This was one of the best hotel rooms I've stayed in in this price range; it was nice and spacious and had everything you could need in a room like this - including a nifty little kitchen sink in the corner. I especially liked the comfortable couch and the little dining table - it was quite a big room and I'd stay here again no issue. I was impressed with the big balcony as well!

I had a slight issue with the freezer in the fridge (the door didn't seem to close properly) but this was very minor and didn't detract from my stay or anything like that.

Very clean. Functional layout and fairly spacious. I appreciated that the view was a sunny patch of grass, not a concrete car park. The air con kept the room warm and comfortable during my winter stay. Bed was comfortable. Free wifi and Netflix. Good light for reading and sketching at night. Handy little microwave so I could make porridge for breakfast. Friendly service. Convenient location. Very pleased for this price!

Car park was sometimes full, but I found street parking nearby. Decor was clean, but a bit tired.

Quiet location and 1 block up from the main street for pubs and cafes, supermarket within walking distance. Large, clean and comfy rooms but beware the bed easily rolls when you go to sit on it. Great shower and plenty of towels. Air con worked well to heat the room as it was really cold the night I was there.

The frig in the kitchenette was TINY! I couldn't even fit my round milk bottle in the door and had to decide what food had priority in the frig. Take note that 9 out of the 14 units are upstairs so if you have mobility issues, like I do, this could be a problem. Glad I was only staying for 1 night because of this. The reception was unmanned and I eventually had to call to find out my room number. Don't get excited with undercover parking. There are only 4!

Spacious upstairs room in a quiet street close enough to walk to cafes, pubs and shops. Having a sink in the living area is a bonus for a motel room and a view from inside and on the balcony. No reception due to arson issue but clear text contact and follow-up re entry.

Lighting a little odd, very small fridge and restricted bed access on one side but a comfortable place to sleep.

Good location close to just about everything. Facilities were comfortable and the room service person was helpful and friendly. We have stayed there annually for a number of years now.

Parking spaces were at times hard to find. Reception was not attended on the two or three occasions I tried to access it, but was able to handle my needs by phone.

Great location, only a short walk to supermarkets. Quiet and comfortable, with good amenities. Value for money. Lovely reception staff, easy check in and out.

Not enough parking spaces for units, though I was lucky. As mentioned by others, the bed casters made the bed move even with small movements but it was comfortable. My room and bathroom were not refurbished, not that it mattered to me but others would think the cracked tiles and shower curtain are outdated.

Would have liked to have known prior that there had been a fire and no reception. Communication was good from host but if my phone had died I would have not known what to do. Don’t leave anything outside your room as thieving is an issue as motel is not gated.

The staff was absolutely amazing! I can’t remember the lady’s name but she was so accommodating to myself and my Mum when I told her we would be needing a late check in! My experience with her was absolutely perfect!

It might seem really silly. But the only thing I’d recommend “fixing” or “changing” is adding stoppers to the beds wheels, when you want to lean up against the wall on the bed it moves and during the night your pillows fall between the wall and the bed.

Very clean room and bathroom. Perfect for a cycling holiday- used as base. Good location - short walk to restaurants and hotels for drinks. Very comfortable bed and air conditioning was perfect to cool down after cycling in 30 degree heat.

No complaints!

Everything from the room, to the parking and how conveniently located the motel was is no doubt going to be my place to stay upon my return to Parkes. Thankyou to the Staff (especially Kristina) for organising everything for my stay. Much appreciated and God bless. Taita.
