Great location and excellent value for money. Just opposite the submarine and a short walk to the bakery, cafes and servo. The first thing I noticed was the individual car parks next to the rooms which is under cover and a huge space for cars. Our family room was quite large and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The rooms are maintained and presented in an excellent manner. The bathroom is also very clean and presentable. I commend the owners for their presentation of the facility and will book again when we next drive through. Thank you.

Walk in shower with plenty of hot water (compared to the shower over the spa bath in Waurn Ponds, Victoria. Electric blankets with switching by the bedside (after no blankets--just whole room reverse cycle heating-- a very poor system of providing warmth to the persons Lovely soft double bed. Using bathroom basin for washing meal dishes. Power board to connect electric blankers which wee was crammed into a small place and one electric blanket became unconnected

The motel is set off the main road, so there was no traffic noise. Located in the main street, it is a short walk to the hotel for meals and other shops are nearby, including an IGA. The submarine is also within walking distance. Each room has a carport attached to the room. In the room is a microwave, jug, toaster, fridge, cutlery and crockery. In the garden were large grapefruit trees with delicious fruit.

The motel grounds really need the attention of a keen gardener, and the outside of the rooms and carports need some maintenance ... but considering the last two years, maybe there hasn't been funds available. (Inside the rooms are in very good condition).

This motel is retro cool! It is freshly painted in a lovely green relevant to 60's-70's architecture. We arrived in the night and it was all lit up cute with simple but cool outdoor lights. Think the Cars movie and arriving in Radiator Springs! We liked the crunchy white stones on the drive way. Terrific undercover car park next to your room. Will stay again. ;)

The room was an excellent size for a motel.The staff couldn't do enough to support You ,All told excellent room. Bonus had a car port next to room,never had one of those.

It's not that I didn't like it but a bigger fridge with freezer would have been nice.

Have stayed there before but not on a Saturday night . There is a hotel next door that was hosting a birthday party with very loud music . Lucky for us it stopped at 11 pm

The motel room was spacious the beds were very comfortable and had all the conveniences we needed for an overnight stay . The fact that you could park the car in an undercover space was also appreciated

The room was very cold on arrival but heated up once the heater was on for a while. The bathroom was very clean but in need of an update.

On the main road and easy to find. Walking distance to the submarine and info centre/museum. Everything you need.

A bit dated in some decor. Paint peeling in the bathroom and rusty shower curtain pole.

Very clean, comfortable beds. excellent shower. Carports between the units meant there was no noise from neighbours rooms. Good quality toiletries and tea making supplies.

Looks a bit dated but was cleaner and neater than some more modern places we have stayed in. Outside lights were bright, didn’t realise there was a switch outside, would have been good to know we could turn it off.

Breakfast not provided. Room was quiet, very spacious and comfortable.

Design of accommodation wings very outdated and unattractive and rooms have little privacy. Planting of greenery in front of each unit would improve the building by providing some privacy, protection from the summer sun and improve the appearance.
