We were a bit hesitant about this travelling with young kids, as it seemed more of a hostel re the shared bathrooms ect, but we loved it! The rooms are really nicely renovated, have Netflix, and the location is great re right in the centre if town/main street. The shared bathrooms were a hit with the kids, and when we were there it was pretty quiet. We really loved Yamba as a town too, it was a highlight of our trip!

It's not really a complaint as the rooms are what they are, but it was pretty basic and sharing bathrooms ect might have been different in peak season. With little kids (especially a toddler who could open the door!) there was a bit of negotiating and logistics re going to bathroom when we couldn't leave them alone in the room

The breakfast was really yummy, and the coffee was the best in town, and it was really close by to just go downstairs to have breakfast which was really helpful and great to do. We also met up with good friends that live in the town of Yamba and they met up with us for a yummy breakfast and we all loved it there. The staff are so awesome and friendly and really make you feel welcome on Holidays and it's such a great vibe here. Cheers from the twins from the Gong!!!!

We can't wait for the smoker and pizza oven to be all up and running upstairs so we can come back and checked this out as it wasn't open at the time as the staff were working on these projects on those 2 things so hopefully in the near future, we see it up and running as it would be a great evening up on the decks there to try out these food items. This accomodation was above a brewery in the middle of the main street. It was all self service and we never spoke to anyone although there was staff in the brewery below that I believe we could have asked if necessary. The room looked like it had been recently refurbished and the bathroom tiling (We booked a room with private bathroom ) was very stylish. The room only had tea and coffee making facility but it was great to have a small communal kitchen so that we could have breakfast in our room. The town mostly seems to be based around the river but there were a variety of beaches not far away.

The vibe and the owners were so hospitable, enjoying conversations about their renovations and micro brewery. ( thanks Chrissy and chook) Our room was cool and comfortable, with minimal disruption from thoughtless people coming in late. Walking to any restaurant, club or cafe was so easy and the wobbly chook brewery/ beer was fabulous downstairs! Very welcoming and felt like Yamba is a good place to always visit. Staff overall were attentive and looked after by their managers/ owners. Will come back 😀

The shared bathrooms were clean most of the time( dirty people left their mess for others to clean up) ....need a bit of an upgrade as the cubicles didn't lock properly. As a female, I would have preferred a code to enter the shared bathroom rather than it being unlocked 24/7. Can't wait to see it fully completed!!

Highly recommended, the room was extremely clean and the atmosphere was excellent! Everyone that stayed there had a great time and were really happy and cheerful. No issues to report, was great. The owners were great and caring, made sure we were looked after from the moment we arrived and gave us great advice on things to do in town. The location was perfect, short walk to the beach and lighthouse. It has been such a long time since we stayed at a place that ticked all the boxes. The brewery there was excellent and loved the beer! Will visit again soon

1. The staff were very welcoming. 2. Very clean. 3. Quiet. 4. There were 2 fans and an airconditioner. 5. Flat screen TV. 6. Fridge with cold water and milk. 7. The location was good, walking diatance from the beach. 8. Undercover car parks- limited spots though. 9. Comfortable bed.

1. The minute we left the car park it was taken (even at night) .. twice. Which was a bit annoying. There is 2 hour parking in front of the place, however, we were unsure how safe it was to leave the car there all night. Turned out fine. 2. Small wish- for a mirror in the room. Everything else was great.

The room was clean and the queen bed was very comfortable. I actually took everything off the bed to see what the brand was. The shower/toilet was separate which was expected. Parking was full under the accommodation, but we found parking easily else where. The air con worked beautifully and even though the accommodation was on top of a eatery/drinking venue, there weren't any noise issues.

Location fantastic for wondering clothes and specialty shops and river ,close to bowling and golf clubs and all food shops. I feel a bike would have been great as bit of a hike to the beach especially over the hill.

Back entrance to stair well lacks professional signage for directions to room. And area untidy and smells. Rooms are super tiny with great bathroom tones of space in there .we missed an area upstairs to sit outside especially being from the country .

Location was perfect. Room very comfortable and zero issue with noise, notwithstanding an event downstairs. Communal bathrooms were clean, convenient and reasonably well appointed. Undercover parking was great (though not sure how many there would have been if the place was fully booked). 24hr check-in is super convenient. We'll go back for sure.

Info given to us at check-in referred to a communal kitchen and bbq area. I think these were still under construction or perhaps being renovated. If I'm fussy, the showers could also use a curtain so your dry clothes don't get sprayed. These are very minor gripes though. Great experience overall!

It was a great location. It was quiet, clean and the staff were friendly. I was a bit worried when we first arrived that it would be noisy and full of party revellers - but this was not the case. I felt safe and the room and bathroom were spotless. The bed was excellent and I got two great nights sleep.

We could not park our car undercover but this did not turn out to be a big deal. I did not see the kitchenette until the second day.
