I would like to bring to your attention that I missed having bedside lamps during my recent stay at your establishment. The overhead lighting was quite unpleasant and also consumed a lot of energy, contributing to environmental pollution. I understand that on one occasion, my room was not serviced. However, I believe that providing bedside lamps would greatly enhance the guest experience and promote sustainability practices. I kindly request that you consider installing bedside lamps in your rooms to provide a more comfortable and eco-friendly atmosphere for your guests. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The room and whole motel actually was pretty quiet, unusual given its location. Everything was clean, the foyer always looked nice and inviting.

My air conditioner dripped next to one of the bed side tables. I put a towel underneath it so the puddle wouldn't spread. I did mention this to someone on the front desk. The dripping was quite loud, though I turned the air con off at night so it wasn't that much trouble. I think it should be fixed though... Staff were polite when I spoke to them but they didn't look up or greet people as they walked past the desk. That surprised me.

The aircon was not working in the room we booked so we started quite uncomfortable. However, the staff were very nice and, after checking the aircon, moved us to an apartment. Although two of us had to share a bed the bed was big and the facilities were exceptional. There was no change in the price so we were very happy. Staff were great, as was the apartment.

Aircon not working in first room was not good. Also there was no clothes airer for drying clothes in the first room. I’d phoned ahead to find out and was told one couldn’t be supplied. An airer was in the second room which was fantastic. But we feel supply of one in the first room was possible and the hotel should consider providing these on request. First room did have some dust, so not as clean as expected.

I stayed in the annex accommodation behind the main building in room 12. Great value at $95 on a Saturday evening; clean, pumping air conditioner and I was fortunate not to be woken by any drunkies during the night given the central location.

Nothing directly connected to the staff or hotel; just be aware that many intoxicated locals stumble around Darwin at all hours, it gets weary dealing with them. While I was waiting for my pick up to my next destination I witnessed a receptionist getting verbally abused by a drunk who thought he could just wander around the foyer. She doesn't have to put up with that.

The hotel is central and accessible. Parking is secure. very clean throughout. staff are very helpful especially Jay on the front desk who made life easy when we had a rescheduled flight.

Lovely staff. Informative staff. Decent laundry facility. Good beds/mattresses/sheets. Good shower size and water pressure. Noise insulation from other rooms was excellent, didn’t know anyone else was around. Cleaning staff excellent, quick, helpful, friendly, polite. Reception staff excellent, friendly, informative cheerful polite professional. ??kamal - delightful. Spacious hallways, rooms, bathroom. 3 exits and pvt safe parking.

Our bathroom sink did not drain too well. Poor selection of TV channels

I liked the central location in Darwin City. Handy to the Banks& Post office all close and of course the night /quiet beer across the street in a local outdoor bar. Very layback atmoshere in Darwin. Staff at the desk were so very helpful with lovely professional manners a compliment to your Hotel because we had arrived into Darwin Airport at 1:30AM from Adelaide. . Our room was very comfortable, fresh towels, lovely amenities the shower was heavenly with extra space, so I booked in to stay, one more extra night... Absolutely Lovely two night stay at a The Darwin City Hotel.

The upgraded room was excellent, exceeded our expectations. Atila was very helpful in getting us the upgrade

Had to get help to get the TV going. Also I requested extra tea & coffee on a couple of days as it was not refilled. More facilities like a toaster or MW to warm our food as the hotel did not have facilities for breakfast, The std double room was too small for two & that I wanted to be upgraded overnight & it was located outside the main building. Like other hotels in the area, the hotel should offer pick up & drop off from airport

It’s good and meets all basic needs, amenities cared for. Great location especially if you don’t drive or have a car; middle of the city and convenient, access to everything you need and all good spots around town. Super comfy bed and very friendly & accomodating staff!

Even the superior king suite rooms are very small, and the bedside lamps are awful. Shower leaked but think that was only the room I had recently as have never found that issue here before. Minor inconveniences for an otherwise great place tho :)

This was centrally-located - very close to the mall, the supermarket and coffee shops so easy to walk around! We had a good sized apartment with a well-equipped kitchen and laundry. While the apartment is a bit sterile with a 1980s sort of style, this wasn't an issue for us.

The noise - it was quite windy and something outside the window clanged all night! There was also quite a lot of noise in the early morning from people leaving venues. There was limited customer service from the staff at reception - they were quite offhand and uninterested. The only thing in the apartment that wasn't great was the sofa - it was advertised as another bed but it was very uncomfortable and there was inadequate bedding in the apartment.
