While the large room with a balcony overlooking the pool and the hotel's convenient location near restaurants and the beach were definite highlights. The room was exceptionally spacious, providing ample room to move around comfortably. The balcony, which was accessible from the room, offered a pleasant view of the pool area. It was a delightful spot to relax and enjoy some fresh air. The hotel provided a parking space, which was a nice convenience for guests with vehicles. The staff at the hotel were also accommodating and flexible, readily addressing any requests or concerns that arose during my stay. The hotel's location near great restaurants and the beach was a definite advantage. It provided easy access to a variety of dining options and the opportunity to enjoy the beach within a short distance. This proximity to local attractions enhanced the overall experience and made it convenient for guests to explore the surrounding area.

The lights were dimmed, which created a cozy atmosphere but also had the unintended effect of making me feel excessively sleepy. It would be helpful if the hotel provided brighter lighting options or adjustable lighting settings to cater to different preferences. In the evenings, the noise from the bar could be quite noticeable, which may disturb guests seeking a peaceful and quiet environment.

The location was excellent. It was directly across the beach and so one could easily move from the beach to the pool and back during the day. The beds were very comfortable and room cleaning very thorough. The stand out was how warm and helpful the reception staff were- they really made me feel valued.

1. My impression was that I had a direct sea view. My balcony was directly in front of the ocean (room 17) but most of the sea view was covered by trees in front of my balcony. 2. The hotel is a 3 star not 4 star but prices are the same as a few 4 stars closeby. If I had a view of the ocean i would have been ok with the price but not sure the price can be justified as compared to other 4 star hotels nearby. 3. The pool area did not have a shower or bathroom facilities. These should be standard for a hotel resort these days. 4. Given the rooms have concrete flooring, it would have been helpful if slippers were included in the rooms.

Super location, free parking, free laundry service, free cot (other accommodations required us to pay 20 -25 AUD), fantastic view, spacious and very comfortable room, great amenities. Ladies in the reception were so professional and helpful. Thank you again for the restaurant recommendation right next to the hotel (Hummingbird Bistro Byron Bay), we had a beautiful evening. We stayed over Christmas and we appreciate the gift at the door on the Christmas morning. That was a lovely touch.

No room service, and the pool with its different levels was actually quite dangerous. We went for a swim with our toddler in the evening of arrival and because it was dark we didn't expect it to go from shallow to deep so suddenly. It was a dangerous moment that I would love to forget. My recommendation is for the reception to actually give heads up on that when people are checking in.

Can’t speak more highly of this divine resort! It somehow manages to feel both entirely luxurious, and also like a home away from home. The staff are exceptionally lovely, the location is completely unbeatable, and the facilities are amazing. The pool is divine, the food from The Beachy next door is delicious, and the rooms are just perfect. Sitting on my balcony with a cocktail listening to the live music from the pub next door while watching the sunset over the beach- HEAVEN!! The fact that I felt so welcome and so taken care of by their lovely staff was just a huge bonus. I ended up booking another night while I was there- never wanted to leave!!

Jane on reception was welcoming, interested and kind. She was able to check us in 1 hour early, gave us a lot of helpful information and generally set the tone for an enjoyable stay!

It was a great experience. We were in one of the refurbished rooms so it wasn’t dated as others have mentioned. I found it to be well decorated, very well equipped , large and comfortable. I think the only addition I would mention is screen doors onto patio. Would have loved to leave the door open wide and have fresh air.

The hotel is across the road from the beach and has restaurants and shops within walking distance. It was a nice hike to the lighthouse. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. They made dining recommendations and each restaurant had amazing food, all within minutes of the hotel

We loved every thing about our trip to Byron Bay and we'll be back again.

Convenient to all amenities, beach across the road, an abundance of choice of restaurants and a lovely pool, the room was lovely also.

I picked this hotel mainly due to its Tesla charging which it has two spots. In the morning a large ute/truck was parked in one of the spots making it impossible for me to reverse back in. Its called being iced! (Internal combustion engine) parking you out of the spots often its intentional!

Great location. Pool area was lovely. It was so clean and our room was serviced daily - including fresh bath and pool towels. Really friendly staff. Handy (but dangerous) room / poolside bar and restaurant service. Would definitely stay there again

Nothing really. It was expensive but we were in the heart of Byron at absolutely peak season so it’s understandable and we were happy to pay

Have stayed twice and will certainly stay again. Love all the free extras provided - the discount (and secret access) at the adjacent bar (Beach Hotel Bar) and bottle shop, free bike hire, etc. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Despite being right in the heart of the action of Byron - it's a surprisingly quiet oasis. The location is perfect.

The best location in Byron Bay in my opinion. Very friendly staff and a lovely pool area, especially if the surfy sea is too rough for your taste!

I guess it is starting to get to look a little dated and my wish would be that, if they do update, then they make sure the doors are more soundproofed from Bay Lane noises plus passing guest noise.
