I stayed for 9 nights in this resort (in beach view room) and am very happy with the accommodation. It has almost all basic amenities you need like an induction stove, microwave, washing machine, dryer, toaster etc. I also used the swimming pool which was a great addition to our stay. The location of the resort was ideal for me as it was close 10-15 min drive (as I had a hire car) to Cairns CBD. Also, because it avoids the traffic lights of Cairns, it took less time to get to other places outside Cairns city centre such as Kuranda Skyrail, Atherton, Port Douglas, Mossman, Gorge etc. I will definitely return again to this accommodation if I cone Cairns again :)

Only minor issue is availability of WIFI and 4G/5G in the area the resort is located.

It’s a beautifully maintained pool area and gardens, the staff were very helpful. I would say a car is a definite if you want to get places although there is a regular bus service a few yards from resort but it stops quite early in evening. There are a couple good restaurants walking distance. A coffee shop. These properties seem to be independent owners who rent out and/or stay in them. Therefore each unit is maintained differently.

The fact that they are individually owned as stated meant that ours was nothing like the pictures and was a bit tired…. But at the end of day it was just a base and had everything we needed.

Friendly staff and guests . Pool area was great except spa in pool was not working which was disappointing .

The resort was across the road from beach and an amazing Cafe, with great coffee & food. Nice pool area, but could of had a bbq area.

At first we were disappointed it wasn’t in Cairns it’s at Holloway Beach (even though it’s called Cairns Beach Resort) it’s about a 15/20min drive, but this was actually a plus because it wasn’t in the hustle & bustle of Cairns and central to other attractions. Needed some TLC around stair areas and our unit said garden view but was basically the road and houses across the road.

Wow from the moment we arrived to the time we left we had a fantastic time. Ruby the manager was very helpful and made us feel at home. Her knowledge of the area and things to do in Cairns was great and took her advice on doing the Reef Cruise on board Evolution for Snorkeling and the Skyrail Cable car to Kurandra stopping off at Red Peak and Barron Falls. The Kids enjoyed the pool area after a days outing and the local buses took us in to Cairns. Overall couldn't recommend the Cairns Beach Resort highly enough especially for families. We arrived early and our room was quickly made available to us, with our grocery delivery waiting in our room. The owners (I'm sorry, I didn't catch their names) were so lovely and hospitable and made us feel very welcome. Location- The resort is literally a stone's throw away from the beach. A few eateries in easy walking distance and cairns CBD an easy 15 min uber ride away. There is a bus stop nearby, however we opted for uber. Room- Our room was large and clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable 3 night stay. Bed was comfy, shower pressure was good and a tv in the bedroom was a nice little surprise to unwind at the end of the day. We cooked dinner in our room one night and had everything we needed. Amenities- We didn't swim, however the pool looked very inviting, clean and water was warm. DVDs available to borrow in reception area made for a nice evening unwind. Lots of info about local activities. The resort is very quiet and relaxing. We cannot fault our stay here and felt it was great value for money based off it's proximity to the beach and quality of the room. We will definitely be back!

Great location for a pieceful stay (only 20 min. Drive from the airport). Next to a nice, quiet beach and a cafe where you can have a breakfast and lunch. There's an Italian restaurant nearby open long hours. If you want to cook, rooms are equipped with everything you need (just bring your own spices -samples of salt &pepper provided by the resort). You're also allowed to order food online from Coles. The staff is super nice and helpful. Ruby was helping us with organising some trips, renting a car, understanding the area. There is a bus stop 5 min. walk away that will take you to Cairns where all the trip to Great Barrier Reef start from (40 min) and to Smithfield (10 min) where the SkyRail to Kuranda (&rainforest) starts. Good value for money.

Quiet location but really easy trip into Cairns Central Resort Manager Ruby was a delight, so friendly and nothing too much trouble. We booked three units for a family holiday and we were very comfortable. Lovely gardens and pool area. Free DVD and book library at reception. We loved our stay and would stay again without hesitation

A BBQ in the garden area would have been great but didn't ruin our holiday! There were BBQs on the foreshore across the road but not that convenient if wanted to eat at accommodation.

the fact the resort is only 15 mins from Cairns . The resort was located in a quite suburb compaired to other suburbs that have larger resort style facilities. The pool was clean and kept at a friendly temperature for swimming all year round. the surronding area around the pool was kept clean and tidy.

Can't say much about any faults. The only things I feel the room may have needed some cleaning products to wipe over kitchen and tables after use. The BBQ outside was removed which prevented cooking outside

Perfect Place to stay for a relaxing holiday! Close to the beach and even restaurants nearby. The pool was heated as well so if you wanna jump in later in the day it’s perfect to do so. Great staff as well, helped us out with everything and always attending.

Needs a proper exhaust fan in the toilets or even a window. Not a pleasant place for the next person to be after the previous person has been to the toilet for a Number 2.
