Rooms were fantastic. In room dining was great and actually probably better than the meals I had at Lobby Bar.

Drinking glasses in my room weren’t swapped/cleaned in 3 days. I asked the cleaners if they could change them one day and they said I should leave a note for the cleaner. Not a huge thing though!

Rooms v comfortable, well designed with very good interior styling

I was very upset that the music was so loud by the poolside that it was impossible to relax and read. It was unrelenting and not to everyone’s taste - I would have stayed longer if it was possible to relax outside the bedroom. I am aware it was the weekend, and wonder if during weekdays the same music regime applies. In my opinion it is inappropriate at a first class hotel to determine what every guest want to listen to. Some guests come to relax from work or home pressure.

Staff were without exception cheery helpful and well trained. Location was excellent - no other neighbourhood in Brisbane matches it. Restaurant opening times within the hotel were a bit limited. Rooms were not overly large but were faultless for cleanliness. Hotel facilities excellent - including a first rate gym.

Parking arrangements for hotel guests. At this price point guests should be able to park at the hotel without additional costs. Most restaurants in building are independent of the hotel making bookings etc a bit awkward. Limited concierge service.

Very comfortable beds, and the pool area was amazing!

The strict rules they had around dining @ Hellenika. I checked out of my room, and wanted to have lunch in the sun by the pool area the following day, but they wouldn’t let me be seated in that area at all. Instead kept me confined to a space at the bar like a regular lunch customer. Bit disappointing considering I spent over $350 having dinner there the night before, and over $400 on the room. Otherwise, the stay was great 😊

A very lovely hotel in a nice part of the valley precinct. Modern , clean comfortable , close to lots of great restaurants & coffee shops. Beautiful setting for pool area & Hellinika restaurant, which we enjoyed for dinner

I definitely believe this hotel, although very nice, could offer much more competitive pricing. Perhaps some more affordable package deals or special prices for certain nights. It is a predominantly younger persons scene and place to be seen, and as a more mature couple, the party poolside vibe wasn’t really for us.

Great vibe, comfy bed, surrounded by exceptional restaurants. Really enjoyed our two night stay and will be back

A lot of loud music from other establishments in the street when we were there on the Saturday night but it wouldn’t stop us from staying again. Also, we left two charges (iPhone and iPad) in the wall next to the bed and were told that nothing was found by house cleaning staff but we know 100% that we left them there so that was a little disappointing

The staff and service at The Calile is some of the best I have ever experienced. Always smiling and friendly. Absolutely superb.

While the water filter taps outside the lifts are a great idea, ours didnt work. There also weren't enough coffee capsules in the room. Not major things at all but still worth mentioning. Alos while the staff and service are amazing, the restaurant (namley the breakfast cafe downstairs) needs to be a little more attentive to people waiting for a seat and waiting to order as this at times was overlooked.

Visually gorgeous hotel that is The Scene in Brisbane at this moment. The building is truly something to behold with its modernist/slightly retro concrete lines, detailed woodworks, innovative color scheme (that green marble is wonderful). Our corner junior suite king had a terrace over looking CBD, with a table counter and stools. Perfect for a drink outside. The room was in effect a suite since the living area separated entirely from the room. All around the hotel are great shops and eating options, all very hip and stylish. Food at Hellenika, though expensive, was very nice.

We did not sleep as well as we had wished: AC was too noisy and air pushed hard onto the bed, which was a bit too soft for our taste. Furniture in living area very attractive but uncomfortable: no area to relax but the bed given that there is only a day bed with back rest and two chairs that do not invite a prolonged stay. Pool was crowded with children even on a Monday afternoon. On Sunday there were some very loud drunken people there.

i did not enjoy the music by the pool it was too loud and we were there to relax and it felt really overpowering- the choice of music was like cheesy ambient almost like elevator music - if people want music to they can listen on phones and earpods also too many children- the pool is not designed to accommodate splashing and screaming kids - there needs to be a seperate pool for children or NO children

Everything was awesome, It’s just different to other hotels, I like how it’s all very open & airy. Our room was lovely & comfortable with one of the best showers ever. We had great views overlooking the city. The staff were all friendly too & we got late check out & free parking, which was a bonus. The lobby bar was nice to have drinks at & Hellenika for dinner was great!

Nothing, couldn’t really fault anything about our stay.
