The location was good for an overnight stay between Sydney and the Sunshine Coast. The motel looked as if it had had an ungrade since we last stayed there but perhaps it was just the first time we had stayed in Room 1. The room has everything we need.

It was extremely noisy from road traffic throughout the night. A sound barrier between the room and the street might help. We will return but not to this room because of the noise factor. Rooms 3 and 4 were quiet on previous visits as they are insulated by the other rooms.

Very tidy and nicely maintained. The room was clean and comfortable for a one night stay. The shower was lovely. Friendly service on check in and check out. Easily walkable to food and shops, and petrol station two doors down was very convenient. Maclean itself was a lovely little town and a great stop on our trip north.

We would have really loved a block out curtain or similar to cover the big window, as the blinds on their own weren’t very effective at blocking the light into the room and it was very bright for sleeping.

Spotlessly clean, well provisioned, minibar on offer which was convenient, microwave in room for easy dinner, room was bright and airy with a nice feel, bed was extremely comfy and slept very well

Staff couldn't find the key for the room, I was given the spare, would rather know there wasn't a room key out there somewhere for my room, was a bit of traffic noise but couldn't be helped, the road quietened down after rush hour and didn't notice it again until morning

Loved the location, value for money, having the 3 kids in their own room and with a bed each, friendly staff, Foxtel & Netflix, perfect park for our car with camper attached, it felt safe, very clean. Also loved the bright, fun canvases in the room & the cute ones in the kids room. The place has a nice atmosphere.

We were having cereal for breakfast in the room before heading off & there wasn't enough cutlery or bowls/plates for a family. We found one & a spoon & made do lol. The fridge also was making this regular strange noise.

spacious parking places, big family room, nice BBQ facilities with a box containing napkins, cutlery etc. Swimming pool, nice breakfast, friendly hosts

we got a room next to the street which was very very loud. When we entered the room we thought that all windows were open but that was the “normal” noise level from the streets. We are all good sleepers so no problem for us but not recommended for light sleepers.

Such amazing staff. Allowing me to change my booking last minute because we decided to stay an extra night. Was super friendly and helpful. Even refilling rooms at night with snacks when asked by a customer. I travel alot and never had such amazing customer service like I did when staying here. Keep it up guys y'all are doing great

Only thing was no power point beside the bed

Very comfortable bed and great location. Being from out of State we were unaware of Maclain's attractions. We had an upstairs room which had a river view. OK if you don't mind carrying your bags upstairs. Cooked breakfast ordered the evening before was brought to our room at the preferred time.

The motel is very close to the road which became noisy as traffic got going about 5am.

This motel was really nice, the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are actually quite large and very well appointed. Beautiful big bathroom, nice hot showers, well appointed kitchen with microwave, fridge, sink, cutlery and crockery, even some cans of softdrink and chocolates (for sale) in the room. The towels were especially lovely, so big, fluffy and soft. Plenty of easy parking on site as well. This motel is close to town and there's a wonderful view from every room. The staff are really friendly and very accommodating. We only stayed here for 3 nights but would love to have stayed longer, but we'll definitely be back and will probably stay much longer next time. This is definitely a great place to stay and we highly recommend it.

About the only thing we didn't like was leaving, we don't have any negative comments about this motel at all, it's well priced, comfortable and in a great location.

The location of this Motel is fantastic. Gorgeous views. The rooms are of a good since, clean tidy and the staff were lovely and very welcoming. Would highly recommend it and will go back and stay for longer.

Only being picky, no hair dryer and the internet was a bit hit and miss, but it definitely didn’t bother us at all. I had a issue with our TV and they came and instructed me how to sort it out straight away.

Have stopped here before. It's a perfect place to break a journey from Sydney to Brisbane. It's clean, quiet, and comfortable. Staff are attentive and helpful

Shower pressure and controls were difficult to operate.. No power points near bed. Minor inconveniences that would not stop me staying there again.
