Beautiful boutique hotel with a fabulous bar on the top floor. (Book ahead!) Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. So much better than I expected. A little tight on the entrance to car park, but lots of space. Restaurant look great but unfortunately was fully booked.

I asked for a bath when I booked online, and I received no response. There was also no information from reception during check-in, i.e. was the restaurant available to book, when and if breakfast was available. Plus popping out of your room on the day you are due to leave the door card will no longer work. Things like that would be useful to know, instead of having to go up and down the lift several times.

Location was great, close to everything. Walking distance to Manuka oval. Apartment was very good, plenty of room, well equipped. New samsung tvs in both bedrooms and 65in in main room. Nespresso coffee pod machine and pods are very good, well equipped kitchen and laundry. Beds were very comfortable, large outdoor balcony was great. Aircon in each room was very good.

Plantation shutters in both bedrooms had plenty of broken shutters. Made it difficult to completely block out light and also they had come out of the slides, so difficult to move as well. Probably need some drapes instead. Both bathrooms need to be cleaned better. Grout looking old and needs a good scrub, bit of mould around shower floor tiles and glass sealant. Expect better standard of bathroom cleanliness when paying nearly $400 per night

Comfortable, spacious room, nice extras like coffee machine &pods, T2 tea selections, nice body wash & lotions! Very nice staff. Jayden the night manager was wonderful and helped me with late night TV issue. Thanks for the complimentary drinks voucher Jayden, you’re a star!

I was very happy with most things at Burbury. A small suggestion would be for an upgrade on your pillows, or the option of different ones. For what it’s worth, whilst I am a fan of the dark, moody atmosphere of the hotel, your reception area is not very inviting, it just feels a bit depressing. A touch here and there of colour (flowers?) and sparkle would take it to the next level! Same for the rooms, great decor but just a pop of colour here and there would make the darker colours pop!

We love staying at the Burbury. This is our second stay, our first was for our wedding last year. The beds and pillows are positively dreamy. The size of the one bedroom apartment was perfect for spreading out our international suitcases, doing washing, admin and relaxing. Access to the gyms is great and having multiple bars and restaurants makes catching up with friends locally so much easier. The staff were all great. Overall an excellent stay and we can't wait to return.

Unfortunately we arrived the day before a music festival in Canberra so the underground carpark and apartments were full of young festival goers. Because reception did not take car registration details, guests who were splitting the cost of an apartment and maxing out occupancy, took the liberty to park more than the single allocated car in the carpark. This meant genuine guests, like us, were unable to park when we are paying for the privilege.

The location was excellent as we attended a family wedding at the hotel across the street. Bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The selection of tea and coffee was great. Had dinner at the restaurant downstairs which was excellent and also enjoyed drinks at the rooftop bar. Lovely coffee shop just up the street where we had breakfast. Excellent coffee and food.

The security screens in the room were very dirty. Everything else was great

The space of the kingbed room was much bugger than i was expecting. The shower was lovely and the windows around the hotel lobbies made it nice to look out into gardens as you walk to your room. Bed and linen was very comfy and the pillow was good for my neck.

The issue with my room is the toilet and shower. There is no door that closes off the bathroom section from the room. There is only a frosted glass door that hides the toilet and I could hear my friends going to the bathroom. We had to play music on our phones near the wash basin to cover the sounds made when using the toilet.

A very spacious apartment, lots of space for kids! Decorated minimally which made it so much easier with a toddler who loves grabbing and throwing things. Excellent amenities and very clean space. It was very close to lots of places we wanted to visit- also it was only ten minutes to the city centre! A nice quiet street street too. The staff were very accommodating and helpful whenever we needed something and I told them we were visiting for our anniversary so they sent us a bottle of wine with some chocolates. Upon check in, they also gave us vouchers for complimentary drinks at a local place. Express checkout was excellent- we just texted when we were leaving and left the keys inside.

ThThe booking confirmation said they accepted cash as payment but the hotel said that they did not. Also, the balcony space was pretty dusty so we had to wipe them before use. There were no sponges to wash the dishes and when asked, we got steel wool and a scourer but we just ended up half loading the dishwasher. These things aren’t really enough for me not to stay there again but they might bother others more than they bothered us.

The room was very clean, bed comfortable, doona just right. The staff always greeted you with a smile and were helpful.

We thought there was a fault with the air conditioning. This was rectified quickly by maintenance staff who gave us a room key to be put into the air conditioning slot. The air conditioning was running well in minutes. Thank you. Although the In-house menu was tempting, there could have been more variety to include more substantial main meal. We opted for the shared platter of antipasto meats, bread, I left the chillies for my son. There could been a hard cheese to share in lieu of soft cheese ball. However, all in all very good variety of deli meats.

It was very spacious. Heaters were great. Carpark is great and very convenient too. The best thing is the Japanese restaurant LILOTANG at the ground floor ! Perfect ! Marvelous ! The second great thing is the Bar in front of the hotel with a great fireplace and the second Bar on the rooftop. And, above all, breakfast at Maple+Clove : AMAZING !

The worst thing is the cleanliness and furnitures are little bit used. Washing machine wasn't so clean too... It's a shame ... Fortunately the staff tried to do their best efforts to fix it. Staff are very friendly and good listeners.

Loved my room and loved that I could park underneath and go straight up to the room in the same lift. The water pressure was amazing and bed so comfortable. I will definitely stay here whenever I am next in the ACT as it was close to where I needed to go, close to a cafe with great coffee and the staff at the Burbury were friendly and the room very spacious and comfortable. Oh and the best chicken caesar salad I think I have had in a long time! It was a nice short walk from Parliament House and I felt safe to do so. Highly recommend for the business traveler

Very small thing - and it is common in many hotels I have stayed at - perhaps more stronger lighting over the desk - when I am at my laptop, I prefer more light but this would not in any way prevent me from returning to this hotel, as I will be back!.
