Moonraker Motor Inn

Location, next to park. Window overlooked park with birds and fountain. Comfortable bed and desk in room. The drawers were useful in the room. Spacious room.

Fridge would have been better if positioned for easier access and a little bigger. The corner carpark next to ours was difficult for our neighbour to reverse out his car. Fortunately we were able to help him by moving our car. I needed to bend down a lot to reach our bags. A luggage rack would have been helpful. There is enough space for this.

Though the motel is an older facility, the room was very clean and you can tell that the manager and staff take pride in the motel. Parking is a breeze with places allocated outside of each room. If you like to walk, it's just the right distance out of the main part of town (I didn't use my ute once in the three days I was there).

Friendly Manager. Very clean, comfortable. Parking at the door Relatively quiet considering the location. The bed was extremely comfortable. We loved staying at Moonraker and will do so again if we need to stay in Parkes.

Nothing really. Everything just fine. I prefer china plates and Stainless Steel cutlery, but quite happy to use disposables.

First time in Parkes and the Moonraker Motor Inn is a very nice motel - Clean, spacious and comfortable and easily accessible. Good value.

There was nothing to dislike - the motel had everything we needed.

The room was so spacious and well appointed. Clever to have the bathroom at the front to block out any noise from car park/pool area. Comfortable and clean. We would stay again. Too cold for the pool. I have vague memories of swimming in the pool in the middle of the car park years ago.

I liked the friendly staff Kat and her children were beautiful and polite! The room was lovely, but I think former people had left a half full coke bottle hidden behind the kitchen cupboard and a teaspoon on the window ledge, behind the curtain, which I thigght was odd. But it was lovely and clean.

It was great having a restaurant at the motel as we there foe a delicious meal

The waft of floral room air freshener was overpowering, later that evening we could smell cigarette smoke in all the furnishings and carpet which was very unpleasant . All motel rooms should be smoke free.

Good clean and comfortable spacious room. Solid first impression.

My room lacked a fire and smoke alarm. Otherwise a good stay.

The room was well presented and very clean. It had all the facilities we needed for our travels. The bed was also very comfortable and enjoyed having a microwave which came in handy. The bath was a bonus

The only complaint was that it was a bit close to the road so you could hear the trucks but overall once asleep all good

Pleasantly surprised, not expecting much and was impressed by the service in the restaurant. Waitress was absolutely lovely and food good. Rooms spotless and spacious. Even though on the main road reasonably quiet. Great value for money

Bathroom a bit dated and the decor would be the only negative but really it was fine.
