Very family friendly resort with lots of entertainment especially for the younger kids, Mine are aged 2,4 and 5. Train rides, merry-go-round, jumping castle, splash park and adventure trail. Kids also loved seeing the Kangaroos and hot air balloons in the mornings. on check-out reception allowed us to continue using resort facilities and was able to shower kids before driving home.

- 3 bedroom villa didn't have much utensils for cooking and there wasn't dish washing detergent either. would of also loved a mini vacuum in the villa as with kids over a extended stay it does get a little messy. We stayed 4 nights. - Fridge was a little small - Also a lot of the activities and kids club is around the time kids nap e.g. between 11.30am and 2pm

The family entertainment options were fantastic! My kids didn't get out of the heated pool for hours on end, only to have some snacks available poolside. The Water Dragons Kids Club offered a nice supervised time for the kids while us parents got 3 hours of well deserved time off. Then the arcade games at night.. we barely wanted to leave the hotel to explore around! The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pricey but excellent, the dinner options great too.

The rooms look like a concrete bunker from the outside and feel like a dated country motel inside. The 2 room family suite was really two separate rooms with heavy doors (impossible for kids to push open) and a corridor between them. The rooms really don't seem to justify the price- for adults only there probably better value options around. But as a family with small kids the aesthetic mattered less and we had a wonderful time with the great facilities the hotel offered.

Having stayed here before under Crowne Plaza we knew to expect a good standard. We were happy to see that breakfast was still really good and the in service dining options were too. Very family friendly with the water park and main pool being big and shallow for the kids. We love the ease of the resort in that it is close to all the local events (The huntervalley Gardens Christmas lights were beautiful). Could easily come and just stay at the resort with so much to do for the kids and with restaurants on site.

Had problems with the TV on arrival so we were upgraded and given $50 credit for the inconvenience. Second room it happened again but the technician was able to fix the problem. TV still had issues on and off which was annoying for us with kids. Apparently other rooms had issues too. Room only had a kettle, no coffee machine. Just little details that we felt could be looked at to make the resort a bit more updated. The water park is great but felt it needs refurbishment and something on the floor so kids don't slip. My daughter fell numerous times and on the last fall cut her lip. It's quite dangerous even though we supervised and went on there with them. It's such a great activity for them but just if the hotel can review the safety of it.

We stayed in the East Village which is behind the pool area . It was accessible and made it easy to walk over to games room, restaurant and pool. The bathrooms had full size shampoo, conditioner and body wash and ample amount of soap and towels. I was very surprised and impressed with that! Most resorts have those teeny tiny plastic bottles that are one time use- these can be easily refilled reducing waste and giving the patrons ease of mind knowing they have enough for showering. They use the “Thank you” company for toiletries and that’s a big thumbs up from us. We stayed during super hot weather but there was enough space in our villa to just chill and with air conditioning and a tv in each room, everyone could just relax after a day at the pool. We were given tea towels, dishwasher tablets and liquid for hand washing, sponge and the plates and cups were all spotless clean.

Would love a poolside shower to rinse off before getting in and out. Pool bathroom door wouldn’t lock so I had to stand on the door while kids used the bathroom. The kettle in room didn’t work, toaster lever was missing so we had to press down on a small bit of metal to get it toasting. We are not fussy people so that didn’t bother us but the staff are so helpful so if you find yourself in that situation I’m sure they’ll be more than happy to help. Theres a lot of rooms and a lot of people working to make sure your stay is great so just ask.

Room was wonderful, clean and had a balcony overlooking the large pool and kids play area. Bed was comfy. Large bathroom with separate bath and enough space to hang towels and put your toiletries. The breakfast is just brilliant, lots of options for kids and they are accommodating with cooking a la carte as well as the pre-prepared and self-serve options. The kids pool area really is the big drawcard for us, its very easy to spend the day there and relax whilst the kids swim. There is also a great kids club area and of course golf and walking tracks around the resort.

The food options post breakfast are a little disappointing and expensive, both for adults and children. Would be great to see some more snack options for poolside dining besides chips for kids. Also surprised to find a condensed wine menu, (my preferred wine varietal was not on the list) especially in wine country.

Proximity to cafe pool tennis and facilities

My villa 501 502… I booked a 2 bedroom villa. I got a 1 bedroom villa with a disabled toilet with a separate connected 2nd room via a very noisy heavy door… whilst it’s great having access to disabled facilities if you are disabled - our bathroom was a wet room that flooded when you had a shower in the disabled shower… The basin was small with a disabled tap so there was no room to spread out your toiletries just two tiny shelves …The living room was sterile…. No pictures on the walls you look at when you sit on the hard sofa … lots of roaches … at least 4 in 2 days …

Location, options for bedding configurations, facilities looks great.

Have to say, the check in/out desk always had lovely staff who were ready to help however the restaurant staff and the guy who served us coffee at the upstairs bar/lobby had zero customer service skills. He appeared angry about something. He made no eye contact at all. Made us wait while he tried to solve what looked like a computer issue and then was very abrupt when asking for our order. The restaurant also lost our order for our eggs but then made them again and all was fine. Breakfast was very expensive. More than most hotels. Room did not provide complimentary water which is odd for a hotel that charges these rates per night.

The one bedroom villa is perfect for a family of four - 2 double beds & a big couch in the living room. 2 pools: one for adults only & the other for kids and families. We enjoyed playing tennis, riding bicycles around the property, chilling by the pool and watching movies in the room - on Netflix/Prime Video using Chromecast! The entire trip was a real treat!

Would've appreciated if one of the double beds had been replaced with 2 single beds, as was requested but declined. However, it didn't dampen our stay one bit.

It was a beautiful hotel. I would love to stay again if I visit hunter valley. Our room had free buffet breakfast which I loved. I wanted to have dinner at the restaurant but it was closed that night.

Only thing I would like to mention is there was no drinking water in the room. There was a mini bar with drinks and just a 600 ml bottle of water which I have to pay for it. Normally on good hotels they give you free water bottles at least!!! Also while arriving I was not given any instructions about wifi and using TV. I had to call the receptionist about it.

The resort is amazing with the best facilities for the kids. We had such a wonderful time and would stay here again. The buffet breakfast was the best so many options to choose from. The only things I disliked was one staff member was rude but overall the rest were amazing! Room was clean but the bathrooms need more thorough cleaning done

Bathrooms need more thorough cleaning. Bathroom had hair on the floor and the bath tubes were fully cleaned only the inside not the surrounding parts.
