We recently stayed 4 nights at Tenterfield Motor Inn and we very pleased with our choice of accommodation. Rooms were very clean, staff were friendly, and the location was picturesque. Our accommodation was very affordable, and came with a free light continental breakfast that was delivered to our room each afternoon. I will definitely be returning again in the near future. I highly recommend this place for anyone passing through Tenterfield. You won't be disappointed..

It was great to catch up with Steve as Marg was away on family duties. Very relaxing & friendly stay. Steve rung earlier in the day whilst we travelling to tell us he had upgraded our room. Great people. The room was fantastic as always. Breakfast was sublime as we requested a big breakfast & Steve did a super job so thankyou again. We also enjoyed a couple of beers the night before as we had not seen them last year so it was great to catch up. Tenterfield we like so much & its great to visit.

Nothing as these two people have been fantastic from the time we ever stayed there.

I stayed 4 nights in the Deluxe Double room...it was huge with a wonderful view from the giant window...gorgeous sunsets....close to lovely walks and town centre but so quiet...comfy big bed....great shower too, and very clean. Margy and Steve were helpful and friendly on reception. Thankyou....I felt welcome 🤗....would definitely recommend Tenterfield Motor Inn and stay there again..... excellent value too,, and I know because I have stayed in many motels.

There was nothing I didn't like..

Big rooms with a view across lawns. Very nice. You could easily spend a few days comfortably here. Dedicated parking, undercover and outside the room. Good location in the main street but night right in town. Go for the good rooms, stay for the really wonderful owners.

Very little to say here. Make sure you have the bottom switch on I side the front door or you'll turn the air conditioner off. That can lead you to get cold in winters (I was there in winter).

Excellent comfortable beds, excellent location near all the central locations in Tenterfield you could easily walk to. Our hosts were very friendly and assisted us with a special request. The room we were in looked like it was freshly renovated and it was a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

No issues with the place we went to. We were able to do our sightseeing and come back to the room with no issues even very late at night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Tenterfield and the accommodation was close to town, we were able to easily walk. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for our family of four. It was very quiet as we were away from the road. The breakfast of toast, cereal and juice was a great start to our day….and the bakery just a short stroll away had great salad rolls and lamingtons. Also recommend the local Thai restaurant for dinner. Reception were very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

A few of the light switches need attention. Could also do with some blinds on a small high window as the light came in the morning.

The room was clean and comfortable. We heard no noise through the night. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The breakfast consisted of a cereal, juice, toast and condiments. They deliver it the night before so you can get an early start with something in your stomach. It was an easy walk to town for dinner.

Lots of workers staying there and heading off at 6 am but we were awake anyway so it didn't really disturb us.

Great location-within walking distance to town. Check in was easy and it was nice to be greeted by our host. Room relatively clean. Relatively quiet rooms too even though we were on the main road.

All the packaging used for breakfast. Maybe reusable containers could be used to reduce single use plastic. Maybe a recycling bin down near the rooms for people to put recycling in instead of placing in general waste.

The room is large, clean and well appointed. For the price it is a great place for an overnight stay. It has undercover parking. A continental breakfast is provided which is an added bonus. Whilst located on the main highway the rooms are at the rear and ours was very quiet.

It would be good to provide instructions on the operation of the air conditioner and TV as there are isolating switches that over ride the controllers. The isolating switches could also be labelled as it appears the original labels have been lost.

Staff were very friendly and let me know of the local cafes shops etc aswell as their openingtimes. Continental breakfast was amazing, came with cereal, milk, bread, and spreds as well as a glass of juice. Plenty of tea and coffee sugar etc, toaster kettle, and microwave. All in all their was nothing to com0lain about
