the absolutely beautiful location directly overlooking the ocean. a fabulous room, very comfortable and a nice small balcony. great access for the pub downstairs for a lovely meal and drinks. really friendly staff who are welcoming and very helpful. across the road from a good Italian restaurant which we had a meal at on the second night. very private quiet room considering it’s at a hotel… no noise at all

it’s great, no issues

The location was terrific, view from the ocean front Signature Room with balcony (we stayed in room 101) was amazing. The Signature rooms are very comfortable, very clean, well presented.& serviced daily. Free parking, not onsite but roadside close to the Hotel. The hotel restaurant serves great affordable meals & the view is spectacular. The staff are very friendly, welcoming & helpful.

There is no toaster or microwave provided in the rooms only an electric jug & the restaurant isn't open for breakfast .There is a shared common area that has toaster, jug, microwave & fridge but unfortunately the jug & toaster went missing overnight.

can’t beat the location and the view from the superior king rooms is amazing. We have stayed here many times & love the rooms facilities and location. Very comfortable bed and pillows and although the room is compact it is very comfortable and has everything you need.

Have stayed here several times and love the accommodation. This is the first time we noticed things needing a bit of maintenance. the ceiling in the bathroom had some mould as did the roller blinds in the bedroom. these things would not deter us from staying again.

Great location right over the beach, easy to get to. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We had dinner there as well and were super satisfied with our meals, portion sizes and drinks available on tap. Our room was great- bed and pillows were comfortable, there was space for our coats as well as our bags to be accessible, but not in the way. There was also a small living space including a TV, mini fridge & couch as well as a kettle, mugs, coffee, tea, sugar and milk. Not to mention the massive windows overlooking the water. We left the blinds open a bit to be waken up by the sunrise and we were not disappointed! The room included a small sink and mirror as well so you could wash your face and brush your teeth in the room instead of the shared amenities, however the communal showers and toilets were nice and clean with great hot water and a space for clothes to go while having a shower.

The room description online was vague ..we had expected an ocean view room ..which we would have paid extra for. Great refurb however , practically , as a tradie , there are some age old classic blues : -you cant fill the kettle from the sink spout -shower water sprays everywhere -nowhere to hang clothes or put suitcase -fridge in a closed cupboard needs ventilation

We thought the room would be good but it exceeded my expectations. Super comfortable room and what must be the best outlook on the NSW coast. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the bar was relaxed and great atmosphere. Staff friendly and relaxed. Would love to come back.

Maybe parking, but it wasn’t really a problem to park on street.

The whole room was lovely as it had been recently done up. Huge comfortable bed. Bathroom with fancy shower and very nice Australian products. I especially liked the Lemon Myrtle shower gel. Flat screen smart tv that looks like a painting when not in use. And of course the sea view.

Couldn’t stay longer. Couldn’t work out the volume button on the tv, but luckily it was ok.

Location, good size room with excellent sea view. Good meal in the cafeteria style restaurant which was very busy and clearly very popular.

I really disliked not being able to turn off the standby picture on the TV. The 1 minute delay after lights out before it went off was unacceptable. It came on again when we turned a light on briefly in the middle of the night, again causing great annoyance.

Location alone makes this a terrific stop-over. I stayed in the Bunk Rooms. Nice hand basin in the room; shared bathroom down the hallway. Very clean - even a bath tub!! Was lovely to open our door onto the covered balcony area and witness a beautiful morning looking out to sea.

Only downside was the long wait for our dinner in the pub. It was worth the wait tho and delicious.
