whilst we didn't have breakfast in house, we did utilise the restaurants and bar areas. all the rooms and facilities were very clean and always enjoy our stay when we visit.

ordering of food and drink when using your club membership. I wanted to order both wine and food, from the bar, however, was told that i had to go to the restaurant and order both wine and food there to obtain the discount. You need to put up signage regarding this as when you are busy and having to wait in lines and then only to be told you need to go some where else to order this is very frustrating.

Breakfast was fantastic, fresh made eggs, good coffee and lots of variety. The room was great - we took a room with 2 double beds to fit us parents and our two year old. The bathroom has a big shower and a bath. The swimming pool area and waterpark are ideal for the kids and the ability to order and have the food delivered to the table near the pool - so good!

For $739 per night, it was quite pricey but we wanted to stay to see the light show at the gardens. It might be more affordable off peak but it would have been nice for the price to be a bit lower.

I am very satisfied with the level of service provided, particularly by the receptionists, cleaning and room service staff who were incredibly friendly and efficient. However, I would like to bring to your attention some challenges we encountered at the restaurant, specifically with the receptionists at the restaurants. Unfortunately, there were issues with our bookings and bills on two consecutive days, indicating a possible lapse in training or communication.

The one drink per one main meal policy was a bit of a turn down for us. It felt restrictive and didn't align with the celebratory spirit of the day. I understand the need for policies, but I wanted to express my thoughts on how it impacted our enjoyment. Perhaps there could be some flexibility or alternative arrangements for special occasions like holidays. Also, we have made two online bookings under the same name for a group of 14 people at your buffet restaurant. The bookings were made separately due to the maximum limit of 10 people per booking. To our surprise, we discovered that one of the bookings has been canceled without any prior notification. This has caused inconvenience as we were not informed about the cancellation, and it affects our group's accommodation arrangements.

The facilites available at the Rydges are fantastic. The pools, sauna, tennis courts, gym, running trails are the only ones like it in the area.

The staff, we came in contact with, didn't smile or show any emotion. The lady on check-in, as our first point of contact, didn't want to be there on the day. She didn't explain what was at the hotel, the facilities, how breakfast/dinner worked or anything. The only smile from any staff member came from housekeeping staff. The pools are also not heated, not a deal breaker but also not pleasant. The hotel could also use a bit of a reno in the bathrooms, showing their age a bit.

My only complaint is on Tuesday 9th at dinner time, whilst waiting in the queue to be served at downstairs restaurant , this woman argued and argued with the young girl serving, She insisted that's kids ate for free, so in the end the young girl , to get rid of her gave her a free meal for her child. To me she should have called the manager and this woman should not have been given anything, because she probably did the same at lunch and breakfast, whilst the rest of us paid for our children's meals.

- The facilities for the kids - waterpark, games room and train. There were plenty to do within the resort to keep kids occupied. - Most resort staff were friendly and helpful - Redsalt Restaurant: food delicious and staff exceptional

Receptionist (upon check in) seemed disinterested. I heard there was a train that went around the resort so I wanted to confirm the timing and asked the Receptionist. She advised every morning at 9:30am. I said that I heard another staff said there was also a 2pm train ride. She responded with “Then I guess there is one. You can just wait outside”. I asked if she can confirm if there is actually a 2pm train ride as I didn’t want to be waiting outside with my 3 year old and 4 month old if there isn’t one. She said she didn’t know and told us to go to Concierge as they look after that sort of stuff.

Breakfast - was very good, high standard. Room - was comfortable & clean, Pool - they both looked amazing but we didn't use them.

Breakfast - it was so crowded, but unfortunately because the venue is so popular this is something that you just have to accept. Room - I needed to put makeup on and the makeup mirror in the bathroom was situated such that you had to put your legs either side of the toilet in order to use the mirror which I thought was ridiculous. Pool - would be lovely in the warmer weather, so can't comment other than they looked amazing

I like the outdoors and the open-air area. The rooms/apartments are designed not too close to each other so there are fresh air circulation, good amount of sunlight, and open green environment

The room is dusty, the television set is very old, and the bed is too soft. It would be great to check and maintain the cleanliness of the room, as it is very challenging for a person with dust and mites allergies like myself.

Staff were extremely helpful in all situations. The property is great for families. There are areas that are kid free which is great. Excellent buffet breakfast included in our stay well worth it. We requested a portable and high chair which came to the room with no issues.

There were no lifts that I could see between the lobby and the lower floor going to the pool, day spa and bar area. Accessibility seemed difficult if you required an option other than the stairs. There could have been one but it wasn’t obvious to me

Redsalt restaurant service and quality. Room was clean, spacious, modern and comfortable.

Lovedale bar and grill was a serious disappointment. As a solo traveller I had plenty of time to observe everything and walking around the grill, I noticed that everyone's food was very dry looking and just thrown together. I understand it's the casual food experience, but there still needs to be a quality upheld in a resort like this. I sound like a whinger, but I was honestly just a solo traveller who noticed everything in my 2 days - even the little things, like the towel hooks on the bathroom wall - completely useless... and the TV remote... for some reason I had to work really hard and press the buttons so hard for it to work. And... I couldn't connect to the WiFi... unavailable or something... lots of little things. Room for improvement but overall amazing stay!
