The room was a nice size, with a comfortable sitting area and desk. The bed was comfortable with big fluffy pillows. the room had an air-con, kettle, fridge (minbar at your expense), coffee/tea/sugar/hot chocolate (free), water, glasses/mugs/spoons. The bathroom is large with soap/shampoo/conditioner/hair dryer. The linen was clean and soft. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Good size pool with shallow and deep ends and a nice water feature. Plenty of tables and chairs outside. A bathroom outside so you do not need to go up to your room. There is a nice place to sit and have a drink in the restaurant area with a chess table. The restaurant had good quality food. Service was laid back and you didn't feel rushed. Overall this is a nice place to stay.

A small amount of mold in the bathroom. Service was a little slow in the quiet restaurant, the desk staff were nice. However, you need to ask every question as they don't give any, this includes asking for the Wifi password. The TV casting of the streaming service was confusing and I could not get it to work.

The room is very spacious and clean, perfect for a family and the beds are big too. Location is great as easy to find, ample parking spaces and near by city center so easy to find food and other things.

Amenities inside the room could be improved and supply important necessity such as bottles of water (instead of tap water) and facial tissue box for the room (not just toilet tissue rolls). Bar fridge needs regular cleaning.

the elevator could be repaired as it jerked and clunked when used, increasing the volume of music in the elevator did not improve the use if it if anything highlighted the fact that it was in desperate need of a service. The elevator had not been cleaned and rubbish was on the floor. The placement of the fire/smoke detectors was a problem the fact that they flashed on and off all night, not even a regular pattern was distracting when sleeping and when trying to go back to sleep in the middle of the night. i had signed the receipt for the dinner to be charged to my room and found they had split the bill in the morning - not sure why or how they did this.

Wonderful welcoming reception and cleaners were especially professional and polite. Special shout out to the cleaner with the split dyed hair who was absolutely lovely and had great customer service. My room was beautiful and immaculately cleaned, smelling fresh and nice. I enjoyed the room with the spa bath which was A+ and much larger and deeper than the photos give justice to!! Definitely plan to stay again the next time i need a weekend away from my home town and indulge in some pampering and self care haha

The check-in process was easy. (I was late to my check in and so a key was left for me.) The hotel is easy to find. The staff are lovely and friendly. The free parking that is offered is great! I received a drink voucher for the bar - however I don't drink alcohol - perhaps a free coffee or 2 could also be great?

The room décor was very outdated. The bathroom amenities are very outdated. The bathroom taps are loose. The fridge did not work. The fridge STANK!!! The elevator is so old and makes noises that are scary. The hallways of the hotel are so boring to look at. Could do with a makeover. The outside of the hotel is great but as soon as you walk in to the hotel, it's ugly. The receptionists have the weirdest desks! Doesn't seem "hotely" to me.

The restaurant needs a menu revamp. Had dinner and breakfast. Dinner - quality of the sides, old salads. You just don’t serve them. Breakfast - under any Mercure standard. Paid for continental. Only a few choices. No coffee machine, so you have to order coffee from the bar. Unlike any other Mercure.

Nice room, good shower and comfy bed. Nice décor. Location good. Restaurant at hotel good with great staff (good breakfast experience).

Reception could have been better as I did not feel very welcomed arriving or departing which is a shame as I have stayed at this range of hotels before and the staff have always been great. If not for the excellent waiter in the restaurant (breakfast service) who was a joy to deal with I would have rated the hotel lower.

The hotel is located a short walk from the centre of Albury and its restaurants and cafés. The check in and out were quick and efficient. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed with lots of storage. It had good work areas and lighting. The bathroom had all the amenities we needed. For what it offered the room price was very reasonable.

The wifi was flakey. It didn't work at all with one device and was unreliable with two others.

The staff were lovely and welcoming. The bed and room was super comfortable, clean and roomy. The location was super handy to where we went in Albury, and the hotel overall was really nice and great parking facilities. A slightly later check out being approved at no extra cost was really lovely too, thank you!

That we got not much sleep with the sound of the elevator being right next to the wall our bed was on. So we woke up very sleep deprived. Also the position of the toilet being right next to a wall is not practical at all. Should be centred on the wall to have some room around it. An exhaust fan in the bathroom would be great too.

Comfy bed, mostly clean room (some hair in the bathroom), pleasant staff and quick check in and out. Good location, close to the main drag but not too loud outside.

Really loud plumbing that can be heard through the night whenever someone in a room nearby flushes or showers, stairs not available for visitor use (if you aren't comfy taking the lift with others due to COVID-19 then it can take a while to get up to your room), no kitchen sink or microwave so make sure you plan your meals out and takeaway ahead. Cutlery and plates not provided by default, I think the staff would be happy to provide them if you asked.
