The location was perfect. Close to the lagoon, shops, cafes and restaurants. And the port where we were cruising from the next day. The apartment was great and we had a cheeky upgrade so loads of space for the three of us. Would have loved to use the pool but we didn’t have time.

The air con was a bit slow to kick in and parts of the room were a little dated but the bathroom was spot on.

The situation was ideal, the hotel was clean, and the bedroom was fine,although not having it serviced daily was a bit disappointing considering the cost. The staff were helpful and friendly

The fact that this is a tourist destination and not all tourists are Australian was being disappointed in never having any wifi during our entire stay. Every morning and evening we would inquire at reception and every time there was a negative response. Considering that simple little cafes and restuarants do not have a problem,surely it is time you invested in more up to date technology. Just as an aside, my wife was two days late in finding out her sister had died back home in Scotland because of this. Out of our 6 weeks in Aus, this was the only hotel/residence that could not supply us with WiFi. :

Close to food and amenities. Nice having cooking and washing facilities. Wifi great. The staff were excellent except for the query on the account which is still not sorted. We would stay at here again.

Not having a Television in the bedroom as our daughter used the sofa bed in the main lounge area. So there was no other comfortable sofa to sit on in the main lounge area except the dining suite to watch television. The overcharge is a big deal for us as we were charged a different price than what was quoted on booking.com and we just couldn't find anyone to help after making lots of phone calls. We are still uncertain whom we are supposed to contact to discuss this.

Great location, great secure parking, excellent one bedroom apartment, friendly staff.

I actually really like that if you stay for a long period of time that you only get housekeeping every 8 days as that suits me. However, i booked for 1 week and then extend my stay to 15 nights and housekeeping wasn’t automatically arranged, i had to request it. I did speak with reception and they were lovely about it and organized it, but I kept waiting and they never came. I collected my own new sheets and made my own bed. This wasn’t really an issue for me to make my own bed except when I later thought about the price I am paying to stay there - disappointing. Despite this I loved this place and would certainly go back.

The location was perfect you could walk outside and be in the heart of things cafes ,restaurants, lagoon etc The apartment was clean and spacious for 2 people loved having the option to wash your clothes or cook yourself breakfast etc. The A/C was good for those hot days. Supplying beach towels was great to. I wouldn't have packed mine if I had known. The wifi was good.

I don't think I would have changed a thing. The room was a little out dated if I had to pick something. Netflix would have been great. After getting back from dinner each night would have been good to watch a movie as the options were very limited but that's a minor thing.

I recall about the room: I asked for 2 things: one for 2 x single beds which you provided: thank you. I also asked for a sea view if possible: and I understand that it may not be possible, but what I think happened was when I filled out the booking form on line asking for a sea view, it 'seemed' I was getting one; i just do not recall that it said 'maybe'. That's all I want to say. THe staff were amazing, wish I could recall the gentleman's name but Grey was the lady and nothing was too much trouble for her, or the other gentleman who worked with her , and any of the staff. Great location, close to everything especially to the reef boat terminal. Staff was really friendly and so helpful, pool was great and always quiet

No much really to complain about just the room smelt of damp when we first arrived but soon cleared when we left the air con for a while. The shower wasn’t the most powerful but all minor details and didn’t affect the great stay we had

Mabtra Esplanade is located in the best place in the city— Lagong is in the corner, Woolworths behind it and lots of fantastic restaurants around it. we enjoy walking along in the evening to see water front views. On hot afternoon, the pool in Mantra is a cool and shaded area for relaxing.Hotel is clean and staff are super friendly and helpful. You do get free Wifi if you register for certain membership (free). I don’t know why they put WiFi charges on booking.com while customers actually get it free.

However, the facilities are just fair and could be modernised to math the brand’s reputation. I am not sure if all hotel stops provide room tidy up after Covid, but I do expect a free rubbish bag replacement ( only rubbish replacement) in the mid of my five nights stay. It was a bit disappointing to see a list showing $30 per room for simple room service (just like change rubbish bag, replace towel and tidy up bed).

Mantra Espanade is perfectly situated.... close to fine dining at The Pier, and a short walk to the Ferry Terminal for island cruises. It's not too far to walk to Cairns Central for shopping, and all the local cafes and restaurants or to the Casino. Woolworths and BWS is just across the street. The room was also clean, tidy and comfortable, and additional towels etc was no trouble at all. All the staff including cleaners were very helpful and friendly.

Nothing, I have no complaints about this venue.

Ease of checking in, excellent location within minutes of the Esplanade, Lagoon and Marina, friendly and helpful staff Free undercover parking was excellent due to its busy location. Overall, the 1-bedroom apartment was very comfortable. Would stay here again next time in Cairns.

Access to towels and condiments on own floor instead of having to go to reception each time. Furniture in room could do with updating at some point
