This is possibly the best apartment that we have ever stayed in. The location is spot on with a ten minute walk from both the CBD and waterfront, the apartment is huge and very very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need if you want to cook in and has a washing machine, tumble drier and ironing facilities. They even supply washing powder and dish washer tablets everything has been thought of. The bedroom is large and the bed was very comfortable. The balcony is a good size and is an excellent outside living space. I cannot recommend this apartment enough and if you are going to Darwin this is a must.

I know that I am being very picky but the internet is a bit hit and miss when not in the main living area.

extremely spacious apartment with large covered balcony with harbor views. It was the cleanest apartment we have ever stayed in. even the kitchen cupboards and wardrobe were spotless. all utensils were spotless including gleaming saucepans and frypan. The cleaning staff are a team of about 4 so they will do regular restock but also a mid stay clean for those staying a week or more. where they not only change linen but vacuum and wash floors, dust and clean bathrooms. The cleaners are to be commended. The kitchen was well equipped. It was walking distance to Harbour restaurants and shopping, restaurants and cafes in CBD. very secure and well maintained building. 24 hour reception. Well equipped gym and nice undercover pool. Even a guest lounge and shower for those arriving early or checking out late. Highly recommend this apartment.

This property is amazing, great value, apartments are beautiful, the staff are great & ready to help when required. I booked a apartment for 4 people, once we checked in reception staff upgraded us to penthouse- which was stunning & beautiful with great views from all balconies - benefits of this I guess was travelling to Darwin in wet season { off peak}. Pool was lovely and relaxing. Great location, close to city if walking. Thankyou to the staff at Argus Apartments- and a big Thankyou for the upgrade. 100%

Clean apartment, nice pool and gym. Great service, timely support, and nice people at the desk. Well locate, we could visit the city center and shopping moles (grocery stores too) on foot. Very large apartment with a balcony, where we could have lunch or dinner outside. Aircon, fan and WiFi working well. Large bathrooms. Great apartment indeed.

The gym could have more equipment for training legs and abdominal muscles. Also, no drinking water was available in the gym room or close by. We had to pay the parking slot located 3 levels down in the basement. The dishwasher had no instructions and we could not manage to use it till the service team explained us how to do it.

While it was a little on the pricey side compared to other similar properties in the area, we couldn’t have been happier with the modern and well appointed facilities, super helpful staff and great proximity to the CBD and waterfront.

We stayed for 7 nights and the only (very small, of very little consequence) item that we didn’t love was that halfway through our stay when we had our towels changed, housekeeping also threw away the bar of soap beside the basin in the bathroom that we had been using to wash our hands - we would have been happy to continue using the same bar of soap for handwashing for the duration of our stay to avoid waste.

The penthouse apartment was very spacious with plenty of 'common room' for the four bedrooms. The kitchen was well appointed. We BBQed by the pool and reception provided a kit with utensils, cleaning products etc so we just had to supply the food and culinary skills. Location is on one edge of the CBD but most things were in walking distance.

The car park was a little tight on the corners because of supports. As guests we had to park on the bottom level (B3) while the upper parking levels seemed to be rented out to permanent folks. Very tight for 4wd. Because we had such grand balconies on the 9th floor, maybe a BBQ on the balcony would be more convenient than going down 9 floors, cooking and returning to the rooms to use the well provided crockery, cutlery etc.

Loved everything about our stay at the Argus. We were gob snacked by the size of our two bedroom apartment- one room had an ensuite; the other was next to a bathroom. Both were more than adequate in size. Great living space, comfy couches. Loved having a washing machine and big balcony. Appreciated the many ceiling fans in addition to air conditioners. Easy three block walk to Smith Street mall. About 20 minute walk to waterfront. Basement parking reasonable $9/day. Finally, staff were excellent- from our cleaners to reception. Special thanks to the receptionist on our checkout day, who was kindness personified.

Car park was very hairy to navigate; I wasn’t game to chance the tight corners and left driving to the menfolk in our group. They soon became accustomed to it.

Good sized rooms, comfy bed and pillows. Well equipped kitchen. Good shower. Toiletries provided. Fresh towels provided every 2 days. Good location to coffee shops, eateries. Reception staff very helpful and polite. Lifts operate well.

Most nights there were loud noises of furniture moving from the floor above so we had to use earplugs to block this out. We had no way of getting to the floor above to request people above to be more considerate. Bathroom fan didn’t work. Some noisy building and renovation works happening nearby which started early morning but fortunately not at weekends.

The unit was big and spacious. We sat on the balcony and ate all our meals, plus happy hour. The location was waking distance to the mall, woolies and the water front. If you go to Lichfield national Park, then take one of the many pool noodles that they have on level 1 next to the cleaners. People leave them when going home. They also had eskies.

We didn't like the garage. It was a nightmare to park the car every day. If you have a really small car, then great, but we had a kia carnival and how we didn't scrape the side of it, I'll never know.

We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to the four-bedroom penthouse suite which was so beautiful and spacious. There were four separate bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a wonderful living area and superb views from two separate balconies.

The toilet that was communal (not an ensuite) was out of order for a couple of days and due to the weekend and public holiday was not fixed immediately. This was tricky during the night, having to disturb others by entering their bedrooms to use the bathroom. The staff however were very good at communicating the status of the repairs.
