open windows. The price without breakfast was a lot for a hotel so basic and so far.

Staff friendly and helpful, hotel is beautiful, the room was lovely and the bathroom was incredible (I booked the hotel because the bathrooms look amazing and I was not disappointed). We ordered room service one night and it arrived quickly, the food was hot and very tasty. We didn't get breakfast as we liked to get the bus to town and buy pastries to eat on the beach but they looked great.

It would be really helpful if there was a page on the hotel website telling guests how to get the bus from the city to the hotel (get it from the Boulevard by McDonald's, you catch the number 28 bus which goes very regularly and you buy a ticket for €1.85 you don't need to specify a stop you just buy a ticket as they're the same price no matter which stop you get off at. You get off at the stop after the hospital the onkologica (not how it's actually spelled sorry!). Once you've done the first journey from the town to the hotel it's dead easy but I was shattered after our journey and knowing the above in advance would have been helpful to 2 tired travellers.

Interior design of this hotel is just beautiful, from bathroom, restaurant to corridors. Stunning and very clean. Room feels smaller with 3rd bed open yet there was enough room for all our luggage. USB plugs at bed side tables, no need for adapters. Very well equipped gym. Plenty of parking, very convenient when traveling by car. Location away from busy city centre, therefore very quiet. Very frequent bus to the centre (28), even on Sundays and bus stop is just 2-3 min walk. Very helpful and polite staff.

I was missing some fresh vegetables at breakfast.

Excellent hotel solid 4 stars. Unusual design inside the room, everything you need for work, comfortable, luxurious beds - just right for a good rest after a long journey. Convenient room service. Breakfast is quite expensive but with good choice of food.

The folding table in the room can be used for work, but this design does not feel very reliable. The choice of food from the restaurant for room service is rather limited. The parking for car costs 15 euro and additional 15 euro cost charging of the car. It seems to me that this is not logical, and one could charge less for charging a car.
