We loved the view of the sea from our unit, which was very clean and comfortable.We liked the nice clean pool,and were lucky very few guests so had it to ourselves. There were great barbie facilities , though we didn't use them. Would have been fun to have a hit of tennis , but too hot in december. We were extremely impressed with the manager, Kym. She was so friendly, and informative. Her husband and her are obviously running the complex very well.

Nothing to dislike really. Only the walk up the steps or driveway which is needed for the great location( view). We diidn't have a car. A few more glasses, and plastic cups for the pool area would be good.

The view was stunning! We had the ocean view from one side of our apartment and the mountains\rainforest view from the other side. We also loved the location of the hotel. It was away from all the noisy part of the Trinity village, which gave us quite peaceful time at out hotel. But it was only 2-3 minutes walk to the nearest cafe\restaurant and esplanade. Loved the facilities of the hotel - the tennis court, the swimming pool, the BBQ area. They all were located close to each other and it was perfect for our active family of 4 (two adults, two kids).

The beds were not comfortable. They were uneven with the middle part being lower than the sides. Hence the sleeping wasn’t smooth and pleasing at nights. Also, it wasn’t good for my back and I could feel it in the morning/

The highlights were the great view, perfect location and friendly staff. We were given a room upgrade that made our stay even more special. Kim is such a lovely lady, always smiling and keen to help!

Thank you to all the staff at Amaroo, you really made us feel so welcome ! Cant believe the thought that you have put into the rooms to make your guests feel at home. Julia and Kim were great with their tips of places to go and venture too especially the coffee. They put us in touch with Andrew who looked after us exceptionally, running us around everywhere at short notice even when we needed to get to Cairns Marina by 8.15am the next morning.

The sliding door in bathroom needs a handle on it to aid with sliding it open and shut. The beautiful shower and accessories were lovely all brand-new vanity, mirror cupboard was so nice and spotless clean.

Location close to amenities - restaurants, bus, grocery story. Views to beach and mountains from apartment. Close to beach Very well maintained block with warm pool and large BBQ area. Our apartment had been newly renovated and was lovely. Modern with floating floor and modern touches. Very nice kitchen with everything clean and sparkling, Comfy beds and nice linen, would recommend the microfibre blankets great for the season. Wifi worked well. Lift worked well and corridors newly painted. Staff were helpful and we could store luggage and use pool prior to our check in. We would definitely stay here again as it was quiet and peaceful too. Fans and air conditioner are quiet. I also liked the fact that you did not need to pay immediately on booking which is a help if you got sick beforehand.

Just a note to people with severe mobility problems. The driveway is quite steep from Moore Street. If you have a car though this isn't a problem . There are steps to the esplanade also. The owner did point out this to me before booking . My mobility actually got better after a couple of trips up and down !

The room was very clean and was sufficiently equipped for 2. The only reason I have not given it a 10 is because the bathroom was small and no spare towels were provided. It was however nice to have beach towels provided. Loved the views from the balcony.

The bathroom is quite small. Distance to most activities as there was no pick up available from Trinity. So ended up spending a lot on transport. Works well if you intend to just be at Trinity

The location at the north end of the esplanade is great with access to the beach and esplanade through the stairs a big advantage. The room is super comfortable and very modern and the view from the balcony is picture perfect. The staff at reception was very friendly and welcoming.

The only thing that I would change is the pillows: they are really too big and hard.

Short walk to the beach and restaurants. Kym was very helpful and friendly.

The bed was soft and probably needs to be updated. Choice of high and low pillows would have been appreciated. The couch needs updating as it was uncomfortable and the seat cushions kept moving forward. The balcony table was very wobbly so we didn'tuse it.

Great location, great layout for studio apartment felt very spacious , love the steps down to the beach

Kitchen facilities were very sparse for a ‘self contained apartment’ . No oven or cooktop . No sandwich press , air fryer or suitable appliances. No salt or pepper . Drinking glasses inadequate for a long cool drink

The staff were very friendly, attentive & helpful. The location was very convenient & great views. It was very clean…apartment & facilities.

Can’t really fault anything. I suppose having to pay for use of a washing machine & dryer in the communal laundry was not something we have experienced recently in other stays.
